EU President Branded a Tool of Germany and ‘Europe’s Left-Liberal Elite’

Following an astonishing attack on his home nation, Donald Tusk, President of the European Council and former Prime Minister of Poland has suffered an immediate backlash from the Polish government, which has called into question  his ability to act as an honest broker between EU member-states.

Repeating a pattern we have seen many times before, particularly for us British from former Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock, these anti – establisment maverick political figures get on the Brussels gravy train and become devoted supporters of globalism and the ideas of supra – national authoritarian government.

The EU president’s emotional, late-night message began. “Bitter dispute with Ukraine, isolation within the European Union, departure from the rule of law and independent courts, attacks on the NGO sector and free media — the strategy of [Poland’s government] or a Kremlin plan? Too similar to sleep peacefully.”

When Tusk refers to a departure from the rule of law, he is probably talking about an EU law which would force Poland and other  of the less prosperous EU nations to accept vast numbers of illiterate semi educated immigrants from backward societies in the third world who have flooded into Europe on the back of hausfrau Volksfuhrer Merkel’s idiotic open doors immigration policy and are now causing mayhem in neighbouring Germany. Poland has chosen to uphold Polish law and continue to enforce border controls in order to ensure new entrants are a) able to speak some Polish, b) Willing to accept Polish law and customs and c) are employable.

Prime Minister Beata Szydło‏, shot back, saying he had “done nothing” for Poland since he went to Brussels, and is now using his position to attack it. Szydlo’s conservative Law and Justice Party (PiS) turfed Tusk’s left-liberal Civic Platform (PO) out of office in a landslide shortly after he took up his EU position Tusks idea of liberalism, i.e. sucking up to Germany and Brussels was so popular that after the election his party did not have one single member in the new parliaments,

A statement on the website of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) kicked Tusk’s balls even harder, that “Donald Tusk remains an instrument in the hands of Europe’s liberal-left elite, who find it difficult to come to terms with the fact that Poland is governed by a conservative party”.

The MFA also notes that Tusk has “cut himself off from Polishness” since he stepped down as prime minister under the ousted Civil Platform Party (PO) in order to take up his EU position — swapping a 240,000 złoty (€60,000) salary in Warsaw for a package of pay and perks worth well over €300,000 a year, including a five-limousine personal motorcade in Brussels.

Quitaly? Will Italy follow Britain out of the EU?
