Often boasting of his own “plant-based centered life,” Adams has continued to champion his lifestyle choices as the path forward for residents of the Big Apple. Last week, that included his announcement with the NYC Department of Environmental Protection that the city would be aiming to cut food-based emissions by 33 percent by the year 2030 by keeping a greenhouse gas inventory.

Joining “Fox News Tonight,” Marc Morano, author of “The Great Reset: Global Elites and the Permanent Lockdown” outlined the slippery slope such an endeavor was careening down.

Do A Majority Of British Citizens Still Think Lockdowns Should Have been Stricter?

It is astounding to think that after all the obvious evidence that lockdowns imposed in the COVID pandemic did nothing to protect anybody or stop the spread of the virus (assuming all those people who tested positive for SARS-COV2 were actually carrying the virus and the numbers were not just made up,) that recent polls have found that the majority of British citizens are still very much pro-lockdown. In a YouGov poll taken in early March, only 19% of respondents said the government’s handling of pandemic was “too strict”, and a remarkable 37% said it was “not strict enough”.

Likewise, when UnHerd asked Brits whether “in retrospect, lockdown was a mistake”, they found there wasn’t a single constituency in the country where a majority of respondents agreed. Overall agreement was 27% – which is barely more encouraging than YouGov’s finding.

The keyword here is respondents of course, polling companies admit that as few as one in ten of the people they contact actually agree to answer questions.

Sensible people gave up on polls years ago of course, but its doubtful that those who would have said lockdowns were a disastrous mistake but couldn’t be arsed listening to a load of stupid questions could have turned the poll round . So what explains Brits’ continued support for a policy that apart from violating the human rights of every citizen and imposed such huge costs succeeded only in trashing the national economy and shovelling taxpayers money into the Big Pharma Cartel’s pockets.

As veteran-lockdown sceptic Dan Hannan has noted with regret, “many of my countrymen couldn’t give two hoots about liberty”. Like the citizens of most Western countries, Brits have long favoured higher taxes, nationalisation of industry and the continued expansion of Nanny State. So their support for lockdown isn’t exactly a major anomaly that needs to be explained, the lazy paskudniaks fancy another year of sitting at home, getting paid for doing nothing.

Second: as has been noted by many alt_media commentators, the government’s scientific and medical advisers Brits massively overestimated the risks of Covid, particularly the risks to the young. This owes partly to general biases in the estimation of small quantities. But it is also a rsult of the intentional use of fear tactics whose very aim was to increase compliance with lockdown.

Third: the theoretical case for ‘flattening the curve’ was strong. If infections rise too high, hospitals will become overwhelmed, leading to huge numbers of deaths; a temporary lockdown can prevent this from happening. The argument is flawed, of course – not least because it again ignores the ‘costs’ side of the equation. But it seems quite compelling.

Fourth: case numbers did start falling around the time of each lockdown in 2020. Yet as the statistician Simon Wood has shown, infections were already in decline before the lockdown was called – in all three cases. This can be seen in the chart below, which shows the timing of lockdowns in relation to five reconstructions of infection numbers.

The five reconstructions are shown in red, red-shading, blue-shading, grey-shading and dashed, respectively.

Fifth: while the supposed benefits of lockdown were obvious and immediate, the costs were largely delayed. As a result, members of the public are more likely to credit lockdown for its ‘successes’ than they are to blame lockdown for its failures – including debt, inflation and a lowering of education standards.

Sixth: for months, credentialed scientists appeared before the television cameras and informed the public that lockdown was the right choice – that the Government really was ‘following the science’. Meanwhile, dissenting scientists (like those who signed the Great Barrington Declaration) were consistently marginalised. Through a combination of groupthink, deplatforming and biased media coverage, the public became convinced that there was such a thing as ‘the science’ and that it supported lockdown.

For a committed COVID sceptic like myself this is hard to swallow. While it’sfeasible that the majority *were* pro-lockdown when the world was in the midst of the worst and most intensive scamdemic / PsyOp in living memory, but to carry on clinging to the fear generated by negative propaganda is stretching things even by the standards of Labour voting, Guardian reading herd creatures. In 2021 their brains would have been successfully washed with the elaborate fear porn and propaganda, their thinking too addled by the incessant lies they were bombarded with from all angles, MSM, politicians and other authority figures including doctors and academics. However, with the benefit of hindsight and all the data we’ve accrued and knowledge we’ve gathered through lived experiences, I call absolute BS that it is still the case that the majority of the public support lockdowns. So I do think it’s important to make the distinction between past and present tense here. Are people still as terrified of a virus now as they were in November 2020? Highly unlikely. Michael Senger has done an excellent article relating to this topic;

“The use of fear has definitely been ethically questionable. It’s been like a weird experiment.”

