We usually think of terrorists as a pretty dour, intense lot of buggers, and that especially applies to those whose cause is defined by religious fanaticism. Thus nobody expects much irony, satire or parody from the ISIS fighters in the middle east. They do provide a kind of slapstick at times, but it is not intentional, so it is a surprise to find the movement does have a rather wonderful sense of Irony, as this story demonstrates.

ISIS Puts Captured Roman Amphitheatre Back Into Use as Venue for Execution as Entertainment

A Roman ampitheatre has been returned to its original use as a venue for public execution of prisoners before an audience. For the first time in many centuries, killing people has become a form of popular entertainment after ISIS forces captured the classical ruins at Palmyra.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports up to twenty prisoners, mostly captured Syrian soldiers who tried to defend the historic site from the Islamic State fighters were put to death before an audience of militants and locals. The human rights group states the people executed in the amphitheatre were among approximately 70 people executed in the area so far.

The 2,000 year-old amphitheatre is in the ruins of a city which is considered one of the most important architectural sites in the world.

The deliberate destruction caused to other ancient monuments captured by the Islamic State has caused widespread concern worldwide over the future of the UNESCO listed world heritage site at Palmyra.

Many relics of ancient middle eastern civilizations have been smashed with pneumatic drills and sledgehammers, blown up or bulldozed.

The execution of captive soldiers and criminals as a spectator sport was widespread in ampitheatres across the Roman world from the reign of emperor Augustus (31 BC – AD 14). Criminals were sometimes required to act in plays where characters were required to actually die on stage, while others were required to fight wild animals or trained gladiators.

Secret Informant Played Key Role In Helping FBI Foil Its Own Terror Plot

On Wednesday in Washington, The FBI announced the arrest of three men it alleges planned to help the Islamic State, news intended to stoke fears that Islamic extremism is spreading to the United States.

“The flow of foreign fighters to Syria represents an evolving threat to our country and to our allies,” U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch said in a press release announcing the arrests. “We will vigorously prosecute those who attempt to travel to Syria to wage violent jihad on behalf of ISIL and those who support them.”

Omitted from the FBI statement however, is the role of a paid informant in generating the charges against the men. The intruction of this third party acted as a catalyst, turning a couple of fantasists whose ” terrorist plots” were on a par with the late Peter Cook’s character E L Wisty, founder and leader of the world domination society, into something even slightly believable. It appears that none of the three men had either the intelligence or the financial means to travel or support the Islamic State, without help from the FBI informant.

Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, 24, and Akhror Saidakhmetov 19, are alleged to have made arrangements to travel to Syria, and also to have expressed willingness to conduct attacks in the United States “if ordered to do so” by the group. A third man, Abror Habibov, 30, was arrested in Florida and charged with helping provide financial support for their travel plans.

According to the criminal charges against the three, the FBI first began investigating Juraboev after he made postings on Uzbek-language social media sites in August 2014 praising the Islamic State and pledging allegiance to them. While these postings were made anonymously, Juraboev neglected to conceal his IP address.

When FBI agents visited him, he reiterated these violent and criminal desires, stating his willingness to kill President Obama if he were ordered to do so by any member of Islamic State, and also telling the agents he was willing to “plant a bomb on Coney Island if so ordered by ISIL”.

In the interviews, Juraboev also mentioned Saidakhmetov, 19, as someone who shared his basic views and desire to travel to areas controlled by the Islamic State. Transcripts of a recorded conversation between the two in mid-September show them apparently expressing their desire to travel to Syria via Istanbul, and trying to determine logistics of the trip.

Shortly after this, the FBI introduced them to a ‘confidential informant’, who “approached Juraboev at a mosque, while posing as an ideologically sympathetic individual, and met Saidakhmetov the same day.” The informant befriended the two men, who told him of their desire to go to Syria. According to the criminal complaint, the informant was paid for his services and was perceived by the defendants to be an “older and more experienced person.”

An experienced suicide bomber, that’s exactly the kind of mentor every aspiring terrorist needs.

Over the next several months the informant evidently developed a relationship of trust with both Juraboev and Saidakhmetov, even possibly moving into an apartment with Juraboev, and convincing both of them that he intended to travel to Syria and join Islamic State.

