Rebellion: Angry Welshman Tears Sheeting Off Shelves In Lockdown Protest

A video out of Wales shows a furious shopper in a branch of Tesco tearing away plastic sheeting used to cover “non-essential” goods while decrying a COVID lockdown that is robbing people of “basic human needs.”

As we highlighted yesterday, photos began emerging of bedding and other supermarket items deemed “non-essential” being covered with plastic sheeting to prevent people in Wales from buying them.

Now a new video has emerged of an irate Welshman tearing down similar sheeting in a branch of Tesco in Bangor last night.

“Since when have clothes been exempt?, rip the f***ers off… kids’ f***ing clothes, it is a disgrace,” said 28-year-old Gwilym Owen as he tore away the sheeting.

“All you need to do is don’t comply and take them off,” he added as he continued to remove the protective covering.

Australia The First Advanced Nation To Go Full On Fascist – COVID19 Vaccinations Will Be Mandatory.

Many of us who contribute to new media news or write independent blogs have been warning since March that all the lockdown, mask wearing and  social distancing rules imposed by governments as part of the ‘response’ to the wholly manufactured Coronavirus crisis were in fact leading towards the suspension of all our rights and liberties and the implementation of authoritarian rule.

It now seems that among the economically developed nations Australia is leading the way towards fascism; from arresting surfers on empty beaches, to telling people they can’t even go out jogging, to police detaining mothers for merely letting their children play on citizen owned public playgrounds.  We were dismissed as ‘conspiracy theorists’ when warnings were raised that such authoritarian measures would quickly lead to  forced vaccination programmes the moment a vaccine that does not kill too many people is available, despite the very serious safety concerns about using vaccines that have been rushed through development and clinical testing, or the various potential long-term side effect ‘unknowns’… well,it’s happening:

Australians are likely to face mandatory coronavirus vaccinations if Prime Minister Scott Morrison gets his wish.

The nation is a step closer to gaining access to a vaccine, with the Federal Government securing an international deal to produce a vaccine frontrunner locally if trials succeed.

If that happens, Mr Morrison expects Australians will have to undergo mandatory vaccination.

Other developed nations will withouit doubt quickly follow on the road to authoritarianism, given as we’ve detailed we’re already to the point of colleges, schools, and office spaces in many instances requiring as a condition of return to campus or work space a COVID-19 test, or in some cases individuals are subject to weekly tests. Based on the trend, these current testing requirements will seamlessly switch to vaccination requirements, as will apparently likely happen in Australia. And all this is justified by the need to save us from a disease that infects only a tiny percentage of the population, and only kills a tiny percentage of those it infects. And of the peoplw who have died, over 90% are both old and chronically sick anyway.

“There are always exemptions for any vaccine on medical grounds, but that should be the only basis,” he added, clearly already attempting to bat down instances of vaccine objectors and other individual liberty or religious-based arguments.

Determined to destroy what little credibility they had left in the eyes of the public the Schutzstaffel division of the UK police, who you may remember, were conspicuous by their invisibility when reports of knife gangs and acid attacks topped the news everyday, are suddenly swarming all over us, as they arrest middle aged men for walking their dogs, little old ladies for buying “non essential items at the supermarket, and families for enjoying picnics in the countryside on a sunny day.

Yes, the thick, sweaty coppers are in their element as they harass ordinary people for doing completely inoffensive things.

Bedfordshire police triggered an avalanche of contemptuous mockery after warning residents that their country picnics would be raided by jackbooted bully – boys tasked with enforcing the authoritarian, fascistic measures introduced ostensibly to slow the spread of Covid-19.

The police force propaganda department tried to defend themselves on Twitter,  announcing that they would be on the prowl for unruly locals trying to enjoy the nice weather outside. This only made the pompous Plod look more ridiculous

Let Children Starve Rather Than Eat Meat Say Veggie Fascists

 

Pupils at a new school are only allowed to eat vegetarian lunches and are banned from bringing in their own food. The veggie policies at The Swan School in Summertown, Oxford, have been criticised by parents, one of whom said her daughter ‘came home hungry’ after the academy opened on Monday.

