Liz Truss has made the intellectual case for Conservative Values

Yesterday we reported on a speech made by Transport Secretary Liz Truss in which she attacked the ‘woke’ agenda of far left policies on race and multicuklturalism, climate and environment, immigration and minorities, free speech and gender issues and said the government must defend ‘conservative values.’ Speaking to The centre For Policy Studies, Truss gave the impression that she was laying down a challenge to Boris Johnson’s weak leadership and conversion from his libertarian instincts to politically correct positions on most controversial issues.

Many people suggest this move to leftist authoritarian positions is due to the influence of the Prime Minister’s laughably ‘woke girlfriend Carrie (Miss Piggy) Symonds but this blog, because we like to float outrageous conspiracy theories sometimes, has speculated that boris was somehow given a brain transplant while in a medically induced coma while allegeldly suffering from COVID-19 early this year.

Today CapX has this on Ms. Truss’ speech which shows that we are not the only ones who interpreted its populism as the first move in a bid to sooner or later succeed Boris in Downing Street:

Liz Truss has parked a big – and definitely not pink – tank on Labour’s lawn. In a barnstorming speech at the Centre for Policy Studies yesterday, the Equalities Minister said she would “reject the approach taken by the left, captured as they are by identity politics, loud lobby groups and the idea of ‘lived experience’”, and set out a new philosophy based on “the core principles of freedom, choice, opportunity, and individual humanity and dignity”.

It was noticeable, however, that in a lengthy speech on equality she only used the word ‘feminism’ once – and that was to repudiate “pink bus” feminism, “where women are left to fix sexism and campaign for childcare”. For Conservatives like me, who also consider themselves feminists, it was frustrating. Because this was a powerfully feminist speech, which fundamentally rejected the idea that being a woman should be an impediment to success.

It has never made sense to me that a party steeped in ideas of freedom and empowerment is not naturally seen as the party of feminism. Conservatives like Truss shouldn’t be so squeamish about using the word. Google Blacklists Conservative Websites in New Censorship Move

Google search has blacklisted numerous major conservative websites by removing them from results in what appears to be a major new censorship purge.

Breitbart, the Daily Caller, Infowars, Human Events and Red State are all missing when a user searches directly for those websites on Google.com.

Some of the sites have small link from their Wikipedia bio on the right hand side, but are absent from main search results.

Searches for direct headlines from the same outlets also return either nothing or links to corporate media news stories.

The fact that the purge has happened less than four months before the presidential election once again makes a mockery of Google’s claim to be non-bias.

Back in 2018, Google CEO Sundar Pichai responded to claims that staff had gamed search results to display a pro-immigration bias by asserting, “We do not bias our products to favor any political agenda.”

During a subsequent House Judiciary Committee, Pichai again claimed that Google’s policy was non-partisan.

With Google apparently blacklisting a raft of major conservative websites, those claims now appear to be farcical.

We shouldn’t be too shocked however given that during Google’s first all-staff meeting following the 2016 election, the company vowed to do everything in its power to stop Trump winning again.

In last week’s article I discussed the issue of American “balkanization” and the rapid migration of conservatives and moderates from large population centers and states that are becoming militant in their progressive ideology. In my home state of Montana there has been a surge of people trying to escape the chaos and oppression of leftist states. Some are here because of the pandemic and the harsh restrictions they had to endure during the first lockdowns. Others are here because they can’t stand the hostility of identity politics, cancel culture and race riots. Either way, they are fleeing places with decidedly leftist influences.

Uprooting and moving to an entirely new place is not an easy thing to do, especially in the middle of a pandemic. For many people, such an idea would have been unthinkable only a few years ago. Believe me, moving to a place like the Rocky Mountain Redoubt is not an easy transition for most. Hopefully these people understand that they will have to make extensive preparations for the rough winter and be ready to work hard in the spring and summer months to survive. When Progressives Accuse Conservatives and Libertarians of Wanting To Destroy The Planet

I often see left wing activists, eco – loons and ‘progressives’ around the web claiming that their critics, people who are sceptical of the ‘science’ that predicts Warmageddon any day now accuse anyone who challenges them or points out the economic and social lunacy of demanding we stop using carbon based fuels immediately of wanting to destroy the planet.

One has to wonder why followers of the cult of Saint Greta Thunberg think destroying the economy of the civilized world, throwing billions of people out of work and causing millions to die of starvation would be preferable to seeing a few thousand people a year die of the effects of pollution were the scare stories about Carbon Dioxide true. (They’re not, and if you are not aware of why they are not, your scioentifioc education is sadly lacking.