Saidakhmetov was arrested on Feb. 25 at JFK airport in New York as he arrived to board his flight to Istanbul. In the run-up to his arrest, he had also allegedly proposed a plan to gain control cockpit and “[divert] the plane to the Islamic State, so that the Islamic State would gain a plane.” Juraboev, not scheduled to leave for Turkey until March 29, and Habibov, were also arrested on the same day at separate locations.

After first making contact with Juraboev in August 2014, seven months elapsed until FBI agents the arrested the trio. During this time, the group stayed under close surveillance, and an informant was introduced who was evidently older and considered to be “more experienced” by the defendants.

It seems clear from the evidence (published on a whistleblower site only accessible to members – see our post on Little Nicky Machiavelli about the US government’s Ministry of Love site) that plans to actually commit criminal acts were only discussed after the introduction of the FBI informant.

A 2011 study conducted by US liberal news site Mother Jones and the Investigative Reporting Program at the University of California-Berkeley found that of 508 post-9/11 terrorist suspects actually charged with crimes, “Nearly half the prosecutions involved the use of informants, many of them incentivized by money,” with operatives being paid as much as $100,000 per assignment. Of the sting operations that resulted in terrorism arrests, nearly a third are believed to have been led by an agent provocateur in the employ of the FBI.

Well who’d have thought it, except me, Mike St Mark and a few million hard nosed realists with nasty, suspicious minds maybe.

As Migrants Pour Into Italy ISIS Say: Overrun Europe with Immigrants and "Turn it into Hell’

It is well reported that western intervention in Libya, for the purpose of overthrowing Gaddafi resulted in the North African nation going from the most prosperous and modern nation in Africa to a lawless failed state in the space of three years. Now we learn that ISIS aka Islamic State, the terrorist army that plans to establish a caliphate, has gained a hold on the country. And it gets worse …

An ISIS report obtained by Libyan media in January, reveals that the Islamic State are planning to use Libya “to get to Europe,” and overrun it with illegal migrants to “turn it into hell.” According to the report, ISIS considers “illegal immigration” to be a privileged channel of access to the Old Continent.

This of course is due to lax rules established by the elitists and out of touch rulers of the EU, unelected bureaucrats whose grip on reality is made tenuous by the insanity of politically correct insanity with which they have all been indoctrinated during higher education.

Libya has become a huge assembly point for Africans fleeing poverty, civil war, political corruption and hunger in that continents many failed states, desperate to get to Italy and claim refugee status, before taking advantage of the lack of border controls and heading deeper into Europe. Italy, drowning in debt and teetering on the edge of defaulting on its obligations, fears the wave of immigrants landing on its shores, will plunge the country into chaos and civil conflict.

Even prior to last Saturday’s murder of 21 Coptic Christians in Egypt by terrorists who crossed from Libya, warning signs that Libya was becoming the latest and deadliest outpost of the Islamic State were apparent. Libya’s institutional vacuum due to the failure to establish a ruling authority following the overthrow of Gaddafi by US, UK and French military forces (the FUKUS axis) has created an ideal environment for terrorists.

Former Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has said the Islamic State will control a territory on the Mediterranean coast “within two months” if the West does not intervene.

Thousands of people have been arriving in Libya in recent months, having been offered the prospect of getting out of North Africa. They are now crammed into refugee camps, creating a situation of chaos. In such a situation it is easy for terrorists trained to shoot or bomb to merge into the crowds.

According to one report, analysts now believe that the risk of a major terror attack on Italian territory is more concrete than ever before. The hypothesis considered most likely is that a mass exodus of at least two hundred thousand foreigners has crowded onto barges bound for Europe.

*The picture (top) may be posed, we do not know, but the people on the boat look clean and happy. There have been cases however of such boats being towed by small fishing vessels having been cut free when Italian coastguards were sighted, so that the human traffickers might try to escape arrest.

As usual Boggart Blog is totally against Britain becoming embroiled in another sectarian conflict in the middle east (the theme tune of which will be I Hate You Babe by Sunni and Shia.)

It looks however very much as though or parlimentarians who are debating the issue of whether we should join in the Obama administration’s air strikes on the Islamic State forces in Iraq will approve our return to the killing fields of Iraq.

But rather than send our clapped out, thirty year old warplanes to fire rockets and heavy calibre cannons and drop bombs on the IS, bearing in mind these guys are all fundamentalist Muslims we have a better idea. We can beat the Islamic State without shedding blood.

