Our taxpayer – funded national broadcester The BBC has warned white people to not bother applying for an entry level job in Glasgow, in the the most blatant to date demonstration of anti-white bigotry from the leftie – run corporation.

A job advert posted by Creative Access — a firm that seeks to increase minority representation in the media and the arts — said that the BBC’s Science Unit in Glasgow was seeking non white applicants for a one-year, £17,810 per year trainee production management assistant position.

A spokesperson for the recruitment agency that placed the ad said the position was “only open to black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates,” according to The Mail on Sunday. Now a lot of leftoies will chant in chorus “You can’t believe anything you read in the Main, demonstrating again the anti British sentiments that pervade left wing thinking.

Joe Ventre campaign manager for the Taxpayers’ Alliance, said: “BBC bosses shouldn’t be supporting race-based recruiting with taxpayers’ money. Taking an approach like this further undermines confidence in the Corporation and their use of licence fee payers’ cash.”

While positive discrimination was made illegal under the Equality Act of 2010, there is a loophole for ‘positive action’ to discriminate on the basis of race or gender for trainee and internship roles within companies.”

The cooperation between the BBC and the Creative Access agency in discouraging white applicants has been longstanding, with Breitbart London reporting in 2016 that the firm advertised for four positions for the public broadcaster for “Black, Asian and non-white minority ethnic backgrounds”.

What is particularly noticable in this case and others like it is the absence of outrage from feminists, communist, Gay BLT and equal opportunities organisation including the Trade Unions. But then hypocrisy and double standards were always the stock in trade of left wing organisations and their supporters.

What is being proposed in this recruitment campaign is unlawful positive discrimination but subtle obfuscatory terms such as “positive action” are used to circumvent the precison and scepifity of the way discrimination law is worded. Weasel words are another speciality of the racist, virtue signalling left. The BBC and their contractors must be called to accout and requires to explain how “positive action” in favour of one group does not constitute “positive discrimination against another.”

The result is exactly the same. And it is blatantly obvious to every intelligent person old enough to have missed or strong enough to have resisted the indoctrination and brainwashing they are subjected to in the left dominated education and higher education systems.

Has everybody forgotten these words spoken by Martin Luter King slightly over 50 years ago: “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.”

To the rabid extremists of the modern left, even the 1960s civil rights leader MLK is a racist now. According to the pseudo – intellectual bullshit passed off as philosophy in academic institutions King was guilty of what they call Colourblind racism and what intelligent, articulate people whose uttering are not tainted by Cultural Marxist bullshit call open mindedness. People who subscribe to colorblind explanations claim they do not see the color of people’s skin and believe everyone to be equal. The cultural Marxists of the far left claim Colorblindness prevents us from seeing the historical causes of racial inequality and how racial inequality persists in our society.

Their fear is that if we treat everybody equally then there are no victims, and those useless whiners who make a nice living in the race baiting industry which has its snout deeply inserted in the trough of taxpayers money will be out on their arses.

BBC presenter and botanist James Wong has been mocked online after going on a wild Saturday Twitter rant accusing “gardening culture” in the UK of being racist.

Wong – who has presented several BBC shows, including Countryfile, and serves as an ambassador for London’s Kew Gardens – made the bizarre claim in a series of Twitter posts.

Replying to another tweet that claimed gardens are not allowed “political agency” because they’ll “reveal uncomfortable politics of individual ownership” and “spatial inequity,” Wong wrote, “Absolutely U.K. gardening culture has racism baked into its DNA. It’s so integral that when you point out it’s existence, people assume you are against gardening, not racism.”

Parents Support Posh School Head For Blocking Lesson On Black History Month, But Only Anonymously

Parents have stepped up to defend the head teacher of a Kent boarding school after her groveling apology for offending students by tracing the roots of the UK’s Black History Month to a 1926 US observance of ‘Negro History Week’.