Another assertion that crops up time and again is that climate change sceptics somehow believe CO2 pollution does not affect them but only affects poor people. Firstly, CO2 is not a polutant. Secondly, while pollution is a serious problem in some places  it doesn’t affect sceptics as badly as it affects poorer people who vote Labour in Britain, Democrat in the USA, and socialist or leftist parties around the world – and if the left understood more clearly why this is so, they could be many times more effective at implementing the right environmental policies to deal with the problems.

Let me show you what I mean with the help of an American AGW sceptic site . Here’s a photo of Los Angeles on a clear day from 1990.

Smog like that used to be a huge problem, and that smog is not carbon dioxide (which is a colourless gas,) but probably a high concentration of nitrous oxide along with sulphates and other noxious gases. But today, Los Angeles looks like this:

The difference between those two photos is obvious. A lot of environmental policy changes were needed to get from point A to point B, and they worked. Mission accomplished.

Now, lets compare that to a photo of Chattanooga, Tennessee, from 1990:

Other than 28 years worth of advances in camera technology, Chattanooga hasn’t changed much. In fact Chattanooga was considered one of the cleanest cities in America in 1990, and still is today. The environmental policies that were absolutely necessary in Los Angeles weren’t needed at all in Chattanooga.

One of the problems the left have is that their collectivist mindset demands one-size-fits-all solutions because they want everybody to be the same. However if you ask any fashion conscious woman how well do one size fits all solutions work in clothing, the answer will probably be too profane for a public forum.

One of the reasons socialism always fails is that for all their screeching to the contrary, socialists cannot abide diversity either at local or national national level. Thus we are seeing theEuropean Union falling apart as a result of its attempts to politically and financially integrate all its diverse member states (from industrial power house Germany, population 85 million,) to the island nation of Malta (population 350,000) with its fishing and tourism based economy.And we are seeing Britain (now out of the EU,) and other member states torn apart as divisions, between north and south, east and west, city and rural communities go unaddressed because the broad left, the neo – liberal, globalist consensus imposes national and global policies to problems that require local solutions.

The result of trying to pass national legislation to solve local problems is that you’re going to get a lot of push back from people who don’t have the problem you have. Moreover, they don’t want to spend money solving a problem they don’t have.

If I had, now how does the song go?, “A mark, a yen, a buck or a pound,” for every time   I’ve read ridiculous statements like “Conservatives hate clean air and water” in response to their opposition to proposed environmental legislation that would shut down entire industries, I would perhaps have accumulated enough to take a holiday in some unspoiled island paradise in The Caribbean – maybe. But what for.There’s plenty of unspoiled countryside around where I live in north Lancashire and the air is clean. Yet less than 50 miles away away in Manchester,  Liverpool or Leeds the usual big city pollution problems apply

How can the left reasonably expect someone who can look outside and sees a lot of green, clean air, clean water, and a sustainably-developed/ undeveloped/unspoiled/unpolluted woodland, hillsides and valleys, fast  flowing streams in all directions that they should pay more in taxes to fix problems that in most places don’t need fixing?And how incompetent would a government have to be to spend shitloads of taxpayers money in order to provide a nationwide solution to a problem that only exists in a few localities.

How can you reasonably expect someone who has zero need for more regulations, more constraints on their freedom,  which would be completely unnecessary where they live, to be happy to pay the extra taxes and accept the curtailment of personal liberty?

Think it through. If a footballer breaks a leg during a game you don’t sent the whole team to hospital to have the broken bone set in a cast. If a kid eats something rotten and gets a gut infection you don’t give the whole school antibiotics.

The way left wing thinking works is like the guy with the shittiest yard in the street telling everyone else they should be doing more to keep the neighborhood nice.

In reality, most of the country, my country, your country, any country, is perfectly fine from an environmental impact standpoint. You wouldn’t pay someone to mow your lawn if your lawn didn’t need to be mowed. You wouldn’t pay a mechanic to fix your car if it wasn’t broken. And you wouldn’t be happy if government regulators came and said “Listen, we’re going to raise your taxes because people with overgrown lawns and inoperable cars can’t be arsed sorting their problems out.”

So, on the same token, why should communities who already do a good job taking care of the environment where they live be taxed and burdened with regulations to solve a problem they don’t have?

