The government plans to put its Online Safety Bill before parliament in the Queen’s Speech later this spring. The bill describes some genuine harms, like distributing sexual images of children and information on how to make a suicide bomb. But it also seeks to prohibit a wide range of ‘harms’ which would otherwise be legal.

The Free Speech Union has been monitoring the progress of the bill since it was first run up the flagpole and we are glad to see some recent improvements to it. Nonetheless, without major changes, it will still mean lawful online speech will end up being censored.

The government plans to censor what it calls ‘offensive material’, as if giving offence is a harm from which a fragile public needs protection by the state. The ‘duty of care’ for online companies proposed by the bill covers tackling content that could produce an ‘adverse… psychological impact on individuals’. To incentiveise neighbours and family member to spy on each other is a favourite tactic of authoritarian socialist regimes of course so it is quite likely Ms. Sturgeon will be coming cap in hand to the government in London begging for money to fund a policy that will put Scotland on a par with Stalin’s Soviet Union, Hitler’s Germany and Castro’s Cuba.

We’re not sure how that could possibly work but as English is probably not Mr. Yousaf’s first language maybe he’s a little confused and thinks that having The Right to be offensive while actually facing possible criminal charges if we actually offend anyone is sufficient to protect the right of free speech.

That includes off-color dinner table conversations with friends and family. Asked whether people would be allowed to speak freely within their own homes, Yousaf said he disagreed “in terms of principle and policy” with the idea of keeping the law out of the living room.

French intellectual Renaud Camus (above) has been conditionally sentenced to 2 months imprisonment for arguing that mass immigration in Europe represents an “invasion.”

Under the weird French legal sysyem Camus can only avoid prison time by paying 1800 euros to two far – left, “anti-racist” organizations, SOS Racisme and the LICRA (International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism).

Summit.news reports: The writer, who is the author of Le Grand Remplacement (The Great Replacement), was charged with “public incitement to hate or violence on the basis of origin, ethnicity, nationality, race or religion.”

The conviction stems from a November 2017 speech in Colombey-les-deux Eglises to the National Council of European Resistance in which Camus declared, “Immigration has become an invasion.”

“The irreversible colonization is demographic colonization, by the replacement of the population,” said the author, adding, “The ethnic substitution, the great replacement, is the most important event in the history of our nation since it has existed; as with other people, if the story continues, it will not be that of France.”

Whether you agree with the French author or not, his words could in no way constitute ““public incitement to hate or violence on the basis of origin, ethnicity, nationality, race or religion,” in the mind of any reasonable person. The far – left are, as has been proved many times by their behaviour, the most unreasonable, intolerant, bigoted and racist people on the planet. One of their goals, which they are coming uncomfortable close to achieving thanks to politics, the legal system and law enforcement falling under the control of cultural Marxists, is to silence all dissenting opinions so their autgoritarian, ideologically driven, quasi – religious agenda of destroying European civilisation.

Camus also called for a “national consensus of resistance” to oppose Islamization in “the struggle for the salvation of our common civilization, Celtic, Slavic, Germanic, Greek-Latin, Judeo-Christian.”

The part of Camus’ speech that specifically garnered the attention of judges was when he talked about European people being replaced.

Camus said mass immigration “is the substitution, the tendency to substitute everything with its emulator, normalized, standardized, interchangeable: The original with its copy, the authentic with its imitation, the true with the false, the mothers with surrogate mothers, the culture with free time and entertainment.”

Immigration problems have plagued France for a long time due to immigrants from former colobies in Africa being encouraged to congregate and turn certain city suburbs into lawless ghettos. More recently the country has suffered Islamic terror attacks on such a routine basis that it’s barely even an important news story anymore. Muslim migrants are also known to be responsible for the upsurge in anti – Semitic attacks on synagogues, Jewish owned businesses and Jewish people. Many of those responsible for such attacks are young Muslim males radicalized by mosques that escape any police scrutiny because government policy forces police to prioritize the avoidance of anything which may increase inter – racisl tensions.

All this is well documented fact but Camus is being punished for his crime of having opinions the globalist government and its far – left, anti – white supporters are not prepared to tolerate.

Liberty is dead and free speech is a crime in France under the regime of Emmanuel Macron.

