Often boasting of his own “plant-based centered life,” Adams has continued to champion his lifestyle choices as the path forward for residents of the Big Apple. Last week, that included his announcement with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection that the city would be aiming to cut food-based emissions by 33 percent by the year 2030 by keeping a greenhouse gas inventory.

Joining “Fox News Tonight,” Marc Morano, author of “The Great Reset: Global Elites and the Permanent Lockdown” outlined the slippery slope such an endeavor was careening down.

WEF Davos 2020: Trump slams climate ‘prophets of doom’

Although climae change was the top issue issue on the agenda at this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the so called ‘world No. 1 climate change denier, U.S. President Donald Trump was one of the main speakers. He and the darling of Social Justice Warriors, Swedish munchkin Greta Thunberg laid out competing visions for the future of the planet: Trump spoke of economic progress through technology which, he claimed, would also address the environmental problems leftist eco – warriors complain of. Thunberg extolled the hippy – dippy dream of abandoning civilisation and returning to to a planet friendly, hunter – gatherer lifestyle without mentioning that to fulfill her dream of a carbon – free world would mean millennials giving up their iPhones, plasma screen TVs, electric cars and other little politically correct luxuries. But little Greta has always been big on making demands about what people should be compelled to do but somewhat lacking when it comes to offering practical solutions.

Trump dismissed the concerns of environmental activists as “pessimism,” and said the world must ignore prophets of doom, in an impressive speech made political and business leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, but his words were chosen with the US domestic audience very much in mind.

Climate change and global warming are topping the agenda at this year’s annual meeting in the Swiss ski resort of Davos, with activists at odds with businesses and governments about how to tackle the issue. We can only conclude from the importance attached to climate change that the global banking cartel have developed a way to make money out of it.

Here are a main points of Trump’s speech:

The US leader dubbed climate activists “prophets of doom” and rejected their warnings of climate related humanitarian catastrophe, saying: “Fear and doubt is not a good thought process.”

Despite the concerns expressed by the environment lobby about Carbon Dioxide emissions emissions, Trump trumpeted the success of the USA as one of the world’s largest producers of natural gas.

He announced that the US would be joining the WEF’s 1 trillion trees initiative.

When asked about his stance on climate change by reporters ahead of his speech, he said: “I’m a big believer in the environment. The environment is very important to me.”

Much of Trump’s speech was focused on praising his administration’s domestic economic successes including job creation, a resurgence of manufacturing and cutting through bureaucracy and saying that by rolling back regulations, prosperity “would come thundering back at record speed.”

“A nation’s highest duty is to its own citizens,” he said. “Only when governments put their citizens first, will they be invested in their national futures.”

Following Trump’s speech, Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg, recently exposed as a front for much older though no less immature far left activists when it was revealed her father is responsible for authoring her online articles and public speeces her online activities, writing and posting items in her name.

Greta predictably criticized world leaders and business executives for failing to meet their climate obligations. She also complained that her previous demands for action to drastically reduce Carbon Dioxide emissions had been ignored. As in all her speeches and articles, her lack of economic awareness or understanding of how the global economy works are glaringly obvious. She appears to believe CO2 emissions can be reduced simply by flicking a switch and completely fails to acknowledge that to achierve the things she want done overnight would actually take decades, cost millions of industrial jobs in the developed nations and trash the economies of those nations.

Critics have also been pointing out that she addresses all her remarks to western leaders and consumers and makes no criticism of the world’s biggest poluter, China, or other rapidly growing economies such as India, Indonesia, Brazil and Nigeria. Ah well, I guess on planet Hippy – Dippy third world nations and people are above citicism. Trouble is, whenever the demands of Greta and her supporters are met by the developed world, targets are only achieved by transferring the dirty processes to economies the eco warriors will not complain about for fear of being called racist.

What makes me so sure the whole Thinberg phenomenon is a carefully managed Public Relations campaign is that nobody is asking: “Hey kid, you haven’t even reached school leaving age yet, you are certainly not old enough to vote, who the fuck elected you to speak for the people of the world?”

Addressing the audience of business leaders Thunberg said, as she has many times before “Unlike you, my generation will not give up without a fight. The facts are clear but they are still too uncomfortable for you to address.”

“Our house is still on fire. Your inaction is fueling the flames by the hour. And we are telling you to act as if you loved your children above all else,” Thunberg said, repeating comments from her WEF appearance last year.

At a panel just before Trump arrived, Thunberg emphasized that moderate changes will not be enough to slow the impact of climate change. So if she gets her way, millions will starve and billions will be plunged into poverty as the industrial economies are shut down in order to achieve zero Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Davos 2019: As 1500 Private Jests Descend On The Small Swiss Resort, Climate Change Is High On The World Economic Forum Agenda

A private jet stands ready to take its payload of a few VIPs off round the world.