If the left understood this and focused environmental policy at the state and local levels, instead of the national and global, they would not be facing collapse here, in the USA, Europe etc. Why am I writing advice for the left when I am a libertarian you might well ask. It’s because I know I’m safe, the left never learn because they can never accept they are wrong. They can never admit those who oppose them might have a better understanding of a problem. Even now, after suffering a crushing defeat in the General Election two months ago, the UK Labour Party cannot acknowledge that working class voters abandoned then because they are perceived as out of touch with ordinary people, obsessed with minority issues like gay and trans rights, with pandering to Islamic extremists and with exporting more British jobs to China, India and other emerging economies in pursuit of unrealistic and self destructive targets for reducing CO2 emissions.

Conservatives and libertarians don’t hate clean air, green spaces or a healthy environment, but they are realists. Instead of trying to change the climate and atmosphere of the whole planet they focus on what they can change. We can save the environment and civilisation if we do it little by little.

A comedy club in London that slapped a blanket ban on Conservatives in the aftermath of the UK election did so in the name of “inclusiveness.”

Yes, really.

Promoter Mark O’Neil reacted to the leftist Labour Party’s crushing defeat by tweeting “we’re literally Hitler now,” and asserting that Conservative performers were no longer welcome at his Comedy-by-Bow event.

“Be aware that if you are a Tory voter you are no longer welcome to perform here,” he wrote on Facebook. “You can have your own ‘free speech zones’ somewhere else, because there will not be a platform for you here.”

“The values of the night are of tolerance, support, and inclusiveness,” he added. “If you put your cross next to the Conservative box you have proven that you do not hold those values and you are not welcome here.”

In other words, O’Neil sought to promote inclusivity by intentionally excluding people for having a different opinion.

He was later forced to apologize after The Galvanisers Union which hosted the open mic night “parted ways” with O’Neil, meaning ironically he was the one who got deplatformed.

The mere use of the term “inclusiveness” as justification for an act that deliberately sought to exclude a huge chunk of the population once again highlights how progressives have cannibalized the English language.

The words “tolerance” and “diversity” are also routinely used by those who are almost always the most intolerant of diversity of opinion.

Election Latest: Nobody Knows What’s Going On.

We are all suffering from news fatigue in the alternative news and blogging community, this dull, personality deficient, anodyne election campaign, with the liveliest and most interesting candidates kept under wraps by party managers lest they say or do something that might trigger snowflakes or in some way show they are human beings.

The Conservatives have lost momentum because they were afraid to let Boris be Boris, Labour;s political vehicle, a shiny red Ferarri under Tony Blair, and a clapped out Volkswagen Beetle under Ed Milliband, have been turned into a rusty old bike by Jeremy Corbyn, whose back-to-the-1930 policies have been about as popular as a dose of clap in a brothel. than that its has been boring. Deadly dull and uninspiring, in fact the most interesting thing is the way Lib Dem leaders Jo Swinson’s head seems to get larger with every TV appearance. But other Al least there will be a bit of excitement if Ms Swinson’s head explodes before election day. The question is will ballot paper splattered with Swinson brain tissue count as Liberal Deomcrat votes or spoiled ballot papers.

The Daily Telegraph gleefully reported today, “New poll shows Conservative lead down to eight points.” Some readers might find this surprising as the Telegraph is n=know for being a conservative – supporting newspaper. But the headline was not the only surprising thing about the story, and perhaps the most surprising things of all were what the report did not mention; that the same polling organisation, Savanta – ComRes published three polls last week, showing respectively eight point, sx point and ten point leads for the conservatives; and that also published to day in The Observer Sunday newspaper, sister publication of the heavily left wing The Guardian, which carries the story on their website, a poll carried out by Opinium gives the Conservatives a fifteen point lead.

So it looks as if we may be heading for a big Conservative majority, or a small conservative majority, or a hung parliament or a Labour / SNP coalition. T.he Boggart Blog bookie’s advice? Don’t bet on anything

One quickly tires of Labour Party candidates and their Jew – hating supporters claiming, every time an election is in the offinge, the “The Wicked Conservatiovs plan to sell the NHS to private enterprise. They’ve been at it again throughout the current election cycle, and of course there is no more truth in the claims than there ever was before. But the lefties, as they glefully point at any conservatives whose heads appears over the parapet, “Witches, burn them,” that the Labour government, between 1997 and 2010 under the traitor and war criminal Tony Blair privatised much of the NHS. (Our local super-hospital where my wife was recently murdered by bureaucratic institutionalised incompetence was built by one of Blair’s Private Public Finance initiatives and is now owned by a subsidiary of HSBC, making it, perhaps, an NHSBC hospital.