Samantha Price, head teacher of Benenden girls’ school, “unreservedly” apologized for her use of the word “Negro” during the assembly, historically contextualized as it may have been, noting some pupils had complained the term was offensive and appeared to have confused it with a similar-sounding racial slur.

While several parents stepped up to back the headmistress, none who spoke to the Times of London on Monday were willing to give their names, suggesting they, too, might be afraid of backlash, whether against themselves or their children from others at the school.

While just a handful of parents were willing to speak up for Price to the Times, including one prominent surgeon of South Asian descent who called her a “wonderful headmistress” for trying to promote “education and debate,” none who were quoted were willing to give their real names. This would suggest that the head teacher’s apology may have had less to do with a few pupils’ complaints and more to do with forces present outside the school environment.

So we see another example in which fear of Black Lives Matter terrorists and the brutality and violence they use to stifle opposition stifles honest debate.

Britain’s former equalities chief Trevor Phillips has criticised the “woke ultras” who want to destroy symbols of British history, such as statues and names of buildings, warning that a society that damns its past “promises dark days ahead”.

The former chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission has claimed that the progressive movement “has been captured by ultras”, and “woke revolutionists’” lust for destroying symbols of the past that are remotely considered to be connected to slavery or racism portend the “crushing of dissent in the future”.

“History matters. Every revolution starts with the destruction of the symbols of the past and often the elimination of those who resist abolishing them,” Mr Phillips wrote for The Times on Friday. He gave examples of the French Revolution and Cambodia’s Pol Pot era where history was abolished and time was reset to “Year One” and “Year Zero”, respectively.

Mr Phillips also poured scorn on those “woke anti-imperialists” and their “street theatre”, who despite acting as if they speak for ethnic minorities in Briton and former colonies, likely had their closest encounter with Empire being “an especially hot vindaloo”.

Report: Iowa University Instructor Issues Warning That Not Supporting BLM Is ‘Grounds For Dismissal’

An Iowa State University instructor has issued a warning to students that if they express opinion that isn’t in line with support for Black Lives Matter protesters, or if they hold pro-life opinions they could be dismissed from the institution.

“No arguments against gay marriage, abortion, Black Lives Matter, etc.”

The Young America’s Foundation (YAF) raised a red flag over the warning on a syllabus by Chloe Clark, in which she wrote “Any instances of othering that you participate in intentionally (racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, sorophobia, transphobia, classism, mocking of mental health issues, body shaming, etc.) in class are grounds for dismissal from the classroom.”

Clark added “The same goes for any papers/projects. You cannot choose any topic that takes at its base that one side doesn’t deserve the same basic human rights as you do (i.e. no arguments against gay marriage, abortion, Black Lives Matter, etc.)”

The Daily Caller notes that the YAF was alerted to the warning through its Campus Bias Tip Line.

When contacted by the Daily Caller, the university said that Clark’s syllabus warning is “inconsistent with the university’s standards and its commitment to the First Amendment rights of students.”

A statement by the University noted that “After reviewing this issue with the faculty member, the syllabus has been corrected to ensure it is consistent with university policy,”

“Moreover, the faculty member is being provided additional information regarding the First Amendment policies of the University,” it added.

“It is alarming that a faculty member would think openly declaring her intent to silence dissent is in line with the practice of education or the Constitution,” YAF spokesperson Spencer Brown told the Daily Caller.

The development is part of a trend of the erosion of freedom of expression and opinion on campuses.

Indeed, a recent survey conducted by College Fix found that a majority of conservative students say they ‘self censor’ around others so as not to offend or upset leftists.

“With the current political climate, do you expect to self-censor yourself in class this semester so your professors or peers don’t take offense at your ideas?” the survey asked.

A total of 54 percent of conservatives said they would indeed keep their political views to themselves for this reason.

On the flip side, only 15% of those who identified as Democrats said they would temper their political opinions so as not to cause friction.

A survey conducted last year also found that almost three quarters of conservative students say they are withholding their political views both in class and from their written work for fear that they will be downgraded by leftist professors.

