Cities AND entire countries have taken action to ban, delay, halt, and limit 5G installation AS WELL AS issue moratoriums due to economic, environmental, health, and public safety risks.

Increased energy consumption is both an economic and environmental concern. 5G requires millions of small cells and/or antennas to operate.

Recently, China announced having close to 800,000 5G towers in operation. France announced having 22,000+.  170 cities and municipalities in Germany have 5G.

Of course, those aren’t the only locations where 5G has been deployed (see 1, 2, 3, 4). The point is that experts keep pointing out that 5G needs a whole lot more energy to operate (see 1, 2, 3, 4).  Some folks are very concerned about that. From Environmental Health Trust:

Why blur the picture?  Why risk discrediting a movement by bolting on this 5g side-issue? Why lend credence to the mainstream claim that SARSCOV2 is unique and dangerous and requires some exotic explanation, when all the evidence suggests it isn’t either of these things? Funny how the very same names Gates, Soros, DARPA,  WHO, Amazon, the global banks (who do you think is lending governments all the money they are spending, Big Pharma ans social media corporations, and the IMF. Scientists and Groups Ask Canadian Gov’t to Invest in Wired Technology and Suspend 5G Until Proven Safe

Many cities and countries have already taken action against 5G deployment by banning it, filing lawsuits, issuing moratoriums, passing ordinances and resolutions (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. 7. 8).  Since 2018, there have been reports of people and animals becoming sick after it was turned on (see 1. 2, 3, 4).

Of course it’s not just 5G that is harmful.  All sources of Electromagnetic Radiation (aka “Electrosmog”) is biologically and environmentally harmful.  This includes Bluetooth, cell phone and WiFi radiation.  Health experts have been warning about exposure risks for many years and continue to do so (see 1, 2).  This includes the World Health Organization and American Academy of Pediatrics.  Even Dr. Oz has warned about exposure!

Kudos to these Canadians for appealing to their government to stop 5G deployment and invest in safer wired connections instead.

It’s good to see some governments are at last starting to heed the warnings of medical researchers who are not in the pay of global communications corporations planning to vastly increase their profits by selling us 5G as a safe and harmless technology.

Telecommunications companies will not be rolling out 5G towers in several Swiss cantons or regions after the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment or Das Bundesamt für Umwelt (Bafu) placed an indefinite moratorium on the network’s use over potential health concerns.

In its moratorium, Bafu said it cannot yet provide universal criteria without further testing of the impact of 5G radiation on human health.

According to the agency, the moratorium will stay in place as they examine and monitor extensively the effects of 5G exposure through adaptive antennas in “real-world operational conditions,” adding that “this work will take some time”.

International newspaper The Financial Times first broke the story.

However, according to a statement sent by a representative to Mobile World Live, Bafu said that these letters did not contain any recommendation to stop the permitting of 5G base stations, but rather, only sets out how the country’s cantons can proceed with the permitting of 5G and adaptive antennas until enforcement aid on the structures is available.

In the same statement, the Bafu representative noted that several cantons and municipalities had already imposed moratoria on 5G, but added that these do “not affect Switzerland in general”.

Among the cantons that voluntarily imposed moratoria on 5G towers because of uncertainty over health risks are Geneva, Vaud, Jura and Neuchâtel.

The apprehension regarding the new 5G communication technology — which proponents say will eventually be used to support everything from driverless cars to even virtual reality — stems from the fact that individuals will be exposed to more concentrated radiation beams.

Swisscom, the country’s largest mobile operator, maintains that while it understands “the fears often expressed about new technologies,” there is no evidence that 5G radiation affects human health.