The Oxford state school has a completely vegetarian canteen and pupils have no alternative but to eat the hot meal on offer, although there are a couple of meat or fish options available for snacks during break time.

ANOTHER Mum who did not want to be named told tabloid paper The Sun: ‘The only thing about this school is the vegetarian food – my daughter came home today very hungry. I’ve heard that a lot of children were very hungry as well – there should be option at dinner time [to] eat meat, I’ve never known a school to be like this.’

Options on the Swan School’s menu include lentil lasagne, minted pea and feta frittata and Quorn sausage and potato bake. Headteacher Kay Wood said the main reason to serve vegetarian meals is to serve better quality for the same money, reduce carbon footprint and allow students of all faiths to sit together

Parents were made aware of the vegetarian policy prior to admission and the menu is believed to be a first for an Oxford state school.

She stressed the decision to provide vegetarian meals ‘isn’t a judgement of people who eat meat or an attempt to make our students vegetarian.’

Ms Wood added: ‘Packed lunches are not banned because the students might bring in meat – we don’t allow them because we want all the children and staff to eat together and engage at lunchtime. Which suggests to us they are as dead set against individualism as they are against healthy lunches for teenagers. Authoritarian wankers.

But Veggie fascism is not confined to Britain. In France, a new law has just been passed requiring all schools to offer at least one fully vegetarian lunch
day per week. But how long to we think it will stay at one per week? Until Monsieur Macron next thinks a bit more virtue signalling with help prop up his abysmal poll ratings?

Smoke, Drink And Eat Whatever You Want: Norway’s Public Health Minister

For years we have been lectured and harangued by the bansturbators, (that is, the people who get off on stopping us doing things that give us pleasure,) their fingers wagging furiously in our faces as they tell us smoking will kill us, even looking at an alcpholic drink will destroy our livrers, a pinch of salt will cause heart attacks, strokes and acute asplaxification of the nurdlers, a cream cake or two will make us obese, a steak dinner or a burger will give us cancer, and driving our cars will destroy the planet. So it was a pleasure to come across a news item about a politician who believes adults can be trusted to behave sensibly and left make their own choices in life.

Norway’s new public health minister, Sylvi Listhaug is such a politician, she believes that adults don’t need the constant lectures and admonishments from government about what they put into their bodies – telling Norway’s state broadcaster NRK that “people should be allowed to smoke, drink and eat as much red meat as they like,” according to a report in the snowflakes favourite journal, the New York Times.

“The government may provide information, but I think people in general know what is healthy and what is not,” she added.

The interview – published a few days into her new role as head of the ministry, was “dotted with the kind of sharp, controversial comments Ms. Listhaug, deputy leader of the right-wing, anti-immigration Progress Party, is known for,” reports the Times – which promptly goes on to disparage the conservative politician for actually believing in individual freedom and personal responsibility, two of the basic principles of real liberalism, (we all know people who ‘identify’ as liberals do so only because hir sounds cuddlier and less threaening that if they were honest and called themselves fascistic authoritarians.

Ms Listhaug is no stranger to controversy, as immigration minister she made headlines in 2017 with disparaging comments about Sweden, saying that Norway should not become like its neighbor, which was accepting more refugeesnd African despite having experiences a huge rise in crome rates, especiall in sex crimed by middle – eastern a males against European women since abolishing border controls and letting all comers claim residency in the country. Last year, she resigned as justice minister after comments about terrorists
(which were in fact true,) she made on Facebook threatened to bring down the government.