“Psychologists didn’t seem to notice when it stopped being altruistic.”

As one Member of Parliament put it:

If it is true that the state took the decision to terrify the public to get compliance with rules, that raises extremely serious questions about the type of society we want to become. If we’re being really honest, do I fear that Government policy today is playing into the roots of totalitarianism? Yes, of course it is.

Likewise, a report later published by the Canadian Armed Forces revealed that military leaders saw COVID as a unique opportunity to test propaganda techniques on the public, “shaping” and “exploiting” information to bolster government messages about the virus.

As a result of these domestic propaganda campaigns, across the western world, we were all treated to such delightful slogans as “just stay home,” “two weeks to slow the spread,” “follow the science,” and “we’re all in this together”—each of course, in truly Orwellian fashion, being a boldfaced lie.”

Though even in normal times the clapped out, dysfunctional centralised bureaucracy that is the UK’s National Health Service lurches from crisis to crisis and now, in spite of the service being elevated to semi – divine status throught the pandemic of fear by Prime Minister Boris ‘party – boy’ Johnson, once again the service faces being plunged into disarray as the bureaucrats put bloody – minded officiousness ahead of common sense by refusing to relent on the hugely unpopular vaccine mandate which could see 10% of NHS employees quit their jobs rather than surrender to the diktat of a human rights abusing government. Though a delay to enforcement of the mandate has been proposed, it is unlikely to work as people who have not been jabbed have resisted months of propaganda, bullying, threats and coercive measures so far.
Delaying mandatory Covid vaccines for NHS staff would fail to stop “several thousand” people losing their jobs, a health service leader has said. Several thousand is an understatement.

According to the terms of the mandate all frontline healthcare workers in England will need to be double-jabbed by April 1 in order to keep their job, meaning the cut-off date for a first dose is early February. NHS staff will be required to have two clotshots by that date. At the time of writing official NHS figures show around 85,000 staff have not had any, with a further 40,000 just getting one dose.

When the deadline is reached bosses will dismiss unvaccinated staff that can not be redeployed to a non-patient facing role. The complacency of this attitude is gobsmacking, the people likely to quite, doctors, nuses, technicians and therapists cannot simply be replaced, the fill specialised roles. It’s simple enough to withdraw such people from patient facing roles, but fully vaccinated box tickers, paper shufflers and bean counters cannot be used to cover gaps in the front line.

“A delay gives a little bit more time [to get through winter pressures],” Mr Danny Mortimer, CEO of NHS Employers and deputy CEO of NHS Confederation told reporters, adding ““But the bottom line is we could give people another four weeks and we’d still be in a position where several thousand people will lose their jobs on the frontline.”

“I suspect there are lots of people who believe the NHS and Government won’t go through with this, that the Government doesn’t want to lose a single nurse or a single doctor. But the value of the vaccine far outweighs the loss of a few thousand people.”

That statement is ‘the big lie’ we refer to in the title, with thousands of doctors and many official bodies including the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) and European Medicines Agency (EMR) both having issued warning about the safety of vaccines and official statistics showing vaccination makes people more rather than less susceptible to developing serious symptoms it cannot honestly be said that the benefits outweigh the risk, in fact it is difficult to see any benefit from these vaccines at all.

When the idea of mandatory vaccination back by the threat of job loss was first proposed in late 2021 there were discussions ongoing that April 1 would not be a suitable deadline, as the NHS would still be embroiled in its usual winter crisis.

“What we did say when we responded was give us a bit longer, don’t don’t make us implement this at the height of winter. Because this is our busiest time in the NHS,” Mr Mortimer said.

He believes it unlikely the Government will delay the deadline, and that, come what may, April’s deadline will be enforced, because with so much evidence stacking up to show the vaccines have failed, lockdowns and mask mandates did more harm than good, so much trust and credibility have been lost that the political establishment cannot now admite they have been totally wrong in every pandemic policy over the past two years. The democratic states would be plunged into anarchy.