All we have to do is get our Kurdish allies fire bacon rolls from Mortars while US and British cargo planes drop Lard Bombs from cargo planes. At meddle east surface temperatures the lard will be soft when it hits the ground and will splatter over a wide area, taking out many IS fighters as their Imams declare them unclean.

Better still, to drive the fundamentalists out of the occupied area altogether liquify the lard by mixing it with vegetable oil, stir in pureed SPAM and spray the whole area with the resulting mixture from high flying planes adapted for the job. If the Islamists touch anything or even breathe in any droplets they are unclean and cannot fight because if they die they can’t get into heaven, no eternal life singing the praises of Allah, no virgins, nothing.

Our solution is humane (although not very good for pigs used to make bacon, SPAM and Lard), non lethal, biodegradable, and quite cheap compared to smart bombs that cost £2million a bang and no matter what target they are programmed to hit will seek out and destroy the only wedding party in a ten thousand square mile area.

I’m always a bit wary about referring to The Daily Mail because mere mention of that rather sensationalist but immensely popular newspaper (compare its circulation figures with those of The Guardian or The Independent) is likely to attract a Two Minutes Hate session from Britain’s biggest fascist movement, Unite Against Fascism, Britain’s biggest Nazi movement, The Anti Nazi League and all the left wing Sheeple who unthinkingly follow their rabid attempts to prevent intelligent conversation.

Many of us are confused about what is going on in the Middle East however, and The Mail has run an article that sums it up perfectly. I don’t read The Mail myself but sometimes follow links to specific items of content and unlike our Labour and Lib Dem supporting neo -fascist friends I’m open minded enough to know that the fact something has been published in The Daily Mail does not necessarily mean it is wrong.

So as clueless Dave prepares to follow Obama into yet another unwinnable war (lets hope Parliament kicks him in the balls again) and I know my leftie readers are too bigoted to follow a link to the Mail I’ll summarise the article for you.

We support the Iraqi government in it’s fight against Islamic State (IS/ISIL/ISIS/Alky Ada/The Silent Three/The Famous Five/whatever they are called this week). Our leaders say IS poses an existential threat to the west (now where have we heard something like that before?) but IS is supported (i.e. funded) by Saudi Arabia whom we do like (because they have oil, lots of oil.)so even though they are a bunch of fanatical Islamist theocrats we are their allies.

We don’t like President Assad in Syria because he only has a bit of oil, but our leaders can’t fight him because he’s best mates with Putin (who has oil AND gas and threatens to turn off the tap if we attack his friends).

IS are fighting Assad. We support their fight against him by giving them weapons and sending military advisers to train up human organ noshing terrorists on how to use them. But though we don’t want to fight the IS terrorists who are trying to overthrow the Syrian government because assad is our enemy, we do (we are told) have to fight the IS terrorists who are fighting the Iraqi government who are our puppets friends.

We don’t like Iran because like Saudi Arabia they are a bunch of Islamist Theocrats except they are the wrong sort of Islamists, but the Iranian government supports the Iraqi government against IS and we support the Iraqi government against IS.

Therefore some of our friends are our enemies and some of our enemies are our friends, and some of our enemies are fighting our other enemies, and some of our friends are fighting our other friends. We don’t want our friends to lose unless they are fighting our other friends, and we don’t want our enemies to win unless they are fighting our other enemies.

If we respond to Obama’s demand for support we will not know if we are fighting our friends or our enemies because they change their names more often than they change their shirts.

If we join Obama’s coalition of the terminally confused and help our friends defeat our enemies we may find our friends are even more repugnant than the enemies we helped them defeat (remember what happened in Libya)

What more obvious reason could there be for going to war.

UK Must Work With Assad To Combat ISIS? Laugh, I Nearly Shat.

About two years ago the left-wing Nazis and other want-war oddballs were screaming for our government and the rest of the EU to support calls to war from President Hopey – Changey, Nobel PEACE Prize Obama, who wanted to send in troops under the cover of air strikes to help the brave, democracy loving, human organ noshing freedom fighters overthrow the brutal tyrant Assad.