This week, opposition politicians and health advocates suffered collective apoplexy as they tried to outdo each other in denouncing in the strongest terms Ms. Listhaug’s comments on habits that are hyped as major risk factors for many serious diseases, all of which are big money spinners for Big Pharma

The secretary general of Norway’s Cancer Society, Anne Lise Ryel was shocked by the comments – saying in a statement: “I fear that this will set public health efforts back for decades, and that this will compromise the general understanding among Norwegians of the health consequences of tobacco and alcohol use.” It is notable that a way of preventing cancer (and some maverick doctors say a cure,) has been available since the 1960s but no public health charity or government department in the democratic world is promoting it. Could that be, perhaps, that no expensive drugs, therapies or surgery are involved, only self discipline.

Ryel has called for Listhaug to be removed from her post, adding that “she seems to lack understanding of what public health really means and what her role as minister in that area should be.” Perhaps she understands more than Ryel admits. This publication knows public health is about shovelling taxpayers’ money into Big Pharma’s coffers.

Listhaug stuck to her guns, fireing back in a Friday email to the Times, writing: “The government believes that people have to take responsibility for their own life, but the government has to make sure that everyone can make healthy and informed choices.”

“The number of daily smokers has declined sharply since 2000,” she added. “This confirms that the Norwegian tobacco policy and control strategy works.”

According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, in 2017, 11 percent of Norwegians aged 15 or older smoked daily, one of the lowest rates among the group’s 34 member nations. Norway has also had the steepest decrease of any of the countries since 2000, when the equivalent figure was 32 percent.

The Eurosceptoc Progress Party has been a junior partner in Norway’s center-right governing coalition since 2013. Its rise to prominence created unease, coming just two years after a far-right, anti-Muslim extremist who had once belonged to the party killed 77 people in a murderous rampage. It;s rapid rise has accompanied a crime wave in the immigrant communities of Noway’s cities, with turf wars between rival immigrant gangs for control of the drugs and sex trades often erupting into violence on the streeets of the capital city Oslo.

Governments around the world have stepped up campaigns to fight unhealthy habits usually be imposing punitive taxation. France recently told people not to drink every day; a soda tax in Britain has helped lower sugar levels in some drinks, and Australia’s graphic warnings on cigarette packages, considered a success, are being copied in other countries. –New York Times While governments claim success for their authoritarian attacks on personal liberty, the rise in contraband goods smuggled from nations were taxes on tobacco and alcohol are low or zero has risen astronomically and in Europe there have been cases of small factories being set up producing low quality cigarettes made with cheap tobacco in in healthy conditions, which are paked in fake reproductions of leading brand packaging and passed off as the real thing.

Listhaug also said that smokers in Norway are made to feel like “pariahs,” and that she would not be the “moral police” in government – echoing comments made by Austria’s far-right defense of freedom of choice in their oppostion of antismoking legislation.

Listhaug is a former regular smoker who told NRK that she is now just a social smoker.

Ghosts Of ’68 Threaten Macron’s Technocratic Dream.

The idealistic hope that mass protests and civil disobedience could trigger real social change met with some success in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries but looked to have died after the USA’s 1960s civil rights movement and anti – war protests. The recent mass demonstrations of Frane’s gilets jaunes (yellow vests) movement in 2018, a movement which has spread to Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Britain, Italy, Sweden and Canada looks to have resurrected this style of political activism.

The yellow vest movement is not idologically fuelled as protests from the 1920s to 1960s were; it’s fueled by desperation and what Francis Fukuyama in a recent essay (Against Identity Politics (Foreign Affairs, Sept/Oct. 2018),termed the working classes’ “perception of invisibility” a view echoed by French geographer / author Christophe Guilluy who said that “the French people are using the gilets jaunes to say we exist.” Unstoppable”: Christophe Guilluy on the cultural divide driving the yellow vests (via Arshad A.)

“Not only does peripheral France fare badly in the modern economy, it is also culturally misunderstood by the elite. The yellow-vest movement is a truly 21st-century movement in that it is cultural as well as political. Cultural validation is extremely important in our era.

