Ireland to Jail ‘Hate Speech’ Offenders for Up to Five Years, But New Laws Are Arousing A Lot Of Hate

Always eager to be at the forefront of any fascitic EU campaign against freedom an civilised values, the government of Ireland published new ‘Hate Speeech’ legislation on Thursday (27 October). Under the new laws any individual found guilty of using “hate speech” in Ireland will face up to five years in jail. The country’s Justice Minister, Helen McEntee, has been at the centre of the country’s push towards implementing the effective abolition of free speech under the guise of protecting vulnerable minorities from “hate speech”, with her department announcing that the first draft of the new laws would soon be put in front of the nation’s parliament.

Under the proposed law, people found guilty of “any intentional or reckless communication or behaviour that is likely to incite violence or hatred against a person or persons because they are associated with a protected characteristic” could be sentenced to a maximum of five years jail time.

What’s more, and here’s the bit that would really make Hitler or Mussolini’s thugs proud, any individual convicted of such an offence would be branded a “hate criminal”, a label which the minister says is designed to “follow an offender in court, in garda vetting, and so on”.

“[H]ate speech is not about free speech,” McEntee declared in a statement published by her department. “Hate speech is designed to shut people down, to shut them up, to make them afraid to say who they are and to exclude and isolate them,” she continued. “There is nothing free about that, and there is, frankly, no place for it in our society.”

No, hate speech is about stupid, virtue signalling politicians giving nasty, restentful little shits the ability to destroy somebody’s life. Hate Speech, you see, has not and cannot have and solid legal definition. Hate speech is defined by the hearer’s interpretation of remarks heard or overheard. Thus a completely innocuous comment made in a private conversation but overheard by some hateful little shit, can destroy somebody’s life, even if the offending comment is an undeniable truth, for example saying that somebody born with a penis is a man and cannot ever become a woman.

So a jilted lover, a thwarted business rival, someone whose childish playground insults have festered since schooldays can be targeted and accused of hate speech simply as an act of revenge. Human nature being what it is, how could anything possibly go wrong?

The announcement that the Irish government — already deeply unpopular due to its inept and chaotic response to the COVID pandemic, followed by similar mishandling of the ongoing cost of living, energy,housing, and migrant crises — now aims to implement hate speech legislation posssibly by the end of this year has angered many, who have accused the ruling coalition of trying to silence critics. When somebody can be jailed for saying, “The Prime Minister is a useless, authoritarian clown,” what is that other than the suppression of free speech. And the suppression of free speech, along with control of the media (already accomplished,) is always the first act of a fascist regime.

A representative from Free Speech Ireland told reporters that the Irish public was broadly opposed to the implementation of such legislation, and that the move would almost certainly strain police resources in the country. This blog is certain it will also poison police / public relations.

“No one in Ireland asked for these laws except for elite NGOs,” the spokesman said, adding that the new laws would almost certainly restrict freedom of speech in the country.

Use of the N-word in a BBC news report has caused a 1Xtra radio presenter to quit and now there are calls to boycott the Beeb. But there’s silence on the station’s endorsement of music that promotes violence and misogyny.

A relatively unknown, minor media personality whipped up a racism debate and has turned himself into a well-known, minor media personality. That’s Sideman, or David Whitely to his friends.

He foisted himself into the news with an Instagram video resigning from the BBC, where he worked on radio station 1Xtra. The motivation was what he called “a slap in the face to our community” after a white person used the N-word on TV.

However, the grandiose statement neglected to reveal any context. The white person was female social affairs correspondent Fiona Lamdin. She was covering a horrific attack on a black healthcare worker, who was making his way home after a shift at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

A car was deliberately driven into him at speed, resulting in multiple injuries including a broken leg, nose and cheekbone.

In an interview with talkRADIO host Kevin O’Sullivan, Gervais dismissed the new ‘trendy myth’ that the only people who want free speech want to use it to say terrible things:

“There’s this new weird sort of fascism of people thinking they know what you can say and what you can’t say and it’s a really weird thing that there’s this new trendy myth that people who want free speech want it to say awful things all the time, which just isn’t true. It protects everyone.”

Critically, Gervais sees two catastrophic problems with the term ‘hate speech’:

“One, what constitutes hate speech? Everyone disagrees. There’s no consensus on what hate speech is.”

“Two, who decides? And there’s the real rub because obviously the people who think they want to close down free speech because it’s bad are the fascists. It’s a really weird, mixed-up idea that these people hide behind a shield of goodness.”

The girl, known as Mila, said Islam ‘is a s*** religion’ and the Koran is ‘full of hate’ in an outburst online after she repeatedly rebuffed a Muslim boys’s sexual advances. Her angry video came after her tormentor said she had ‘insulted our God Allah, the one and only’ and that it was hoped she would ‘burn in hell’.