What Are The Mathematical Modellers Really Modelling (the answer might not surprise you)

My Twitter conversation with the chairman of the Sage Covid modelling committee

The latest Sage papers have been published, envisaging anything from 200 to 6,000 deaths a day from Omicron depending on how many more restrictions we’ll get — up to and very much including another lockdown. Earlier today I had an unexpected chance to ask questions of Graham Medley, the chair of the Sage modelling committee.

He’s a professor at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) which last weekend published a study on Omicron with very gloomy scenarios and making the case for more restrictions. But JP Morgan had a close look at this study and spotted something big: all the way through, LSHTM assumes that the Omicron variant is just as deadly as Delta. ‘But evidence from South Africa suggests that Omicron infections are milder,’ JP Morgan pointed out in a note to clients. Adjust for this, it found, and the picture changes dramatically:“Bed occupancy by Covid-19 patients at the end of January would be 33% of the peak seen in January 2021. This would be manageable without further restrictions.

So JP Morgan had shown that, if you tweak one assumption (on severity) then — suddenly — no need for lockdown.

Why was this scenario left out? Why would this fairly important and fairly basic fact on Omicron modelling not presented by Sage modellers like Professor Medley to ministers — and to the general public? I was thrilled for the chance to speak to him on Twitter. It was kind of him to make the time (he’s still going, as far as I can make out). The Spectator data hub has a page devoted to past Sage modelling vs actual, and I wanted to make sure I was not being unfair to Sage in my selection or presentation of those charts.

The latest Sage paper-drop — the 6,000-deaths-a-day one — refers to ‘scenarios,’ not predictions. Professor Medley emphasises the distinction: saying something could happen is not saying that there’s a realistic chance of it happening. But then why do Sage modellers publish some scenarios and not others?

Apologies for the language at the end, but it was the last tweet that he replied to on this thread.

Revealingly, he seemed to think my question odd: if it’s quite plausible that Omicron is mild and doesn’t threaten the NHS, what would be the point of including that as a ‘scenario’? He seemed to suggest that he has been given a very limited brief, and asked to churn out worse-case scenarios without being asked to comment on how plausible they are.“We generally model what we are asked to model. There is a dialogue in which policy teams discuss with the modellers what they need to inform their policy.

Might this remit mean leaving out just-as-plausible, quite-important scenarios that would not require lockdown? “Decision-makers are generally on only interested in situations where decisions have to be made.

Note how careful he is to stay vague on whether any of the various scenarios in the Sage document are likely or even plausible. What happened to the original system of presenting a ‘reasonable worse-case scenario’ together with a central scenario? And what’s the point of modelling if it doesn’t say how likely any these scenarios are?

From what Professor Medley says, it’s unclear that the most-likely scenario is even being presented to ministers this time around. So how are they supposed to make good decisions? I highly doubt that Sajid Javid is only asking to churn out models that make the case for lockdown. That instruction, if it is being issued, will have come from somewhere else.

Professor Robert Dingwall, until recently a JCVI expert, has said that Medley’s candour reveals ‘a fundamental problem of scientific ethics in Sage’ — ie, a hardwired negativity bias. ‘The unquestioning response to the brief is very like that of SPI-B’s behavioural scientists,’ he says and suggests that the Covid inquiry looks into all this.

At a time when we have just been given a new set of ‘scenarios’ for a new year lockdown it might be good if someone — if not Professor Medley — would clear up what assumptions lie behind the new 6,000-a-day-dead scenario, and if emerging information from South Africa about Omicron and its virulence have been taken into account. And how probable it is that a double-jabbed and increasingly boosted nation (with 95 per cent antibody coverage) could see this worst-case scenario come to pass.

The latest lame excuse from the government for a further delay on lifting lockdown restrictions has sparked angry responses from small businesses and the general public. Once again this government of clueless wankers have put the task of massaging the egos of pseudo scientists who persuaded the government to impose each lockdown based not on real world evidence but on speculative output from “mathematical models” of the pandemic. To put it bluntly there is no genuine evidence that lockdowns, the disruption of life and the trashing of the economy was either helpful in curbing the virus or actually made things worse.

Trust in Boris Johnson and his government is “through the floor” after the delay to lockdown easing in England, a nightclub owner in Liverpool told GB News.