One illustration of this cultural divide is that most modern, progressive social movements and protests are quickly endorsed by celebrities, actors, the media and the intellectuals. But none of them approve of the gilets jaunes. Their emergence has caused a kind of psychological shock to the cultural establishment. It is exactly the same shock that the British elites experienced with the Brexit vote and that they are still experiencing now, three years later.”

The author expands on how the working-classes have come to be excluded?

 “All the growth and dynamism is in the major cities, but people cannot just move there. The cities are inaccessible, particularly thanks to mounting housing costs. The big cities today are like medieval citadels. It is like we are going back to the city-states of the Middle Ages. Funnily enough, Paris is going to start charging people for entry, just like the excise duties you used to have to pay to enter a town in the Middle Ages.

The cities themselves have become very unequal, too. The Parisian economy needs executives and qualified professionals. It also needs workers, predominantly immigrants, for the construction industry and catering et cetera. Business relies on this very specific demographic mix. The problem is that ‘the people’ outside of this still exist. In fact, ‘Peripheral France’ actually encompasses the majority of French people.”

And the role the liberal metropolitan elite played in this?

 We have a new bourgeoisie, but because they are very cool and progressive, it creates the impression that there is no class conflict anymore. It is really difficult to oppose the hipsters when they say they care about the poor and about minorities.

But actually, they are very much complicit in relegating the working classes to the sidelines. Not only do they benefit enormously from the globalised economy, but they have also produced a dominant cultural discourse which ostracises working-class people.

The middle-class reaction to the yellow vests has been telling. Immediately, the protesters were denounced as xenophobes, anti-Semites and homophobes. The elites present themselves as anti-fascist and anti-racist but this is merely a way of defending their class interests. It is the only argument they can muster to defend their status, but it is not working anymore.

Now the elites are afraid. For the first time, there is a movement which cannot be controlled through the normal political mechanisms. The gilets jaunes didn’t emerge from the trade unions or the political parties. It cannot be stopped. There is no ‘off’ button. Either the intelligentsia will be forced to properly acknowledge the existence of these people, or they will have to opt for a kind of soft totalitarianism.”

By mobilizing 80,000 heavily armed “security forces” in an unsuccessful attempt to suppress dissent, as President Macron has, looks more like hard authoritarianism than soft totalitarianism. The boy Macron has of course tried to justify his heavy handed response by a fatuously claiming  he has a duty to defend “the social order,” i.e. to maintain the  domination of the ruling elite.

But the French elites are discovering the unsettling reality that it’s impossible to defend every traffic-speed camera, every bank, etc. from sabotage and that their working class challengers are smart enough to know this. I’ve often finished article calling for civil action against authoritarianism with the line, “THEY CAN’T PUT US ALL IN PRISON.” It is intended as a warning to those who would control society, rather than an exhortation to those who challenge authority.

The class analysis of the current crisis shows a reversal of polarity from the 1968 general strike of elite students and labor unions. Fifty years ago, the students of the elite universities, in an orgy of virtue signalling (the left never changes though they scream for change,)  lent their support to the trade unions and this combination nearly toppled the government with a general strike.

Now, students of the elite Paris universities, brainwashed with politically correct ideology on gay and trans rights, the desirability of mass immigration and the duty of nanny state to micromanage our private lives, are supporters of the technocrat elite, as the most fervent hope of most of these students is to nail down a position in a government department or QANGO, jobs which are threatened by the yellow vest dissenters.

The labor unions are also missing in action, as they are now adjuncts of the ruling elites, feeding at the same trough of tax revenues and corporate globalization-financialization profits and promoting the same policies that are damaging to working class living standards and social mobility: mass immigration, globasisation (which the working class recognise as exporting jobs,) Islamification of society, erosion of national sovereignty and cultural values and so on.

The gilets jaunes / yellow vests are a working class revolt against the elites, who like medieval aristocrats, regard the “lower orders” as stupid, infantile and in need of paternalistic guidance, and those among the working and lower middle class who identify with the elites: the pseudo-progressive hipsters, the aspiring technocrats and the comfortably secure state employees, all of whom are now on the elite side of the barricades.