The French teenager is now in hiding after allegedly insulting Islam online. What French media are not reporting is that the girl was herself insulted after refusing the sexual advances of a male who then revealed he was Muslim and told her she was a dirty whore who would burn in hell. French Police told a French teenager to go into hiding after she received death threats for insulting Islam.

The 16-year-old has been advised to stay away from her lycée (sixth-form college) in southeast France after calls on the internet for her to be killed, raped or attacked. Typical Muslim male behaviour we have observed.

The girl, named only as Mila, is understood to have been told by officials that she should avoid being seen in public until the controversy fades. Great police protection of a vulnerable citizen! A 16-year-old girl is threatened with death, and in Grannyfucker Macron’s France the police tell her to “go into hiding.”

Prosecutors said two separate criminal inquiries were under way, the first to track the authors of threats to kill and rape the teenager, the second to determine whether her comments amounted to the offence of hate speech.

The French authorities, under the ridiculous popinjay Emmanel Macron, are now so obsessed with kissing Muslim arse they apparently draw an absurd equivalence between murder and “hate speech.” This the background on the controversy, which has roiled France:

The girl, who is from the Isère area near Lyons was sharing a live video on Instagram on Saturday when she became embroiled in a row with another Instagram user, a young Muslim male who started making what she calls “heavy-handed propositions” online during her broadcast.

When she refused his sexual advances, he called her a dyke, a “dirty whore” and threatened her with rape. He then mentioned that he was a Muslim. She responded by saying that: “I hate religion. The Koran is . . . full of hate. There is only hate in it. Islam is a shit religion. That’s what I think.”

Regardless of whether you agree with Mila or think she overreacted to a heavy-handed sexual proposition, followed by being called a dyke and a whore, she has a right, in any free country, to say what she said without having to fear murder, rape or other felonious assault.

The Director of the French Council of Muslims, Abdallah Zekri alleged Mila had ‘reaped what she had sown’ earlier this week, but was forced into an embarrassing retraction following public outcry.

French justice minister, Nicole Belloubet, also came in for criticism after she failed to come to the teenager’s defence, and instead accused her of breaching a legal concept that does not exist, ‘freedom of conscience’.

When she was told that none exists in French Law, Ms Belloubet apologised for her words and professed they had been a ‘mistake’. We think she will find next time she has to face the voters her biggest mistake has been to side with a Muslim wannabe rapist. At the very leadt Belloubet should be confined to an institution fot the bewildered. WTF is freedom of conscience and how did Mila breach it?

Merkel to German Parliament: We Have to Take Away your Freedom of Speech or We Won’t Be Free

German Chancellor Angela Merkel delivered an emotional speech to the German Budestag this week on a subject obviously close to her heart, the need for limiting freedom of speech to suppress criticism of policies implemented by her government and the EU commission.

Since the departure of Barack Obama, Merkel has set herself up as leader of the globalist and Cultural Marxist movements on the international stage.

The Chancellor argued that the government must take away freedom of speech to save preserve the freedom of the free world, or something. Given that the topics she currently wants to slience dissent on are her catastrophic ‘open doors’ immigration policy and the EU’s effort to force European nations and people to accept Islam and assimilate to Islamic values.

Merkel told German politicians: “For those who claim they can no longer express th”eir opinion, I say this to them: If you express and pronounced opinion, you must live with the fact that you will be contradicted. Expressing an opinion does not come at zero cost. But freedom of expression has its limits. Those limits begin where hatred is spread. They begin where the dignity of other people is violated. This house will and must oppose extreme speech. Otherwise our society will no longer be the free society that it was.

The problem Merkel, along with other left wing authoritarians have with their use of “hate speech” (apart from the usual lefties hypocrisy and double standards,) is that ‘hate’ is a very loose concept. Because the left see their route to establishing an authoritarian global government as being eased by importing millions of  unskilled, uneducated, illiterate, fanatically religious Muslims from Africa, the middle east and South East Asia and using their clerics to manipulate opinion and also disrupt and divide national communities.

Thus people like Merkel, France’s Macron, Jeremy Corbyn and The Labour Party in the UK and the Democratic Party in the USA are quick to define as “hate speech” anyone suggesting uncontrolled immigration is not a god idea but are happy to allow Islamic Preachers to call on Muslims to rise up and “kill all infidels,” or encouraging Muslim men to rape European secular and Christian women.

United Nations set to impose global ban on criticism of Islam

We have reported before on The United Nations (UN), a supra – national organisation made up of elitists appointed by other elitists, overreaching its mandate and trying to act as a global government, imposing policies that nobody voted, formulated by bureaucrats that nobody voted for, for on the sovereign nations of the world.