This ‘politics of hate’ trend started in the USA, now considered a county so politically polarised civil war is inevitable, but has become an integrat part of UK and European politics, with left wing groups routinely employing rent-a-mob thugs to silence opposition.

The Liberal Democrats fall into this category, having moved from the centre ground of the Liberal Party to the brainless groupthink of far left politics. Years ago I wrote an article on what I believe drives this rabid hatred. It appears that as usual I was years ahead of the crowd.

Political totalitarianism is coming to America, and via The United States Of America it will spead through the rest of the developed world if we do not resist. This week we have seen the latest social meltdown in a U.S. city people meeting to attend an officially authorised protest against the removal of a statue depicting the Confederate General Robert E. Lee were attacked by left wing rent-a-mob thugs who though not authorised to protest had decided to disrupt the rally.

Unfortunately rent-a-mob were not the only ones who learned of what was planned. Right wing thugs from the KKK and other extremist organisations decided they were going to make sure the rally in support of General Lee went ahead. And the rest is reported in the newspapers, though you may foind many contradictory accounts. just as truth is the first casualty of war, so objectivity is the first casualty of civil unrest, and if you have the impression that in the U.S.A. it is now impossible to be a neutral observer, you are not the only one.

The same is going on around Europe of course as those who style themselves ‘the left’,n an orgy of virtue signalling, increasingly adopt the position of reverse racism by demanding governments prioritise the interests of minorities over those of the majority and are imposing their warped view by describing any criticism as racism, fascism and ‘hate speech.’ Authoritarian attitudes are being ushered in not by paramilitary thugs in jackboots but by progressive activists and their allies in Silicon Valley and in the mainstream media. Increasingly free speech is being threatened by Google and Facebook algorithms that filter out from search results anything the ‘liberal’ elite do not approve of.

In a chilling oped, When Is Speech Violence published in The New York Times on July 14, psychology professor Lisa Feldman Barrett, who teaches at Northeastern University, argued that the risibly misnamed crime of “hate speech” is the same thing as physical violence because it may possibly cause emotionally fragile individuals stress. Without defining what exactly constitutes hate speech, the professor argues that should be made illegal. This is of course making opinions illegal, for example if a white Christian or atheist is guilty of hate speech for demanting tighter controls on immigration, how can it be OK for an Islamic fundamentalist Imam call on Muslims to ‘rise up ans slaughter the infidel.

While politicians are mealy mouthed when confronted with this contradiction, internet technology companies are taking it upon themselves to stamp-out so-called “hate speech,” smothering free speech and the free exchange of ideas in the process.

A number of troubling actions by internet companies — Google (Don’t be evil – that’s our job,) being most prominent among them — are making it increasingly clear that some in Silicon Valley have proclaimed themselves defenders of the politically correct creed, of the new fascism and that those firms will silence any and all heretics who challenge the dogmas of these techno – inquisitors.

“Silicon Valley lives in a politically regressive, exclusive bubble. They are not aware of their own biases in how they talk, have a limited understanding of the philosophy behind free speech, and find it difficult empathizing with other points of view,” says Aaron Ginn, co-founder of the Lincoln Network, a think tank that seeks to promote libertarian ideas in the tech industry.

It is not just that Google is not promoting points of view which dissent from the techno – orthodoxy, the search giant, aleady in trouble with regulators around the wortld for abusing its near monopoly position, is also actively trying to suppress diversity of opinion. Google recently and controversially fired software engineer James Damore for authoring an internal memo questioning the company’s ideologically motivated but hypocritical diversity policies by highlighting the gap between policy and practice and citing sound scientific evidence suggesting that possible biological differences between men and women, not discrimination, could be a factor in the tech field’s high percentage of male professionals.

In the aftermath of Damore’s firing, former Google employees stepped forward and on condition of anonymity revealed the true extent of the company’s efforts to silence non – liberal voices among its staff. One anonymous employee identified as “Hal” told Breitbart News last week that some employees in Google’s ad sales department are “openly encouraging Adwords customers to pull their ads from Breitbart and Rebel Media.”

Another employee identified only as “Emmet” confirmed this with Breitbart News, and also revealed the existence of “efforts to demote anything non-PC, anti-socialist, and anti-Islamic from the company’s search results.”

