French Intellectual Jailed for Calling Mass Immigration an “Invasion”

French intellectual Renaud Camus (above) has been conditionally sentenced to 2 months imprisonment for arguing that mass immigration in Europe represents an “invasion.”

Under the weird French legal sysyem Camus can only avoid prison time by paying 1800 euros to two far – left, “anti-racist” organizations, SOS Racisme and the LICRA (International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism).

Summit.news reports: The writer, who is the author of Le Grand Remplacement (The Great Replacement), was charged with “public incitement to hate or violence on the basis of origin, ethnicity, nationality, race or religion.”

The conviction stems from a November 2017 speech in Colombey-les-deux Eglises to the National Council of European Resistance in which Camus declared, “Immigration has become an invasion.”

“The irreversible colonization is demographic colonization, by the replacement of the population,” said the author, adding, “The ethnic substitution, the great replacement, is the most important event in the history of our nation since it has existed; as with other people, if the story continues, it will not be that of France.”

Whether you agree with the French author or not, his words could in no way constitute ““public incitement to hate or violence on the basis of origin, ethnicity, nationality, race or religion,” in the mind of any reasonable person. The far – left are, as has been proved many times by their behaviour, the most unreasonable, intolerant, bigoted and racist people on the planet. One of their goals, which they are coming uncomfortable close to achieving thanks to politics, the legal system and law enforcement falling under the control of cultural Marxists, is to silence all dissenting opinions so their autgoritarian, ideologically driven, quasi – religious agenda of destroying European civilisation.

Camus also called for a “national consensus of resistance” to oppose Islamization in “the struggle for the salvation of our common civilization, Celtic, Slavic, Germanic, Greek-Latin, Judeo-Christian.”

The part of Camus’ speech that specifically garnered the attention of judges was when he talked about European people being replaced.

Camus said mass immigration “is the substitution, the tendency to substitute everything with its emulator, normalized, standardized, interchangeable: The original with its copy, the authentic with its imitation, the true with the false, the mothers with surrogate mothers, the culture with free time and entertainment.”

Immigration problems have plagued France for a long time due to immigrants from former colobies in Africa being encouraged to congregate and turn certain city suburbs into lawless ghettos. More recently the country has suffered Islamic terror attacks on such a routine basis that it’s barely even an important news story anymore. Muslim migrants are also known to be responsible for the upsurge in anti – Semitic attacks on synagogues, Jewish owned businesses and Jewish people. Many of those responsible for such attacks are young Muslim males radicalized by mosques that escape any police scrutiny because government policy forces police to prioritize the avoidance of anything which may increase inter – racisl tensions.

All this is well documented fact but Camus is being punished for his crime of having opinions the globalist government and its far – left, anti – white supporters are not prepared to tolerate.

UK Intellectuals Break Ranks with Pro-EU Academic Establishment

Not before time, the more open minded among Britain’s intellectual and managerial class are deserting the neo – Nazi left dominated politically correct consensus and joining together to form a new pro-Brexit group with the aim of providing some balance to the propaganda that Leave supporters, University brainwashed neo fascist and globalist authoritarians and rent – seeking politicians have spread, which holds that people who voted to leave the EU are dim-witted, racist, ‘low-information’ voters.

The ‘Briefings for Britain’group, which has launched a new website offering a more informed and less scaremongering vision of what may happen after brexit, is backed by over 40 distinguished academics former senior civil servants, business managers, legal professionals, philosophers, scientists, and others — and claims there are more like them who are still afraid to voice their true opinions because ‘the left’ (i.e. the Euronazis,) dominate the professions, academic life and the state sector.

“People contacted us and said, ‘I’d love to be part of your group but I haven’t got a proper job yet and I probably won’t if I’m identified’,” explained Dr. Graham Gudgin, an economist at the Centre for Business Research, University of Cambridge, in comments to The Times.

“One of our contributors said he was told by a younger pro-Brexit colleague that his professor had told him that people who voted Brexit were the sort of people who sent his relatives to concentration camps,” he added. Such idiotic comments serve to remind us how ill – informed and detached from reality many academics are. It was people like today’s leave voters who fought against the authoritarian regime that operated concentration camps as part of their plan to create a single European superstate.

Professor Tombs was also at pains to point out that the efforts of the so-called ‘Remain Resistance’ to stop Brexit have made it imperative that groups like his continue to put the case for Leave — especially now that 87-year-old billionaire, advocate of a global totalitarian government and long term meddler in national politics George Soros has thrown his considerable financial weight behind the EU loyalists. “[His] support for the pro-Remain campaign shows there is a lot of big money behind hardline Remainers, whose interests have little to do with the interests of the country as a whole,” Tombs said.

When a traditionally left wing publication like The New Statesman turns on The Labour leader you can be sure the party is in bigger trouble than anyone involved with it is ever going to admit.

