Alps Air Crash – Another Bizarre Response From Washington

As the world digests news of yet another airline disaster, the fourth major catastrophe in a year, and awaits news of what might actually have happened, we are treated to another bizarro world intervention from the world’s greatest idiot Barack Hussein Obama.

While the White House, seemingly an expert in determining airplane crashes causes within hours if not minutes of the accident (see flight MH-17) has already opined on the tragic crash of the Lufthansa Germanwings airplane: White House – No Indication Of Terrorism In Germanwings Crash.

Now how could they know. OK, at this stage saying there is no indication of terrorism is true, but it is true in the same way as saying, “There is no indication that the aircraft was in collision with an elephant.”

Could be of course Obama has word from his ISIS and Al Qaeda mates that it wasn’t them. Otherwise the Messiah of ineptitude has only succeeded in drawing attention to himself and giving fuel to the lunatic fringe.

First pictures of the crash site are indistinct but eye witness reports suggest the wreckage is confined to a fairly small area.

A local lawmaker says the debris from the plane crash in the French Alps that killed all 150 people on board is spread over 100-200 meters (110-220 yards). Gilbert Sauvan, president of the general council of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, told the AP that “everything is pulverized.”

Sauvan said the largest pieces of debris are the size of a small car. No one can access the site from the ground, but that helicopters are circling the area to get information and 500 firefighters and gendarmes are in the area.

Further evidence that the airplane crash was not a midair disintegration is that while the vertical airspeed was susbtantial, it wasn’t freefall, and it took the airplane about 10 minutes to drop from a height of 11.5k to its final resting place some 2 kilometers high in the alps.

Knowing that the aircraft did not blow apart in mid air or stall and go into freefall does not however rule out some terrorist act of some kind. As the wreckage is not accessible and, according to reports from German news stations, after one distress call from the aircraft there was no further communication we cannot possibly know what happened.

UPDATE: 4:25 PM UK TIME, ASSOCIATED PRESS NOW REPORTS THAT THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT SEND OUT A DISTRESS CALL.

Unless of course our dear old friend Professor Want – War (I’m not giving him a link, it only encourages him, but you can see his crazy comments in the thread under this post on MH17) is able to tell us, as he did in the case of flight MH17 that because Barack Hussein Obama is the son of God made flesh it is quite obvious that Vladimir Putin, holed up in the Kremlin, fired a peashooter from Moscow and that is what brought the flight down.

There is something going on with these airline disasters and the speed with which the US government offers glib explanations which are never substantiated points in the other direction from Moscow however.

KUALA LUMPUR: INTELLIGENCE analysts in the United States had already concluded that Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air missile, and that the Ukrainian government had had something to do with it.

This corroborates an emerging theory postulated by local investigators that the Boeing 777-200 was crippled by an air-to-air missile and finished off with cannon fire from a fighter that had been shadowing it as it plummeted to earth.

In a damning report dated Aug 3, headlined “Flight 17 Shoot-Down Scenario Shifts”, Associated Press reporter Robert Parry said “some US intelligence sources had concluded that the rebels and Russia were likely not at fault and that it appears Ukrainian government forces were to blame”.

This new revelation was posted on GlobalResearch, an independent research and media organisation.

Continue reading the report which after detailing the Kiev’s denials goes on to reveal information even more damning for the Ukraine and United states military and intelligence agencies. The Malaysians have even gone so far as to suggest the USA deliberately withheld important information because it would have undermined their attempts to blame Russia. Mainstream media in the west has of course not printed or broadcast a word on this sensational story.

Thanks to Michael St Mark for joining in the fun by pointing out that while the Russians had produced their evidence pointing (inconclusively) to Kiev, the USA had produced nothing.

You may remember than when challenged by American reporters on the evidence Obama had claimed, a US State Department representative referred the press conference attendees to ‘social media’.

actually the timeline of events immediately after the disaster followed the pattern laid down in the CIA playbook. Straight away after a major disaster, the US government blames an organisation it wants to discredit. This grabs headlines around the world and makes an impression on minds. Much later when the full details emerge the case is far less clear cut but of course the propaganda game is over by then. The problem is the USA has pulled this stunt so many times nobody believes them any more, except for a few half wit bloggers who never stop to think before hitting they keyboard to announce that they have special insight and do not need to wait for evidence.

There is still no absolute detailed proof of what happened and probably never will be. There is however enough evidence to establish what did not happen.

I’d like to think my critic is a big enough man to come by now and admit he was wrong and I was right (but certainly not right wing – I’m not the authoritarian idiot that tries to shout down people who hold different opinions) and that in future he will respect my superior intelligence.

I will not be holding my breath however.

The first comment in the thread, from Mark, a visitor, cites some claims made by the American government about alleged admissions of responsibility. Don’t be misled by this blatant attempt to undermine my post, the claim made by a rogue rebel leader in east Ukraine who thought a Ukrainian military aircraft had been shot down and was trying to make a name for himself was quickly proved to be false. All the points so far made by people determined to support the lies of the warmongering American President and his lackey have been comprehensively dealt with and for ease of reference are tagged mh17. So from that you may assume Mark is too dim witted or too arrogant to do a bit of research, the answers are all there, he just refuses to believe them because they don’t fit his prejudices.