So those leftie claims that the “evil conservatives” planned to sell off our ‘precious NHS’ qyickly start to look rather empty. And that is before we have considered the detail of Labour’s plans for the NHS.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn made the repeated accusation that Boris Johnson’s government, if re-elected with a majority in parliament, will see the NHS to American healthcare companies as part of a free trade deal informally discussed between Johnson and US President Donald Trump. Corbyn and his Stalinist bagman John McDonnell, along with other party figures and left leaning joursnlists in mainstream media continue to repeat this in spite of both men offering assurances that the NHS was not “for sale” and the document Corbyn and his cronies claimed revealled a secret deal containing no evidence that any such deal had been discussed.

Corbyn’s attempts to expose his imaginary Anglo – American conspiracy by producing a 451-page document “proving the NHS is for sale” during a press conference on November 27 were debunked when it was revealed that the NHS was only mentioned four times, with US officials only once asking about the UK position on our ‘health insurance’ system”. The other times the UK Health Servive was mentioned were all in the context of allowing US pharmaceutical companies access to the NHS for their products.

Despite this, the stunt has caused quite a storm, but it can be revealed how Labour were actually the first to float the idea of privatising health services in the UK.

Tony Blair took office in 1997, with the promise of removing “internal markets” in the NHS – the idea that Health Authorities ceased to run their hospitals, but “purchased” care from their own or other authorities hospitals.

However, during his second term, Mr Blair announced his administrations intention to strengthen links with the private sector as part of his plan to “modernise” the NHS. Driving Labour’s planned reforms were factors including the rising costs of medical technology and medicines, the desire to increase standards and “patient choice”, an ageing population, and a desire to control government expenditure.

It was these plans, now more than ten years old, that Corbyn referred to in his docdgy dossier on plans to sell the NHS.

Corbyn’s stunt caused a storm in an eggcup on social media as the usual suspects jumped on the bandwagon to accuse Boris and his party of planning to sell the NHS, but it is widely known that Labour were actually the first to float the idea of privatising health services in the UK, although Margaret Thatcher’s conservative government in the 1980s introduced the idea of an internal market (whatever that means’) to the NHS and also encouraged the outsourceing of certain services such as janitorial duties and waste disposal.

A Labour government under Tony Blair took office in 1997, and quickly introduced the concept of PFI, Private Finance Initiativs (also termed Private – Public partnerships,) the idea that Health Authorities ceased to own their hospitals, but hired them from private companies as a managed facility. Many left wing commentators were horrified and dismissed the idea as a ‘licence to print money’ for the private half of the partnerhip.

In 2006, Blair welcomed 11 private healthcare providers, including private health insurance firm Bupa, into this “NHS family,” in a bid to drive up the quality of services provided. Blair made his and Labour’s intentions clear in 2006 when he said “By 2008 we could have as much as 40 perrcent of acute operations done in the private sector being done under the NHS banner.”

The network’s spokesman, Mark Smith, admitted the changing healthcare market meant the independent sector was increasingly looking to the NHS for business. He said some companies had “specific targets for a large number of patients to be NHS patients in the future because undoubtedly things are changing. Wherever people are treated – in a traditional hospital, an independent hospital, a new treatment centre or in the community – it is the protection afforded to them of tax-funded healthcare, according to need and not ability to pay, which makes them NHS patients.

Nice try at wrigging out of Labour’s committment to privatising the NHS but between 2004 and 2014, demand for NHS services increased rapidly and hospital admissions increased by 32 percent, outpatient attendances by 17 percent, primary care consultations by 25 percent and community care activity by 14 percent. The only way the massive, clumsy, centralised bureaucracy that runs service could cope was by outsourcing more work. Research carried out on behalf of the GMB trade union, which represents many NHS workers, shows 15billion of health service contracts have been handed to private companies since 2015. And yet the service is still failing to cope with increased demand.

So far in 2019 £3.3billion, or 63 percent, of contracts have been given to organisations in the private sector. So though Labour Party spokespersons have not admitted as much in public, these figures prove that their manifesto committments to increase spending on health must include further outsourcing of work to the private sector. Far too much of what the organisation does has already been handed to the private sector for the position to be reversed. So Blair’s plan to put more work out to the private sector, carried on by the Conservative . Liberal Democrat coalition from 2010 and by the Conservatives from 2015 is still in place. And it has to be said that the NHS, in permanent crisis now, would have collapsed without it.