Labour has not only lost touch with the working class that always made up its core vote, the intellectuals now despise the working classes whose concernes are casually dismissed as racist and bigoted. Instead they suck up to the gay and lesbian communities, extremists religious minorities (so long as they are not Christian extremists) and corporate businessmen who favour replacing democracy with a totalitarian world government and the kind of strangers to reality who think equal rights for paedophiles could ever be a vote winner.

In a devastating critique of Ed Miliband, the editor of the left-wing weekly, the New Statesman, has accused him of being an “old-style Hampstead socialist who has failed to find an authentic voice to connect with the electorate”.

“He doesn’t really understand the lower middle class or material aspiration,” writes Jason Cowley in this week’s editorial. “He doesn’t understand Essex Man or Woman. Politics for him must seem at times like an extended PPE seminar: elevated talk about political economy and the good society…”

Nor does Miliband have a “back story” that might capture the public imagination, says Cowley. “[He] does not have a compelling personal story to tell the electorate, as Thatcher did about her remarkable journey from the grocer’s shop in Grantham and the values that sustained her along the way, or Alan Johnson does about his rise from an impoverished childhood in west London.

“ ‘I went to Oxford to study PPE, worked for Gordon Brown, became a cabinet minister and then leader of the party’ does not quite do it. None of this would matter were Miliband in manner and approach not so much the product of this narrow background…”

The attack is particularly upsetting to Team Miliband because the Statesman went out of its way to endorse Ed for the leadership in 2010.

When the leading publication among left wing intellectuals is doing a hatchet job like that on the party leader, himself a Fabian Society intellectual, only six months before a general election, it does give the impression they don’t want to win.

Poor Ed, I like him as a person no matter how misguided or daft his politics may be, but he really was handed an impossible task. When someone waves his academic qualifications at me and expects me to give a damn, it pisses me off. Since the blog started it has worked on the principle that everybody is entitled to their opinion and everybody’s opinion is worth equal respect.

Thus the kind of cupid stunt who tries to hide arrogant stupidity behind a qualification or a job title is not going get very far, neither is the type of dipstick whose idea of logic is to assume that because I don’t believe anything Barack Obama, David Cameron, Francois Hollande or any other western leader say, I must therefore believe everything Vladimir Putin says. I don’t believe anything he says either although it is amusing to observe how much better he is at playing politics than his western counterparts.

Again we get back to the failure of logic on the part of those who back up claims of intellectual superiority with bits of paper. The ineptitude of western leaders at lying and deception is not the proof of integrity, only of inadequacy. Not all academics are so closed minded and bigoted however, come are prepared to consider evidence and judge a case on its merits. Like these guys for example:

A large group prominent Dutch academics and intellectuals led by Professor Cees Hamelink has sent an open letter to Russian president Vladimir Putin apologising for the way Russia has been unfairly accused of warmongering. Although unreported in UK media it has attracted a lot of attention in Europe.

Part of the letter reads:

“Dear Mr. President Putin, Please accept our apologies on behalf of a great many people here in the Netherlands for our Government and our Media. The facts concerning MH17 are twisted to defame you and your country.”

It continues;

“You have saved us from a conflict in Syria that could have escalated into a World War” and “Russia is wrongly accused, without evidence or investigation, of delivering the weapons systems that allegedly brought down MH17. For this reason Western Governments claim they have a right to economically pressure Russia.

“It’s unfortunately true, that our media have lost all independence and are just mouthpieces for the Powers that Be. Because of this, Western people tend to have a warped view of reality and are unable to hold their politicians to account.”

Are the spadefuls of praise for Heaney justified

Are we allowed to speak ill of the recently dead? The general convention is No, we are not and when the dead are darlings of the inellectual elite we are usually expected to shovel on the hyperbole in praise of their talents, real or otherwise. But Boggart Blog was never inclined to follow the crowd especially when the honest response is to say “let’s face it he was a bit shite”. So let it be with the late Seamus Heaney.

Over the past few days Heaney has been called “a colossus”. Liam Neeson, a man whose acting ability has often been compared to that of a plank said “he defined our place in the universe”. Andrew Motion (onetime British poet laureate) referred to him as “great”. Heaney’s local university (Queens, Belfast) asserted that: “His contribution to the world of literature has introduced millions of people around the globe to the enjoyment of poetry.”

Really? as someone who has seen my modest scribbling appear in print I would say Heaney, along with his late best mate Ted Hughes was the kind of elitist tosser who put people off poetry for life. Their was the generation of literature professors who believed poetry was something to be written by literature professors for literature professors. If ordinary punters could understand your verse or even worse enjoy it, you were a bad poet.

So what is this brilliant poetry that, according to the hype, has seduced “millions of people”? Can anyone spontaneously remember a single line of Seamus Heaney? When novelist Sean Thomas asked this question of Twitter he reports his laptop screen filled with tumbleweed while the speakers gave out the sound of a soughing wind punctuated by the funereal ringing of a single bell in the old adobe Mission Hall, until someone eventually suggested that Heaney’s memorable talent was, arguably, proven by this line: “Between my finger and thumb, the squat pen rests, I’ll dig with it.”