Here’s the latest example of this globalist authoritaianism and it is probably the most worrying yet for citizens of the democratic nations. The UN is planning to impose a global ban on telling the truth about Islam, because hearing the brutality of Islamic dogma described in detail upsets Muslims apparently:

Nations belonging to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and other governments adhering to Shariah law across the world are ramping up their new campaign with the United Nations to prohibit all speech that Muslims consider offensive.

“Islamist nations … long have sought a determination from the United Nations that any criticism of Islam or Muslims is ‘Islamophobia’ and banned globally,’” WND reported, noting that with 57 members, the OIC represents the largest voting bloc in the U.N. “But each time it has come up for a vote, more realistic arguments prevailed and the campaign never was legitimized.”

After U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres unveiled the new “U.N. Strategy and Plan of Action” to fight so-called “hate speech” at a special meeting in the packed Economic and Social (ECOSOC) chamber, Pakistan Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi incited more support to silence any opposition to Islam and its adherents – including speech condemning Islam for its scriptural inciting of terrorists to conduct jihad (holy war) on “infidels.”

“An inevitable consequence is to fan the flames of bigotry, intolerance, anti-Muslim hatred and xenophobia,” Lodhi proclaimed before ambassadors, senior diplomats and high-ranking U.N. officials, as quoted in a press release, according to MSN. “My Prime Minister Imran Khan has recently again called for urgent action to counter Islamophobia, which is today the most prevalent expression of racism and hatred against ‘the other.'”

Guterres said the overarching goal of the U.N. plan is to identify, prevent and confront what the U.N. and Islamic nations consider “hate speech.”

The motion, which was introduced at the request of Italian MEP Eleonora Forenza, was passed by a vote of 355 MEPs. Many MEPs were not present in the 751-seat chamber for the vote.

The resolution cited several high-profile acts of violence including the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox in 2016, the murder rampage of Norwegian extremist Anders Brevik, along with other cases like the recent arrest this year of members of the Action des Forces Opérationnelles (AFO), who allegedly plotted to attack Muslims they deemed extremists. NOTE: MEPs, like the ‘anti-racist NGOs’ they voted to support do not seem in the least concerned about attacks on European Jews, Christians and secular citizens, or hate speech inciting such violence, by Muslims.

While most of the incidents listed in the report were acts of violence, the authors also added the French branch of the Identitarian movement Generation Identitaire, as members had been taken to court and convicted of ‘hate speech’, apparently for the heinous crime of arguing that the french government should protect French culture and values rather than pandering to Muslim extremists .

The EP not only the banning of groups like the far-right Italian group Casapound whose members attacked Ms Forenza in September but also recommended anti-hate crime units be set up in police forces across the EU, and that intelligence and law enforcement agencies should fully co-operate with anti-racism NGOs. We should remember that it is almost impossible to legally define what constitutes ‘hate speech’ when Muslim and leftist groups regularly call for violence to be used to suppress criticism of their ideals, and yet do not apply the same standards to their own supporters and fellow travellers.

The motion also calls for “the protection of community groups and civil society organisations that fight against fascism, racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance.” Again we run up against the issue of hard legal definitions, fascism has no legal definition and is usually taken to mean hard line authoritarianism, but more recently has been used to mean any criticism of left wing ideology or Muslim theology.

In fact the only organisation in Europe of any significance that could be described as fascist is the European Union.

British independent MEP Janice Atkinson, vice-president of the populist Europe for Nations and Freedom (ENF) parliamentary group, who commented that the motion was “a very disturbing example of the growing tendency of shutting down free speech under the guise of claiming that the European Parliament is concerned about the growing acceptance of fascism, racism, and xenophobia.”

Violent Crime Rates Are Rising, Convictions Are Falling. Here’s Why

From news leaked last week we learn that London’s Muslim Mayor ‘Unhappy Richard’ (Sadiq) Khan’s pet ‘Hate Hurts’ program has caused 900 police officers to be assigned to ‘hate crime’ duty, which requires internet monitoring of “offensive speech” about Muslims.

Obviously Khan doesn’t care about the people suffering life changing injuries as with 900 coppers off the streets being paid to sit around watching monitoring the internet (or more likely spending 90% of their shift watching Porn Hub or You Porn, the crims have a free pass to do what they like so long as the victims aren’t Muslims. The soaring knife crimes and acid attacks by Muslims (oh yes, that’s an easily verified fact mainstream media do not care to report,) as well as paedophile Pakistani Muslim sex grooming gangs operating without let or hinderance not only in Rotherham but all over the country, are not just the result of police being too busy monitoring the internet for so-called “hate speech” to actually do their jobs, that’s only a recent innovation in policing methods.