I came in for some criticism for suggesting we should stay out of Syria and all other local conflicts in the middle east and that while tyrants like Assad, Saddam and Gadaffi were authoritarian and oppressive at least they maintained a kind of order compared to what would replace them.
About a year ago, frustrated by Assad’s refusal to crumble and angered by the resistance of russia, China and Iran in resisting the planned American hegemony, Obama tried again. A poisoned gas attack for which the USA was too quick to blame forces loyal to Assad was proved to be a false flag incident, the gas having been fired by members of the terrorist rabble the USA had stitched together with funding and free weapons to fight Obama’s proxy war in the middle east

Again the ‘liberal’ want – war brigade tried to deny the mountain of evidence pointing to American efforts to manipulate events and provoke a regional war. And then things went quiet for a while. In the lull, the terrorist rabble, armed with American weapons supplied via internediaries like Turkey and Qatar, trained by American military advisers and funded by American and Saudi Arabian money formed ISIL / ISIS / Islamic state and set about re – establishing the medieval Islamic Caliphate complete with public floggings and beheadings, women being treated as their father’s or husband’s property and theocratic governments to enforce Sharia Law. And that’s what our ‘dark-skin-good-pale-skin-bad’ progressive liberals call as result is it? One delusional idiot who thinks he can impress us by waving his academic qualifications in our faces commented in the usual sneering tone of someone with the kind of absofuckinglute certainty of his superiority that can only come from having less brain cells than testicles, commented, “You can’t call what existed under those tyrants order.”

Can’t I? A recent poll showed 70% of Libyans think life was better under Assad. Over 50% of Syrians supported Assad all through the civil war (if they hadn’t he would not still be in power. We are witnessing in every television news bulletin the folly of overthrowing Saddam but lacking the commitment to leave an occupying army in his place.

Britain must co-operate with President Assad, the Syrian dictator, in order to confront Isil, the former head of the Army has said. General Lord Dannatt, the former Chief of General Staff, said the West must secure the permission of the Syrian government in order to launch airstrikes on Islamist militants.

The remarks came as US General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said strikes inside Syria are necessary to defeat the organisation.

General Lord Dannatt’s comments come almost a year since David Cameron lost a Commons vote authorising air strikes on President Assad in response to chemical weapons attacks on civilians – action that would likely have toppled him from power.

Britain and its allies have repeatedly called for Assad to step down to bring the three-year civil war that spawned Isil to an end.

“The Syrian dimension has got to be addressed. You cannot deal with half a problem,” he said. Isil must be “opposed, confronted and defeated” in Iraq and Syria before it spreads through the region, Lord Dannatt told BBC Radio 4.

I don’t know what is is about the left wing mindset that produces such an immutable inability to learn from past mistakes but just as socialist governments always a) screw up the economy of the country they govern and b) drift towards fascism and coercive law enforcement, so they are unable to understand from numerous failures that many nations around the world are just not ready for minority friendly, immigration obessed, nanny state pseudo-democracy. What makes their stupidity worse of course it when the social democratic model they try to impose fails they always attempt to prop it up by dropping bombs. I wonder if by now my critics will have learned enough common sense to STF up and see how things play out. And I will look forward to a grovelling apology from one academic clown. He needn’t think that any comment other than a grovelling apology will stay in the thread for long.

We Will Raise The Flag Of Allah In The White House Say ISIS Leaders

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or Islamic State for short has a nice line in chutzpah, which seems a very Jewish quality for Islamists. Their leaders have issued a video via Vice media which warns the United States that it plans to attack America and raise “the flag of Allah in the White House.”

“I say to America that the Islamic caliphate has been established,” Abu Mosa, a spokesman for the terror group currently causing mayhem in northern Iraq, told Vice Media in a video interview posted online Thursday.

“Don’t be cowards and attack us with drones. Instead send your soldiers, the ones we humiliated in Iraq. We will humiliate them everywhere, God willing, and we will raise the flag of Allah in the White House.”

The bitter irony here of course is that ISIS and it’s parent Al Qaeda were not just born out of American meddling in middle eastern politics, this latest, most violent and most directly threatening to the peace and stability of western nation were funded by money from America and its middle eastern allies, its well organised and disciplined fighters were trained by American, British and French (the FUKUS axis) ‘military advisers’ and they are armed with weapons and munitions from FUKUS axis defence contractors (usually via intermediaries such as Turkey and Qatar as we learned during the Syria conflict).

Now I’m not a military strategist but it seems to me the most insane thing a nation can do in any conflict situation is train and arm its enemies.
