Rotherham – Bad New For The Nation But It Gets Better And Better For The Kippers

All week I have been seeing blogs and comments written by lefties proclaiming idiotically that Douglas Carswell’s defection to UKIP was the beginning of the end, that the UKIP bubble had burst and so on. Pretty much what they were saying in the days after UKIP had trounced the mainstream parties in the European Parliament elections.

What they are forgetting this time however is the other big news story of the week. I can understand lefties and Labour supporters not wanting to talk about the Rotherham child abuse scandal, but it is being talked about in the pubs and clubs of Labour’s industrial heartland and the talk is of how a fine, working class, patriotic and socially conservative grassroots political movement has been hijacked by effete, self loathing, guilt tripped pseudo intellectuals to the extent that it is now quite happy to sacrifice the innocence of vulnerable British children on the altars of multiculturalism and political correctness.

But the Rotherham scandal, in which left wing politicians accused social workers and coppers with the decency to object to systematic sex abuse in the child care system of racism look like being the gift that keeps on giving for UKIP. Even the left wing papers are catching the sense of outrage that is sweeping the country. This headline is from The Independent:

No wonder Farage looks like a dog with two dicks these days. And no wonder Ed Milliband looks desperate for one of Blair’s “good day to bury bad news” events.