Emmett says he personally witnessed efforts from leftists within Google to bias YouTube’s algorithms to push anti-PC content off the platform’s ‘related videos’ recommendations. Breitbart reported “The software could just ‘astroturf’ your Related Videos section [an effort to hurt overall ratings], and you would be none the wiser.”

“Sure, if you know what to look for, perhaps you’d notice,” he continued. “But the vast majority of the viewership would never ever know. That’s the whole point of such a disinformation program, right? If you can tell it’s disinformation, you would never, ever believe it,” the whistleblower added.

People familiar with the process have told reporters recently that YouTube, a Google spin – off, is also laboring to cleanse its platform of alternative voices that challenge the mainstream liberal narrative, removing videos crotical of Islamic extremism, but contunuing to show videos of stonings and beheadings in Muslim countres, content advocating sex with young children and anti – Christian violence, including video of white women being gang raped by Muslim men in northern Europe. The video-sharing site has in the past few months systematically demonetized videos of right-wing commenters and journalists, such as Infowars editor-at-large Paul Joseph Watson and former Rebel Media reporter Lauren Southern.

At least 35 females aged between 12 and 17 reported being attacked during the Party in the Park festival in Karlstad on Friday and Saturday night, and some of the alleged victims reported being ‘kissed and groped’ in a situation reminiscent of the <a href=”http://edbutt.blogspot.com/2016/06/six-months-on-from-cologne-outrage.html”>Cologne New Year attacks</a> according to supporters of the Sweden Democrats prepared to defy the diktat of Sweden’s neo – Nazi government which states that telling the truth about immigrant lawlessness and violence is a hate crime.

17 year old victim Alexandra Larsson waived her right to anonymity to describe in detail how an attacker targeted her while Larsson was watching the event. Larsson tells how boys that “were not from a Swedish background” started groping her, and threatening her by saying “you will die, b***h.”

Fr&ouml;ken Larsson told a Swedish online news site:<br />

‘Everything was okay at the beginning of the evening. But things got out of hand during the last concert with John de Sohn that started at midnight.

‘We managed to walk away from those boys after a while and started watching the concert. That was when I felt the first touch against my bottom.

‘Then someone took the liberty of grabbing my butt really hard. I turned away and said to the group of boys behind us that this was not okay, but I did not know who had done it. After a while, I felt someone running his fingers between my legs touching my genitals. Luckily, I had jeans on me.’

After the harassment, she turned around and said to the group of young men standing next to her that they should stop what they were doing. But everyone around her claimed to be innocent. It then happened again, she said.

‘I turned around and screamed right out that “whoever it was – you’re a pig!” I told my friends what had just happened and they were all shocked. Me and my girlfriends decided to leave the concert, because we could not see who it was. It was just a sea of ??people.’

Ms Larsson described a feeling of powerlessness as the festival she and her friends had been looking forward to was completely destroyed.

‘It was creepy. Someone stood around me and groped me and I had no idea who it was. It was sick. We had come there to have fun, but the festival only lasted 20 minutes for us because it was so uncomfortable.

‘The groping was at first a bit innocent. Just a touch on the bottom. Something that you can do by mistake in a big crowd of people. But it became worse and worse after that. The one touching me was becoming more and more rough every time.

She said that the boys around them were about 17 or 18-years-old but ‘those standing behind me were not from a Swedish background.’

‘They were probably immigrants. I hate to say it. But it is the truth,’ she said.

Another young Swedish woman recalled seeing a friend crying from the audience, and by the time they left the concert she could see crying girls everywhere. She told a reporter she believes that the attackers behave this way because they believe that the government will not allow the police to prosecute immigrants.

Free speech is the foundation of democracy. If we lose free speech we have lost everything because, to put it simply, we can no longer ask the questions that hold ruling elites to account.

Free speech is not for the faint hearted, saying what YOU believe to be true can attract some robust responses, so those arrested adolescents who want everybody to like them should avoid exercising their right to it. Those who are easily offended, quickly intimidated or the snivelling little cowards on university campuses who feel they are entitled to live in a ‘safe space’ where they will never see or hear anything that offends their delicate, politically correct sensibilities should stay away from free speech (preferably by dressing in baby clothes, sucking on titty bottles and locking themselves in a pink furry bedroom with lots of cuddly toys for company (or they could try to GROW THE FUCK UP of course.