The Paris elites and their enablers may find that the next general strike won’t immobilize Paris, it will strangle Paris from the periphery. The unions which were on the democratic side of the barricades 50 years ago may find their identification with the ruling elite challenged, and they’ll be forced to either remember their roots and side with the authentic working class (yellow vests) in a general strike or throw their support behind the undemocratic technocrats like Marcon and those in his administration, who planned to run France for the benefit of their own caste, the university educated, progressive liberal, globalist, soft left.

The quasi-progressives claim to be anti-fascist but are themselves the anti-working class fascists (Beniot Mussolini defined fascism as the collaboration of state and corporate business to exercise absolute power,) and are not appreciating the fact that the ‘stupid working class oiks’ of the Yellow Vest movement are exposing their self-serving hypocrisy. Like the US liberals of the early twentieth century, they are all for civil rights “so long as the niggers don’t leave the plantation.”

Here”s a news snippet that encapsulates exactly what is wrong with the way Marcon and his elitist cronies are trying to handle the crisis. “On Tuesday, the person picked to lead the country’s planned “great debate” on the issues resigned over her €14,666 monthly salary (£13,200; $16,800)” which is $200,000 annually, roughly seven or eight times the average worker’s salary.

Now what kind of plonker would put an academic who already has a well paid position in charge of establishing dialogue with truck drivers, factory workers and labourers who, thanks to elitist policies, are stuggling to make ends meet. That’s the kind of insensitivity responsible for triggering the anger that drives the protests, an illustration of class division in a nutshell. The fake-progressive technocrats are skimming $200,000 a year to defend an indefensible undemocratic neofeudal system of exploitation that handsomely benefits the few at the expense of the many. And the hypocrites call Marcon’s opponent Marine Le Pen “far right.” Bollocks.

EU Parliament Passes Resolution On Ban Of ‘Neo-Fascist’ Groups, Lists Identitarian Movement

The most undemocratic democratically elected body in the world, The European Union Parliament this week passed a resolution demanding that member-states ban ‘neo-fascist’ parties and groups and have intelligence agencies fully co-operate with ‘anti-racism’ NGOs. Ironically the ‘anti – racism NGOs they mention are all offshots of globalist, anti – democracy organisations such as Open Society Institute and the Immigrant Defence Project.

The motion, which was introduced at the request of Italian MEP Eleonora Forenza, was passed by a vote of 355 MEPs. Many MEPs were not present in the 751-seat chamber for the vote.

The resolution cited several high-profile acts of violence including the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016, the murder rampage of Norwegian extremist Anders Brevik, along with other cases like the recent arrest this year of members of the Action des Forces Opérationnelles (AFO), who allegedly plotted to attack Muslims they deemed extremists. NOTE: MEPs, like the ‘anti-racist NGOs’ they voted to support do not seem in the least concerned about attacks on European Jews, Christians and secular citizens, or hate speech inciting such violence, by Muslims.

While most of the incidents listed in the report were acts of violence, the authors also added the French branch of the Identitarian movement Generation Identitaire, as members had been taken to court and convicted of ‘hate speech’, apparently for the heinous crime of arguing that the french government should protect French culture and values rather than pandering to Muslim extremists .

The EP not only the banning of groups like the far-right Italian group Casapound whose members attacked Ms Forenza in September but also recommended anti-hate crime units be set up in police forces across the EU, and that intelligence and law enforcement agencies should fully co-operate with anti-racism NGOs. We should remember that it is almost impossible to legally define what constitutes ‘hate speech’ when Muslim and leftist groups regularly call for violence to be used to suppress criticism of their ideals, and yet do not apply the same standards to their own supporters and fellow travellers.