The idea of free speech and freedom of expression has become so warped on campuses that leftist college students believe it’s their ‘right’ to deny others their First Amendment.

Students who have publicly professed conservative opinions have been subjected to investigation and punishment by professors and college officials.

In addition, black and native American students at several colleges and universities are increasingly demanding action against professors and academics who have expressed opinions not directly in line with their own.

Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia is to mandate that all of its students take a “Race and Ethnicity Requirement” course from next year, following consistent demands from the university’s black student group.

A senior researcher at Michigan State University was effectively fired after sharing facts from a study conducted last year that conclusively proved there is no widespread racial bias in police shootings.

At Loyola University New Orleans, students demanded the firing of professor Walter Block over his opinions on slavery, even though he vehemently opposes it.

At UCLA, a professor was suspended for rejecting requests to allow black students to take final exams at a later date as a response to the death of George Floyd and black lives matter protests. Accounting lecturer Gordon Klein was punished for saying that students should not be treated differently according to the colour of their skin.

Meanwhile, other academics have been lauded and rewarded for promoting opinions in line with the woke mob that even Twitter removed for being hateful.

A survey conducted last year also found that almost three quarters of conservative students say they are withholding their political views both in class and from their written work for fear that they will be downgraded by leftist professors.

The idea of free speech and freedom of expression has become so warped on campuses that leftist college students believe it’s their ‘right’ to deny others their First Amendment.

Students who have publicly professed conservative opinions have been subjected to investigation and punishment by professors and college officials.

In addition, black and native American students at several colleges and universities are increasingly demanding action against professors and academics who have expressed opinions not directly in line with their own.

Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia is to mandate that all of its students take a “Race and Ethnicity Requirement” course from next year, following consistent demands from the university’s black student group.

A senior researcher at Michigan State University was effectively fired after sharing facts from a study conducted last year that conclusively proved there is no widespread racial bias in police shootings.

At Loyola University New Orleans, students demanded the firing of professor Walter Block over his opinions on slavery, even though he vehemently opposes it.

At UCLA, a professor was suspended for rejecting requests to allow black students to take final exams at a later date as a response to the death of George Floyd and black lives matter protests. Accounting lecturer Gordon Klein was punished for saying that students should not be treated differently according to the colour of their skin.

Meanwhile, other academics have been lauded and rewarded for promoting opinions in line with the woke mob that even Twitter removed for being hateful.

Black Lives Matter protesters in Seattle, Washington State, one of the U.S. cities in which civil unrest has continued unabated since the death of George Floyed back in May, marched through a residential suburb this week demanding that white residents give up their homes to be occcuppied by blacks. dramatic video shows.

The video shows a crowd of protestors, including some virtue signalling whites chanting “Black lives matter” before an unidentified man steps up to the lens saying they are living in a historically black section of the city as another woman in the crowd yells that they should “give up” their homes.

“Do you know that before your white ass came here, this was all black people?” the obviously unstable man says. “Do you know people like you came in here and basically bought all the land from the black people for less than what it was worth, kicked them out so you could live here? Do you know that?”

The man continues: “’Cause if you don’t, now you f–king do — now do something about it!”

A woman in the crowd then urges the residents to “open their wallet” as the man continues to yell at the unidentified residents off-camera.

“So how do you plan to fix it?” the man continues. “As a gentrifier, because you are part of that problem.”

A woman with a megaphone then urges the residents to “give up” their house, the footage shows.

“Give black people back their homes!” she yells. “You’re sitting there comfortably — comfortable as f—k as if they didn’t help gentrify this neighborhood! I used to live in this neighborhood, and my family was pushed out, and you’re sitting up there having a good time with your other white friends!”

These people are obviously suffering a collective mental breakdown, one of the things they claim they are aiming to achieve is the removal of Donald Trump from The White House. Howeveer no sane person could possibly believe their violent, criminal behaviour is doing anything other than helping the Trump campaign win re – election.