Why Are Left Wing Millenial Students Such Nasty, Self Righteous Bigots

Read a story in the Telegraph this morning under the headline:

When Olivia Lever, a young Conservative, went looking for student accommodation, she couldn’t have imagined the reception that she would receive from one household.

Arriving at the flat, there was a sign reading “F— THE TORIES” and, once inside, she found similar literature insulting Boris Johnson and Brexit, and a poster of Che Guevara. Only one of the housemates made the effort to meet her, and later on she received a text from another reading:

“I saw you are the leader of the young Conservative party in uni and you support Brexit. We are a very Left-wing house and I think there could be potential clash”.

When Olivia posted it on Twitter, she received mixed responses, some sympathetic and others not.

Maybe the incident could have been put down as a one-off, but it is in fact part of a sinister trend in the rental market, student and otherwise, where some households have been vetting potential tenants for their political views. Living solo in London, I was oblivious to this phenomenon until August this year, when I’d written for this newspaper about dating apps. I’d complained they’d become too Left-wing, with prejudice rife against Conservatives and Brexiteers.

So it’s not the housing renal market that is hostile to Brexiteers, it’s leftie losers who have to live in house shares because they can’t afford their own place. The headline is misleading, the story is about what nasty little bigots ‘woke’ students really are. Having some experience of this problem because some of my business associates have property in Lancaster, a town with a large student population and we have talked about what, if anything, can be done about it and failed to arrive at a satiosfactory answer.

I know from reading and being involved in many internet that I am not the only one to have noticed  Lefties in general, and Leftie Students in particular are generally self – righteous, humourless. narrow minded, bigots. They appear to lack tolerance, empathy and respect for peoples’ right to hold differing opinions, and cling onto approved scripts on how to think, look and act.

It is a brave student who will stand up to the Politically Correct Thought Police who dominate the university Student Union, when these people can de-platform eminent academics like Germain Greer, who has never been know to express right wing sympathies, Richard Dawkins who is, as far as I know, non – political but has spoken frankly about aspects of Islamic belief which should be unacceptable to supporters of equal rights and free speech or Milo Yiannoupolis, who is openly gay but whose unashamedly conservative views annul his sexual minority privileges with the student left .

I’m a classical liberal, not so long ago a slightly left of centre position, but now declared by the authoritarian advocates of Cultural Marxism to be ‘far right.’ I am also, unashamedly a Brexiteer, yet I am educated, afluent and middle class. We have seen over the past three and a half years how Remainers and Lefties ridicule and abuse those on ‘the other side’, dismissing us as ignorant, uneducated, xenophobic “Little Englanders.”

Ironic really because these superior types only show they are, for all their professed love of equality and human rights and their reverence for “higher education,” (aka brainwashing,) not sufficiently well read to understand the term Little Englander refers to people who opposed the expansionism of the establishment during the nineteenth century colonial era. Challenge the remainers however, and you will find people gang up on you, call you racist, sexist, Islampohobic, misogynistic, and try to get you banned from the site.

We really are in the first stages of a 1984 scenario, with its parallels to Communism and The Stasi.

As former Labour Party deputy leader Tom Watson rode off into the sunset, a good man but a discredited figure because he was foolish enough to let his hatred of the elite persuade him to believe the incredible allegations of a fantasist and attention seeker about a paedophile ring operating in the Whitehall political village, (there was credible evidence to support some of the allegations, but to believe all the alleged paedophies abouse the same boy was incredible,) other Labour MPs and former MPs who have resigned from the party due to the rampant anti – Seimitism that has infected the party since it was hijacked by the far left, lined up to echo Watson’s parting words to voters: Please don’t vote Labour while Corbyn and his extremist supporters lead the party, the working class and all Britons will be safer with the Conservatives in government.

Corbyn and his cronies are of course frantically denying that their support for organisations like Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, The Muslim Brotherhood, the Provisional IRA, and others (these misguided fools have never encountered a terrorist organisation they didn’t like,) and their rabid hatred of anything to do with Israel. However, the evidence indicates the opposite.

The Labour leader was asked about the front page of the Jewish Chronicle, which urged non-Jews to vote against him because of Labour’s anti-Semitism. It is ironic that while Britain’s Jewish communities have always been regarded as stalwart supporters of the Labour Party in recent decades, since the era of traitor and war criminal Tony Blair’s leadership the party has aligned itself with Islamic extremist groups

When Corbyn answer the question about the Jewish Chronicle story, he said: “Anti-Semitism is a poison and an evil in our society. Any form of racism is a poison and evil in society.

