The government today backed off its promise that social distancing restrictions and recommendations on Covid passports will be reviewed this month claiming, as this blog predicted they would, that uncertainty caused by the Indian variant might force lockdowns and extensions to social restrictions. Downing Street’s’s official spokesman said at a briefing of political journalists this afternoon that there was no “set time” for those announcements to be made.
In fact Boris Johnson had set out a time frame only last week, saying an update on whether social distancing will continue and Covid status certificates will be needed after June 21 would come later in May. But that was before the science fascists of the SAGE panel “got at” him with their latest round of utterly fantastical scaremongering.
Boris toldt a press conference last Monday: “We’ll be saying more later this month about exactly what the world will look like and what role there could be, if any, for certification and social distancing.”
This latest about turn – from announcements on ending lockdown and social restrictions this month to no fixed date – reflects the new wave of fear-and-panic propaganda created on the back of the so called the Indian variant of Covid-19, which scientific speculation suggests could be more transmissible than other variants although there is no hard evidence such a variant even exists.
Sir Jeremy Farrar, a member of the Scientific Advisory Group on Emergencies, said that the Government was facing the “most difficult policy decision, frankly, of the last 15 months or so.”
This morning one minister told Politico that vaccine refusers were now the “absolute principal threat to June 21” , forewarning of a campaign of Nazi style scapegoating to come as they government seeks to blame one sector of society for its failings throughout the alleged pandemic. Instead of admitting they got it wrong and should not have listened to the idiotic advice of their “scientific advisers” they are trying to suggest it is all the fault of vaccine refusers (who can easily be identified by their big noses,. habit of wringing their hands a lot and fondness for cream cheese and lox bagels if you know what I mean,) even though lockdowns and social distancing had failed to halt or even slow the pandemic long before there were any vaccines available for people to decline to havesuch toxic shite injected ino their bodies.
There is now a debate reportedly raging in Westminster as to whether the lifting of restrictions should be slowed down to protect people who refuse to be vaccinated.
As one of the resoulutely unvaccinated and speaking purely for myself I would like to lassure Boris, Hancock & Cop know there is no reason to slow down the lifting of restrictions to protect me, in fact I would feel much safer knowing the government is NOT protecting me.
Given the dismal track record built up by governments of every shade for as far back as I can remember on all issues of any consequence I am quite sure I will be at much greater risk from the inept and wrong headed efforts of government and their scientific advisers that if left to my own devices.
People want their freedom back and saying that unvaccinated people are delaying our freedom is just part of the psychological ammunition to blame anyone but the government for the economic damage inflicted by lockdowns as well as the social misery. Dividing society into the vaccinated and the <del>Jews</del> unvaccinated divides the people. Divide and conquer is nothing new but hey, it worked for the Nazis, for Stalin and Chairman Mao and for Joe Biden.
Look at the ‘road map’. They could have said that it’s a six month lockdown. Sounds very different.
The government employs, and pays with our tax payer money, teams of people to work on the psychology of manipulating public opinion but these arseholes are obviously a bunch of charlatans as 90% of the population believe the government got it horribly wromg one way or the other.
Really whether you are vaccinated or not is not the issue here. People who refuse vaccination (in reality about 20% and rising rather than the 0.02% official figures would have you believe – our editor and webmaster sneaked in the backdoor of the Office of National Statistics and had a look at the charts they do not publish – do so in the knowledge that they alone will be responsible for any adverse consequences, and the old argument that the unvaccinated pose a threat to the vaccinated proves as ever that the people pushing vaccines have no confidence in them. The government are the ones making the rules on introducing vaccine passports, ending lockdowns and reopening the economy, not the people.
If it wasn’t so tragic it would be laughable. Those of us who did our homework knew this pathetic excuse of a government and their neo – fascist paymasters in the World Economic Forum would find some excuse NOT to end the chaos on June 21st. The “science they claim to be led by is nothing but more of the ridiculous computer modelling, so called “cases” and the fear factor as has now been widely publicised.

There is really zero point in getting vaccinated against a virus that – even when here – was 99.98% survivable – and for which there was always another cure. Gov said as soon as the vulnerable were vaxxed, we’d be back to normal. They lied. Now they’re trying to vax everybody. You don’t need to vax anyone who has had COVID, you don’t need to vaxx anyone with T-cell immunity (over 95% aparently as after a year of this highly contagious virus rampaging through society 95+% of us have shown no sign of the illness,) and you don’t need to vaxx healthy under 65-year-olds as 99.6% of deaths have occurred in the over 65s. As the government knows this, when those with prior immunity die from vaccine complications, those families can claim medical negligence, reckless endangerment as it was know they were problematic before they were given emergency approval and in one case test on animals were stopped because all the animals died, and even murder.
