Birmingham, arguably Britain’s second city faces a surge of child sexual exploitation, greater than those reported on South Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, as ruthless men from mostly middle eastern and east European backgrounds target vulnerable young girle. Councillor Des Flood (Conservative) suggested that parents are not being warned about the dangers faced by their children from certain sections of immigrant communities.