“I have spent my whole life fighting against racism. I will die an anti-racist. I want every community to feel safe and supported in this country – the Jewish community, Muslim community, Hindu community, any other community from any faith or any other part of the world.”

Those words show how out of touch with the situation in the country, he sees no prolem in trying to claim he supports Jewish communities, while simultaneously demonstrating his support for organisations which feature an ambition to complete the genocide of jewish people in their agenda. Only an idiot could fail to be aware of the incompatibility of those two positions. Mr Corbyn said that his party had “confronted the issue” [of anti Semitism] and “suspended or expelled members” responsible.

He added: “There are many Jewish people in this country who are members of Labour Party, supporters of the Labour Party, work with the Labour Party and they do not share the views that have been put forward on the front page of the Jewish Chronicle.

“I regret the Jewish Chronicle has chosen to print that.”

He also discussed Tom Watson’s decision to step down as deputy leader.

Mr Corbyn added: “We get along personally very well, we always have, and we chat about lots of things.

Former Labour MP John Woodcock said he would be voting Conservative rather than putting Corbyn and his extremist supporters saying, “We pleaded with our friends in the Labour Party to face up to this choice, not to leave it until too late. Now all of that to an extent is water under the bridge, but we have arrived in a campaign where one of two people are going to be prime minister.”

Mr Woodcock, who was suspended from the Labour Party in April 2018, announced he would not stand in the general election on Monday as he and his partner are expecting a baby.

He added: “The choice to keep Jeremy Corbyn away from Downing Street, to stop him getting his hands on the levers of national security and defence has to be to vote Conservative in this election and that’s what I’ll be doing.”

Former Labour shadow minister Tom Harris also said he’d be backing the Tories, saying: “Like Ian Austin I will be far happier with a Boris Johnson government.”

This morning former minister Ian Austin followed Tom Watson’s lead and urged “decent, traditional voters” to back Boris Johnson in the upcoming general election.

He claimed that “Jeremy Corbyn is totally unfit to lead this country” and Labour’s economic policies “would leave our country worse off”. In fact the loonytoons economic mafifesto announced by Mr McDonnell this morning would bankrupt Britain and cause the collapse of the economy.

Austin, former Minister for the West Midlands in Gordon Brown’s government, who resigned the Labour whip in February, admitted: “I’m not a Tory, this isn’t where I want to be.”

Austin the adopted son of a Jewish refugee who escaped the Holocaust, cited the words of the Jewish Chronicle that the “scandal of anti-Semitism that has poisoned the Labour Party”.

Responding to the Jewish Chronicle story, Labour’s shadow chancellor (finance chief) John McDonnell, now de facto number two in the organisation, said the party’s handling of allegations of anti – Semitism within the party had been rapid and ruthless. Well McDonnell has ruthlessly dealt with party members who have complained about the party’s links with anti – Semitic groups

Lucinda Berger, the Liberal Democrat candidate, a former Labour MP who quit the party over the anti – Semitism issue, said Mr McDonnell’s comments were “sickening on so many levels”.

She said: “In the last week alone you’ve selected candidates who have engaged in antisemitic behaviour, expressed support for organisations that call for violent action against Jewish people and their property, and you are being investigated by thei European Human Rights Court for racsm @EHRC. https://twitter.com/bbcpolitics/status/1192412863555457026 …”

Not a good day for Corbyn or Labour then.

The Tory Collaborators Working With EU To Stop Brexit Exposed

Boris Johnson was ridiculed by the predominantly leftist mainstream media when he talked of collaborators in the Conservative Party working with the EU to prevent the UK leaving the bloc on October 31. People who though he was right and were brave enough to say so were predictably called conspiracy theorists.

While Remain supporters in the UK still scream that a ‘tiny’ country like Britain (tiny in the sens of having the fifth largest economy and being in the top twenty five out of 200 by population,) cannot survive outside the smothering embrace of the European Union bureaucracy.

The case is that the EU is failing economically. Around half the remaining twenty seven member states after Brexit will be economic basket cases, and even the mighty German economy is struggling. The EU cannot afford to lose Britain’s economic contribution. But self interested British politicians and bureaucrats, with their eyes on a lucrative EU job, (former Labour leader Neil Kinnock was modestly well off before he and his wife landed sinecures in the European Commission, now they are multi millionaires,) have now been exposed as having worked with top EU officials to block both a no deal brexit and the negotiation of an acceptable deal.