The motion also calls for “the protection of community groups and civil society organisations that fight against fascism, racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance.” Again we run up against the issue of hard legal definitions, fascism has no legal definition and is usually taken to mean hard line authoritarianism, but more recently has been used to mean any criticism of left wing ideology or Muslim theology.

In fact the only organisation in Europe of any significance that could be described as fascist is the European Union.

British independent MEP Janice Atkinson, vice-president of the populist Europe for Nations and Freedom (ENF) parliamentary group, who commented that the motion was “a very disturbing example of the growing tendency of shutting down free speech under the guise of claiming that the European Parliament is concerned about the growing acceptance of fascism, racism, and xenophobia.”

Police separate far-right & anti-fascist protesters in London

Twelve people were arrested in London today as police and protesters clashed at an anti-Islamic terrorism rally organised by nationalist groups Britain First and EDL.

The protest was held under the banner ““London Under Attack,” a Britain First, along with the anti-immigration group English Defence League (EDL), to “protest against radical Islamic terrorism.” a reference to the recent terror attack in London in which a police officer on guard duty outside the parliament building was stabbed to death and four civilians were killed.

A counter demonstation by the neo fascist group Unite Against Fascism, which while claiming to be a left wing organisation demonstrates that the only left wing quality they posess is the humourless self righteousness by failing to see that in spite of their name they used facist tactics of trying to deny opponents their right to peacefully demonstrate in support of causes. UAF are of course opposed to free speech or to be precise, opposed to anybody that disagrees with Unite Against Fascism being allowed to exercise the right to free speech. UAF have no rational arguments to support their case and so try to silence their opponents by chanting idiotic slogans and infantile threats.

At the demonstration, Unite Against fascism supporters marched alongside the demonstrators who they deemed to be anti-Islamic.

“Both groups are notorious Islamophobes whose concern is not with the victims or their relatives, but only lie in racism,” United Against Fascism said in a Facebook statement. Unfortunately none of the on-the-spot reporters had the presence of mind to ask if any UAF supporter present could provide an intelligent definition of “Islamophobia.” UAF members are among those warped individuals whose supply of canned morals and values only allows them to parrot buzzwords, thinking is beyond them. Apparently they are happpy to accuse a white man who wolf whistles at a girl of rape, while excusing rapists whose skin is darker than that of their victims, because ‘muluiculturalism and diversity’. We have seen this demonstrated in Rotherham, Oxford and elswhere.

London’s Metropolitan Police were forced to separate the groups that gathered near Trafalgar Square, in a tense stand-off heightened by emotion following the March 22 terrorist attack.

The march was held ten days after the Westminster attack that left four people dead and dozens injured. British-born attacker Khalid Masood rammed pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before slamming his vehicle into the gates of the parliament buildings and killing a police officer.

I wonder if David Cameron texted these words to Gideon George Osborne this moring:

There are those in the blog.co.uk community who will assume I am spluttering with rage at the victory of Jeremy Corbyn in the Labour Party leadership contest. So why the words from A E Houseman? Not so, for several reasons.

ONE: Its alway good to see another Shropshire lad doing well (Jeremy Corbyn spent his childhood in a small Shropshire village around ten miles from where my family lived at the time. It has to be acknowledged that the Corbyn’s Manor house was considerably more grand, being a seven bedroomed mansion while ‘Thorpe Towers’ was only a five bedroomed farmhouse.

TWO: It has seriously pissed off the war – loving, pro – globalism, pro – EU, pro – corporatism, neo – fascist, authoritarian, oligarchical collectivists who have hijacked the Labour and Conservative parties.

THREE: Anybody who is anti – establishment can’t be all bad.

FOUR: It WILL split the Labour Party but is likely to encourage a split in the Copnservative Party between Cameron’s globalist, pro – EU, pro – corporate neo – Nazi and the Tory Europsceptics led by the bloke with high hair.

FIVE: Whatever else Jeremy Corbyn may be, he believes in and will defend democracy and free speech (which is why he doesn’t like the EU.