Standing atop a massive pile of money, the elitist looks down angrily at the poor man who merely asks for a pay raise.

Every year leading figures from business, politics and entertainment gather at the World Economic Forum to discuss the world’s most pressing problems. This year’s theme is “Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.

The summit itself is a meeting of the global experts and influencers from politics to business, culture and the media. During the week these elite will meet and discuss a range of topics, including the economy, climate change and international relations.

The WEF’s, a bunch of paternalistic neo-liberals like to pretend they are safeguarding the interests of the planet when really all they are interested in is looking after the interests of corporate business and the global elite. Thus their Global Risk Report for 2019 revealed that environmental crises, such as failures to tackle climate change, “are among the likeliest and highest-impact risk that the world faces over the next decade”.

Founder and chief executive of the WEF Klaus Schwab, said it was “humanity’s most existential challenge” and that it “requires urgent global action”. He wrote: “Never has science been clearer in its concern about the risks of climate change and the stress this places on our oceans and other vital ecosystems, including tropical forests and freshwater sources.

“Yet our response to melting glaciers is glacial. While solutions increasingly exist, especially in the energy sector, there is as yet no movement on global action commensurate to the challenge.” Perhaps he thinks we have not noticed that all the solutions the elites amd their pet ‘experts’ have so far proposed involve the working and middle classes sacrificing our lifestyles and pating punitive ‘green’ taxes which are used to fund ‘green’ projects that boost corporate profits and shovel our tax money into the coffers of businesses and the landowners who have put wind farms and solar farms on their property in order to scoop up the subsidies for ‘sustainable’ power that the ‘green’ taxes and levies on our fuel bills fund.

When he says “our response to melting glaciers is glacial,” there is no intended irony in his words, he cannot be unaware that an anticipated 1,500 private jets will descend on Davos and nearby airports in Switzerland this week as the international financial and political elite gathers to talk about how to deal with global climate challenges by making us punters reduce our carbon footprint.

That number is an increase on the estimated 1,300 aircraft movements seen at last year’s forum, despite climate change registering as the top risk factor identified for the global economy then as well. In a survey of World Economic Forum (WEF) movers and shakers last week all placed the need to reduce carbon emissions highly among their priorities, yet none travelled by train and few by commercial airline.

Sir David Attenborough, a lead speaker this year, has already stated that climate is the issue of our time. The veteran broadcaster, 92, used his acceptance speech to tell business leaders and governments to come up with “practical solutions”. Speaking at the beginning of the forum on Monday, the Blue Planet and Dynasties narrator told the crowd he is “quite literally from another age” and warned of “man-made disaster of global scale” that lies ahead.

Were Attenborough have serious about his pleas for the environment, he ought to have used his platform to condemn events like the WEF, the United Nations Climate Conferences, G7 and G20 economic summits and so on. Industry group Air Charter Service calculated the private jet flights over the week, as delegates fly in to hear the likes of Attenborough speak at an event boasting a basic entry ticket price of U.S.$60,000 – per person. Around 3,000 participants are expected for the 2019 edition of the WEF.

Andy Christie, Private Jets Director at ACS, told the Guardian how the numbers are determined: “Davos doesn’t have its own airfield and, whilst we have several clients who fly into the town by helicopter, the four main airfields that private jet users attending the forum use are Zürich, Dübendorf, St. Gallen-Altenrhein and St. Moritz.

Working with WingX, we looked at private jet activity at those airports over the six days of each WEF week since 2013 – from one day before the event to one day after. Last year was the busiest year for private jets so far, showing an 11% increase on 2017, with more than 1,300 aircraft movements. If we see a similar increase this year, we could be looking at almost 1,500 aircraft movements over the six days.

Countries with the most arrivals and departures over the past five years at Davos are Germany, France, the UK, U.S., Russia, and UAE, respectively.”

Demand for private jets far outstrips other events that also loom large on the private aviation calendar, such as the Super Bowl or Champions’ League final, according to Mr. Christie.
“We have had bookings from as far as our operations in Hong Kong, India and the US ?- no other event has the same global appeal,” he said in a statement.

No wonder, those 3000 paying punters will be accompanied by their entourages, persdonal assistants, PR consultants, technical advisers and other people employed solely to make their bosses feel important. And the trend is towards even more expensive, larger private jets such as the Gulfstream GV and Bombardier’s Global Express. This may be in part due the long distances travelled, but according to aircraft industry sources is mainly due to business people not wanting to be outdone by rivals.