Ryanair To Let Passenger Fly Planes?

As the recession grinds on the travel business is increasingly hard hit. Holiday firms are going bust at a rate of about one a week, even cutting prices below cost is not encouraging cash strapped punters to book holidays and rumours are flying around suggesting several major airlines are threatened with bankruptcy.

Among all this mayhem there is one success story however. Budget airline Ryanair go from strength to strength thanks to their ruthless commitment to efficiency and radical cost cutting measures. Everybody has heard of Ryanair’s £1 flights but few who have not travelled with them know about the £500 in flight snacks and the £20 charge to visit the toilet while airborne. Who among us could fail to recognize the sheer business genius of offering passengers cheap one way fares to popular destinations then making them sign over their home before they can get on a return flight.

Ryanair’s latest cost cutting scheme is an example of the kind of radical thinking we need get the global economy out of recession. The airline plans to abolish the role of co pilot and let trolley dollies fly the planes.

A spokesman for the company told Boggart Blog, “The co – pilot is only needed during take off and landing and as cabin crew cannot serve drinks or sell duty free while those manoeuvres are in progress their time is wasted. We plan to give stewards and stewardesses full training on and make sure they are earning their salary all the time they are in the air. Paying people to sit on their arses is no way to run a business.

According to a corporate press release the cabin crew will be given access via their laptops and an internet link to a flight simulator game and will not be allowed to take the controls of a real plane until they have reached level seven.

When asked about further rumours that the company is planning to make all flight crew redundant and let passengers fly themselves our contact said, “This is not definite yet but is a very real possibility. Most of the business of flying is done by computers these days so paying some bastard a big fat salary to make announcements over the PA system is becoming a bit of an expensive luxury. Flying a plane is not big and its not clever. Pilots have far too high an opinion of themselves. Anyone who can drive a smart phone can fly a 747.

Apple Computer, makers of iPhone, the market leading smart phone have announced a business partnership with Ryanair and revealed they are ready to launch three apps for wannabe do it yourself flyers, iFly, iLand and iHit-turbulence-and-crap-myself.

News From The Air Strike

As the effects of the BA strike start to bit and the Easter holiday travel rush looms large we are not all that impressed by the pledge from BA senior managers that they will keep the planes, if not the Aspidistra, flying.

A BA spokesperson, Anna Pologgy, who asked not to be named, told Boggart Blog in an exclusive interview, “Obviously we regret any inconvenience or anxiety this strike causes our passengers but let’s be realistic, trolley dollies and camp cabin boys do not fly planes. We can fly without them, people flying to European destinations can manage without a meal or drink for a couple of hours without coming to any harm. All we have to do for passengers on long haul flights is get ground staff who work for contractors to stock the planes with snacks and soft drinks and let passengers help themselves from the galleys.

We put it to the spokesperson that there was a strong likelihood passengers helping themselves would have a bad outcome.

“Nonsense,” she replied, “ situations like that are what bring British people together. The morning flight to Phuket took off three hours ago, they should be passing over the Red Sea just about now and I would bet they’re doing The Lambeth Walk in the aisles and having a great ti….”

And we break into that item to go to our news desk because there is a very big story just breaking.

Yes, thank you very much indeed, we are in fact hearing some very worrying news. Initial reports are saying the British Airways morning flight to Phuket will be making an emergency landing in Dubai. It is feared there has been some kind of terrorist action on board the 747. Wait … we are getting an update on that now … the latest news is that there has been an incident on the aircraft but terrorists were not involved. We are learning now this was the first BA long haul flight with strike breaking serve – yourself catering arrangements. What appears to have caused the problem is as passengers were helping themselves to drinks and sandwiches a fight broke out passengers in economy found while they only had Spam or cheese and branston sandwiches those in Business and First Class had smoked salmon bagels, roast pheasant wraps and Kobe beef baguettes.

Monarch In Trouble?

It is almost New Year and politicians are queueing like charter flights over Palma in July to tell us that the economy has turned the corner, the millions Al Gore has made from carbon trading have prevented carbon pollution destroying the planet, the Chinese are happy to take monopoly money for the sytuff they sell us and happy days ae here again … or will be soon.

The Boggart Blog resident bookie informs us that on the betting exchanges a lot of money is being bet on Monarch being the next airline to go bust. Get your bets down if you can afford a bet, on the otherhand if you have already bet your holiday money on Monarch flying you to a chosen destination in 2010 it would perhaps be wise to cancel now and write off the cancellation fee.

Budget airline Ryanair have developed a wonderful business plan to be the recession. They will fly you anywhere in the world for £1 but will charge £500 to use the lav if you need an in flight waz or possibly more for a poo.

We often notice how news stories that come into the office complement each other, one of the advantages of making the news up perhaps. Yesterday we reported on Americans’ use of copious amounts of toilet toilet, paper today we predict that having persuaded passengers to pay for use of the toilet they will come up with the idea of charging £1 for every sheet of bog roll used. On a flight to New York, Miami, L.A. or any major U.S. airport the airline could clean up.