Free speech can sometimes get angry, shouty, foul-mouthed, obscene, intolerant, undignified, insensitive, cantankerous, bawdy and downright fucking offensive. The problem is that the scum sucking spawn of a pox whore’s scab louse has just as much right to express their opinion as you and your ‘right – on’ friends.

Unfortunately, our appreciation for a robust freedom of speech has worn thin over the years.

Fear of free speech (liberglossophobia?) afflicts many in the English speaking world which has been hit harder by the plague of politically correct thinking than most places other cultures. Americans have become fearfully polite, hardly daring to say “good morning” lest it should offend somebody who thinks it is not a good morning. We have become reluctant to mention personal preferences because people who hate what we like might be offended by our preference being different to theirs. So hateful and furious have the responses of the ‘progressive left’ to those who stray ‘off – message’ become, people are unwilling to be labeled racist, bigoted,  intolerant, hateful, closed-minded or any of the other toxic (but rarely correctly applied) labels that carry a badge of shame today. We’ve come to prize compliance over freedom.

Worse, too many people are held hostage by their screen devices and the talking heads on television, have lost the ability to think critically or form their own opinions. Those who spend a lot of time dicking about with their smartphones or tablets are having their opinions formed for them, not by ‘The Wisdom Of The Crowd‘ (there is no crowd, only software filters that control what you see on the internet.)

Truly democratic societies cherish free speech and controversy (the true diversity rather than a facistic gesture of forcing people of different skin tones, religions and cultures to live side by side) and thus produce a robust democracy which respects the rights of others within a shared moral framework and will stand against authoritarian government.

Free speech has always been the first target of tyrants, oppressive regimes have traditionally understood the value of controlling citizens by controlling ideas by suppressing open discussion. The power elites have a vested interest in suppressing debate and publication of the data that informs debate, such controls are essential to controlling how a people view their society and government.

All politicians have an insatiable appetite for power which is a drug thousands of times more addictive than heroin or cocaine.  If they can turn the two-way dialogue that is representative democracy into a one-way dictatorship in which questioning government policy is crminalised (a move which Barack Obama, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron in the UK, France’s Francois Hollande, Chancellor angela Merkel of Germany and various Eurpean Union and United Nations bureaucrats have spoken of in relation to mass immigration policy or climate change scepticism) their grip on power is consolidated. Instead of news we will have propaganda, and instead of freedom we will have serfdom.

Emboldened by theraputic phrases from the pseudo – sciences of sociology and psychology such as “hate speech,” “bullying,” “extremism” and “microaggressions,” the government and their collaborators in internet social media are whittling away at free speech, ensuring it does not challenge the status quo in any meaningful way or goes against  politically correct ideals, and muzzling it when it threatens the elite’s control.

Free speech is no longer free.

Nor is free speech still considered an inalienable right or an essential liberty, even by those government entities entrusted with protecting it.

We’ve entered into an egotistical, insulated, narcissistic era in which free speech has been caged; paraded in political speeches by the hypocrites who fear it most, (i.e.  when it reflects the values of the majority or beyond our political, religious and socio-economic comfort zones )and tolerated only so long as it sticks to what is anodyne and boring and does not start asking difficult questions or telling embarrassing truths.

In yet another example of how out of touch with reality our leaders are, Theresa May announced on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme that the “British” government’s determination to make “hate,” “extremism” and “Neo-Nazism” illegal.

“British values” as defined by the government are now to become the official values of everyone in the United Kingdom and the multicultural, multiracial and multisexual nature of the state will be rigidly enforced.

It appears that the proposed bill will include a ban on broadcasting “extremist” views without permission and a requirement to submit to the police in advance any proposed publication on the web and social media or in print. The bill may also contain plans for banning orders for “extremist,” “Nazi”or “Fascist” organisations and individuals who seek to undermine democracy or to use “hate speech” in public places.