The policy of soft pedalling in immigrant crime has been going on for decades and is not just a British practice but is widely adopted throughout the EU’s more prosperous nations. The following is an open letter from one of the victims of the Muslim grooming gangs that were allowed to operate in Rotherham for many years as police ignored reports of the crimes while politicians and local authority officials dismissed complainants as racists.

My name is Elizabeth, and I am one of the 1400 Rotherham ‘Survivors’ now estimated to be 2800 and I am trying to stop the early release of Murabek Ali, and to make the Police and Councils accountable for totally ignoring thousands of vulnerable girls, who like me, have suffered horrific abuse, trafficking, beatings, race hate, and gang rapes, at the hands of violent grooming gangs now operating ALL over Britain.

Less than 1% have ever been prosecuted, therefore most survivors live in constant fear as their rapists/abusers have never even been arrested! Those that are prosecuted serve ridiculously short sentences. Something has to be done!

Mubarek Ali was sentenced to 22 years in 2012 along with his brother Ahdel (who was jailed 18 years) for a raft of sexual offences including pimping out young girls many as young as 12 to workers at a curry house for £150 sex sessions.

During the brothers’ trial the court heard that the two men systematically groomed young girls for after hour sex sessions at the restaurant. Mubarek Ali was convicted of four charges of controlling child prostitution, two of trafficking in the UK for sexual exploitation and a charge of causing child prostitution.

Judge Patrick Thomas QC said the brothers’ motives were “squalid, demeaning and selfish”. He said the brothers were both “cold hearted and cynical” and “present significant danger to the public” and told them that they had shown “no remorse or regret”.

Ali will be released in November, because of the misleading way sentences are served and because of changes to the sentencing laws in 2003 allowing automatic release after serving just HALF their sentence and without a parole board! However this should NOT apply to dangerous sex offenders. The system also totally failed to inform victims of his release after serving just 5 years.

His victims in Telford who gave evidence in this horrific child sexual exploitation case five years ago are living in fear of his release.

CSE victims are so often overlooked and let down. The custodial sentences given for this horrific crime are disgracefully short and need to be reviewed. Ali has served just 5 years for horrific rape and abuse of young girls, his victims will have a ‘life sentence’ of horrific memories and anxiety.

We would also like a criminal investigation to be launched by the government into Police forces and Councils throughout Britain who have stood back and allowed these men to traffic, beat, gang rape and destroy the lives of so many girls for decades.

An example needs to be set to stop these grooming gangs, this is also RACIALLY MOTIVATED HATE CRIME against mainly white girls, they target their victims due to the fact they consider white girls worthless and slags, therefore it should also be treated as race hate crime, and any prison sentences should reflect this fact. These monsters deliberately target vulnerable girls as young as 12 giving them gifts, food, and plying them with alcohol, and forcing them to take drugs, for the purpose of trafficking them for abuse, they control beat, humiliate, degrade and regularly gang raping them, keeping them silenced by use of threats, violence and intimidation.

Longer sentences are served by many who commit fraud. LET THAT SINK IN A MOMENT!!! Britain’s government and law system believe that FRAUD is a worse crime than RAPE!

UK one of worst nations in Western Europe for press freedom – Reporters Without Borders

From being a leading nation for press freedom and liberal values, the UK is now one of the worst countries in western Europe with new media-muzzling laws, such as the pernicious ‘hate speech’ laws and a climate of hostility towards truthful reporting and investigative journalism, the latest issue of the Reporters Without Borders world press freedom index reveals.

The UK now only ranks 40 out of 180 in the 2018 World Press Freedom Index, an annual report compiled by highly respected non-profit organisation Reporters Without Borders (RSF). It dropped to that position in the past year. RSF commented that “The position marks a “staggering” decline for the UK of 18 places since the index began in 2002.”

As well as western European nations such as Germany, Ireland and France, countries not noted for their tradition of free press, including South Africa, Jamaica, Namibia and Slovakia also outperformed Britain. Scandinavian countries had the best climates for the free exchange of information, with Norway, Sweden and Finland ranking best in the index. North Korea held the lowest ranking, below Eritrea Turkmenistan, Syria, China and Vietnam.

Recent developments in the UK including what it called an “alarming” proposal by the Law Commission to replace the Official Secrets Act with an updated Espionage Act, have curtailed the ability of the press to hold powerful people and institutions to account.” .

The move “could make it easy to jail journalists as ‘spies’ for obtaining leaked information and see them jailed for up to 14 years”, the report concluded.

RFS also criticised the Government over the introduction of the Investigatory Powers Act, saying the new law contained insufficient protections for whistleblowers, journalists and their sources.

Freedom of the press came under further threat when Home Secretary Amber Rudd proposed restrictions to encryption on messaging services such as WhatsApp and announced plans to criminalise the repeated viewing of extremist content, the organisation said.’