Use of the N-word in a BBC news report has caused a 1Xtra radio presenter to quit and now there are calls to boycott the Beeb. But there’s silence on the station’s endorsement of music that promotes violence and misogyny.

A relatively unknown, minor media personality whipped up a racism debate and has turned himself into a well-known, minor media personality. That’s Sideman, or David Whitely to his friends.

He foisted himself into the news with an Instagram video resigning from the BBC, where he worked on radio station 1Xtra. The motivation was what he called “a slap in the face to our community” after a white person used the N-word on TV.

However, the grandiose statement neglected to reveal any context. The white person was female social affairs correspondent Fiona Lamdin. She was covering a horrific attack on a black healthcare worker, who was making his way home after a shift at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

A car was deliberately driven into him at speed, resulting in multiple injuries including a broken leg, nose and cheekbone.

Efforts to remove a statue of Robert Clive, the great British military commander, from the English market town he represented in Parliament have foundered — at least for now.

The statue of Clive, remembered by history as Clive of India for leading a small force to victory over the armies of the Nawab of Bengal at the Battle of Plassey and laying the foundations for Britain’s Indian empire, has had pride of place in Shrewsbury’s town square since 1860 — but activists have been pressing for its removal as a symbol of imperialism and colonialism amid the iconoclastic fervour whipped up by the Black Lives Matter movement.

Conservative-led Shropshire Council has voted 28-17 in favour of taking no action against the statue, however, as reported by the BBC under the loaded headline Clive of India: ‘Demoralising’ decision to keep ‘racist’ statue.

The BBC quoted anti-Clive petitioner Dave Parton as saying he was “shocked” by the failure to tear the statue down: “Only the complete removal of the statue will show the council is serious about racism,” the activist railed.

“Clive will fall, it’s not a matter of if, but when. It beggars belief we have to argue this when his legacy resulted in millions of deaths. It’s quite demoralising, this decision.”

Ricky Gervais Exposes The “Two Catastrophic Problems With The Term ‘Hate Speech'”

Outspoken British comedian Ricky Gervais has once again exposed, in his usual direct manner, the escalating use of the term “hate speech” to crush any dissenting view from the mainstream narratives has unleashed “a new weird sort of fascism.”

In an interview with talkRADIO host Kevin O’Sullivan, Gervais dismissed the new ‘trendy myth’ that the only people who want free speech want to use it to say terrible things:

“There’s this new weird sort of fascism of people thinking they know what you can say and what you can’t say and it’s a really weird thing that there’s this new trendy myth that people who want free speech want it to say awful things all the time, which just isn’t true. It protects everyone.”

Critically, Gervais sees two catastrophic problems with the term ‘hate speech’:

“One, what constitutes hate speech? Everyone disagrees. There’s no consensus on what hate speech is.”

“Two, who decides? And there’s the real rub because obviously the people who think they want to close down free speech because it’s bad are the fascists. It’s a really weird, mixed-up idea that these people hide behind a shield of goodness.”

Additionally, ‘The Office’ star points out that “social media amplifies everything.”

Conservative MP Ben Bradley said that he has cancelled his BBC licence in reaction to a recent podcast on “white privilege” and “Karens”, which he described as racist towards white women.

In a promotional clip for BBC Sound’s No Country for Young Women podcast, the presenter, British Pakistani comedian Sadia Azmat, asked her two guests — both white women — ‘Chicken Shop Date’ Youtuber Amelia Dimoldenberg and feminist historian Dr Charlotte Riley from Southampton University: “How can white women not be Karens?”

Dimoldenberg replied: “Don’t be so loud. Stop shouting and stop attacking black voices. Instead, you should be uplifting them,”

Dr Riley added: “Get out of the way, basically.”

In response to the clip, the Member of Parliament for Mansfield Ben Bradley said: “BBC spending £100m on diversity and this junk (which honestly is racist! Would not be acceptable the other way around!) whilst at the same time ditching regional news in order to save £25m.”

“Absolute joke. Cancelling my TV license [sic]. I don’t need to pay for this,” he declared.