Well, yes, that line resonates in the memory doesn’t it? We hear it quoted whenever people gather to reflect on digging, thumbs, squatting, and pens that metaphorically resemble spades.

Fintan O’Toole in The Irish Times, wrote a two page paean to the Nobel prize-winning bard. In that understated way so typical of the Irish he said “Seamus Heaney made us gasp in wonder that, for all its follies and terrors, Irish culture had such a person in it…” “The great maker of such phrases will not be lost, for he is among the immortals now…” Then he gave an example of an “immortal” Heaney phrase:

Two buckets were easier carried than one.

Well bugger me with the blunt end of a ragman’s trumpet, I’ve had it wrong all these years. Poetry is not about the magic of language, the ability of words to evoke emotions, it is about bland truisms. My doltish teachers always told us to avoid cliche and we, fools that we were believed them.

Forget lines like:

My name is Ozymandias, king of kings,
look on my works you mighty and despair,

or

But at my back I always hear
Time’s winged chariot hurrying near;
And yonder all before us lie
Deserts of vast eternity.

or

The mirror crack’d from side to side;
“The curse is come upon me,” cried
The Lady of Shalott.

or

And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

or

cold winds do shake the darling buds of May
and summer’s lease hath all too short a date.

because it is all about carrying buckets.

But isn’t poetry supposed to be about love and loss, our relationship with the divine or the splendours of love FFS? OK, I can hear all the protests. Modern poetry isn’t about rising above the daily grind, it is meant to be awkward, dull, obscure, and forgettable, like the working class people elitist intellectual poets look down on. It is about people who sit in ivory towers and imagine the miserable, joyless lives, of drudgery and suffering lived farm hands, mill girls, rude mechanicals, webfoot cockle – women and tidy wives. The Hughes / Heaney school of poetry, for all the poets pretensions to working class origins never understood the sensuality and rich humour of working class life.

Some late twentieth century poets did and managed to write lines that were beautiful and memorable and made you sit up and go “Fuck me, that could be about my life.”.

I bet you know a few phrases of Philip Larkin. “They fuck you up your mum and dad, they may not mean to, but they do,” Or “What will survive of us is love.”

And maybe a few people are familiar with these lines:

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

or what about the poet of suburbia, John Betjeman, and the wit and irony of:

“Miss Joan Hunter Dunn, Miss Joan Hunter Dunn,
furnished and burnished by Aldershot sun”

or

“Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough!
It isn’t fit for humans now,
There isn’t grass to graze a cow.
Swarm over, Death!

And what about the gobsmackingly brilliant Dylan Thomas poem “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night“, which is so good it would be a crime to select one or two lines so I recommend you click the link and read it all.

Seamus Heaney is simply not singing from the same song sheet as these guys.

Obama The Philosopher President

In anew book to be published soon Havard Philosophy Professor James T Kloppenberg (that is not a Boggart Blog piss take, it’s his real name OK)hails Barack Obama as a true intellectual and dubs him The Philosopher President.

It is feasible of course. All intellectuals are useless fuckers when it comes to anything practical and when did philosophy buy any potatoes?

Stating The Effing Obvious Industry Will Rebuild Our Economy

The government and the opposition have a big idea for rebuilding the economy. It is based on a delusional belief that the “scientific research” being carried on in Universities will lead to the creation of “intellectual properties” that can be “monetized” by entepreneurs.

While their zealots’ faith in science and technology can be admired (if only for the depth of it’s detachment from reality) can anyone see people in the developing world paying for the patented knowledge that, to cite an example from one of our recent reports, if you feed mice a diet of deep fried lard with lard sauce and a side order of lard and then take away their mouse wheel so they can’t exercise they get fat. Or for example that the human brain is very complicated as one research team found last year;

or that in spite of the hundred of very clever but lacking in nous people around the world studying the Universe and all the gobsmacking squilliobs of pounds, dollars and Euros spent on their efforts to understand the Universe we actually know fuck all about it in relation to what there is to know and worse, as one recent research project showed everything we thought we knew is wrong. Are people going to pay for stuff like that?

Are millions of jobs in mouse science and star gazing going to be created for nerds with personal hygiene issues, bad skin and an unhealthy obsession with vitual sex? And if so where will we recruit enough of such people?

One team of researchers, not British admittedly, last week proved the futility of science and showed the existentialist philosophers are right and everything is indeed pointless. They launched a project which will use lots os stupendously expensive brain scanners operated by lots of stupendously expensive people in an attempt to learn why people like to read boooks and magazines.

Bearing in mind I have no qualifications in psychology or any other medical science, nor do I have a brain scanner at my disposal, I am going to run a spoiler by revealing the answer:

People like to read books and magazines because it gives them pleasure.

I wonder how I can patent and monetize that piece of intellectual property.