The proposed legislation will fall short of banning people from saying or publishing anything the Politically Correct do not approve of on the grounds of provoking hatred as this is already covered by the “public order antisemitic, racist or homophobic offences” legislation that already exists. You will be able to say or write what you like so long as nobody hears or reads it. Censorship by any other name still smells of shit.

Though Muslims have been mentioned in the context of the bill there is a sense that this legislation is aimed at indigenous White Nationalists, a group which is rising in prominence in relation to the dispersement of facts on the Internet, as well as fuelling public concern over rising immigration and failing multiculturalism coupled with the increasing oppression of Whites in schools and the workplace through “anti-racism” strategies which target and discriminate against them.

Asked in confidence about the best tactic for going forward under such circumstances, a former British university professor of political science said “The best tactic down history in such a case is for as many individual people to get banned as possible. The more people who get banned the weaker the legislation becomes and the more real street cred this group gains for the future.”

This serves to bind diverse factions intlo a larger political grouping, he went on to explain, something the opposition to multiculturalism and ,globaism previously had failed to achieve. In a sense the government that bans free speech and criminalizes dissent, even by such back door methods, is legitimizing both the counter culture and an alternative political elite in the eyes of its critics.

Groups and individuals never heard of before become significant and achieve publicity possibly for the first time in a controlled-media. The next stage is public free-speech protests against banning orders. The government is taking the most counter – productive route possible and is in effect creating a new political opposition to the politically correct consensus of The Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

Once banned, the individual or group is authenticated in the eyes of other dissenters. Thus they are seen as an alternative to the ruling class when the regime who banned them collapses.

The Professor surely believed he was talking about right wing extremists but his opinions prefectly describe the tactics used to silence opposing views by oppressive governments in Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, Soviet Russia communist China and ‘left wing’ neo fascist groups such as Unite Against Fascism, the Anti Nazi League and the Socialist Workers Party.

One of the great political ironies is that there was very little difference between Hitler’s Nazis and Stalin’s Communists.

An obituary for a wonderful mother – erm, well OK, a shit mother

You’ve never seen an obit like this, from The Reno Gazette – Journal, a local paper in the USA; the story was picked up by USA Today: (h/t Kimberley Ripley, Gather.com for bringing it to my attention.

A scathing obituary written about an elderly Reno woman is unlikely akin to anything you have ever read. There was nothing kind or even remotely memorializing about it. It sends a very distinct message about child abuse.

According to a report, one of Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick’s surviving adult children wrote the obituary and it appeared both in the print edition and online.

“She is survived by six of her eight children whom she spent her lifetime torturing in every way possible…,” the obituary reads. It goes on to describe how the 78-year-old woman tortured her children.

Daughter Katherine Reddick is just one of those surviving children–and the author of the obituary. It’s clear she spent a lifetime enduring the wrath of her late mother.

Read this scathing obituary in its entirety to get an idea of just how vile a woman Marianna Theresa Johnson-Reddick must have been. And after doing so you will likely be grateful for the people in your life who have treated you with kindness. Hopefully your obituary or that of anyone else you may know won’t read anything at all like Johnson-Reddick’s did.

The Obit
Marianne Theresa John­son-Reddick born Jan 4, 1935 and died alone on August 30, 2013. She is sur­vived by her 6 of 8 children whom she spent her lifetime torturing in every way pos­sible. While she neglected and abused her small chil­dren, she refused to allow anyone else to care or show compassion towards them. When they became adults she stalked and tortured anyone they dared to love. Everyone she met, adult or child was tortured by her cruelty and exposure to violence, criminal activity, vulgarity, and hatred of the gentle or kind human spirit.

On behalf of her children whom she so abrasively ex­posed to her evil and vio­lent life, we celebrate her passing from this earth and hope she lives in the after­life reliving each gesture of violence, cruelty, and shame that she delivered on her children. Her surviv­ing children will now live the rest of their lives with the peace of knowing their nightmare finally has some form of closure.

Most of us have found peace in helping those who have been exposed to child abuse and hope this message of her final the delightful passing can re­vive our message that abus­ing children is unforgive­able, shameless, and should not be tolerated in a “hu­mane society”. Our greatest wish now, is to stimulate a national movement that mandates a purposeful and dedicated war against child abuse in the United States of America.