John Hughes, a representative for nightlife in the city, added he knew of young people rejecting their offers for Covid jabs because of a breakdown in trust in the government.

Speaking about the delay to lockdown easing, Mr Hughes said: “It’s a massive blow for everyone in the country. In Liverpool, we’ve lost so many dates in the past year. These are key earners which keep people in business.

“At the moment, people are being told not to come into Liverpool because of this variant. We feel a bit let down, its stopping people coming in.

“The trust is really going now with everyone in Liverpool. We feel like we’re pawns being played.”

Mr Hughes said he was concerned about the effects the continuation of lockdown could have on people’s mental health.

“As a business owner, you’re trying to be positive and book events and acts in,” he said. “I came home last night and she was crying because her 21st was booked for Jul”We’ll try and stay as positive as we can but I worry about suicide rates going through the roof.”

All too predictably the promised wholesale lifting of lockdown restrictions promised for June 21st has been delayed because of a “new COVID variant” which is allegedly more “transmissible” than the original killer vaccine which really didn’t kill very many people at all *all those deaths reported daily with such self righteous glee by the BBC and other mainstream news outfits were of course mostly people who died of other terminal illnesses having tested for the not-very-deadly SARS-COV2 virus during the previous 28 days.
But the message of this latest lockdown is “if you want the lockdowns to stop and other restrictions to be lifted, get the vaccine. Which rather suggests that the government’s claimed figure of 99.8% take up of the vaccine among demographivc groups to which it has been md available is being exaggerated as the number of deaths ascribed to COVID. Still, those of us who have so far resisted the pressure top allow this fascist government to injects into our bodies a dose of toxic shite which by the manufacturers own admission will not make us immune to the disease but will, empirical evidence suggests, vastly increase our chances of developing lethat blood clots and other potentiall fatal conditions.
It has already been shown that government actions to place us under house arrest, restrict out social activities, suspend our right to travel freely and forcing businesses to clodse are violations of human rights laws established by the Geneva Conventions. Coercion to take part in any medical experiments, trials, or treatments are forbidden under the Geneva Convention of 1948, It is forbidden in the UNESCO Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights and it is forbidden in the Ethical Guidance given by the NHS. All of which are freely available to read on-line or download.

As for the masked sheep, not only are they damaging their own health by impeding natural breathing, they have been touching the mask and according to the SAGE scaremongers leaving bacteria everywhere. Apart from looking absolutely ridiculous, these morons are demonstrating a lack of intelligence and susceptibility to brainwashing. Masks do not protect the wearer or anyone else. The World Health Organisation, which promoted all the mask wearing and social distancing bollocks have been forced to admit this. They are part of an exercise in applied behavioural science aimed at testing what proportion of the population are compliant enough for all our freedoms to be taken from us.

The level of panic shown by the Government in the face of thisnew variant, the Delta variant, is of their own making as they failed to shut down travel from India at the appropriate time, in the same way as fourteen months ago they failed to shut down business travel between UK and China. They will not admit or acknowledge these failings despite countless scientific warnings calling for a clampdown weeks before the Government made it a variant of concern and slow on the introduction of travel restrictions from India.

I can see the infection rate continuing to increase throughout summer as this variant is hyped in order to maintain the momentum of Project Fear, the planet wide psyop that aims to make us all dependent on corrupt and incompetent politicians and their corporate cronies. The Delta variant is likely to result in a small, shirt term increase in death rates among the old, frail and vulnerable, but the Government continuing the line that we must not open up with the peddled fears of an imminent non-existent “third wave”.

The best thing I ever did was retire at 50. I will be wintering somewhere hot abroad this time around. I’m not scared of covid and being financially free means I can do what I want and I’m being selfish and living my life. The sheeple can stay here terrified wearing masks and cowering at home forever, Boris and those clueless wankers on the SAGE panel can swivel on their variants!

A government scientist says he has been “told to shut up” by people who don’t want to heed his warnings about exiting the coronavirus lockdown too early.

Professor Adam Finn, from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), said his concern about England unlocking too early on 21 June has been met with a barrage of criticism.

He is one of a number of experts calling for scheduled easing in three weeks to be delayed because of the continuing spread of the Indian COVID-19 variant.

Under the next phase of England’s lockdown easing on 21 June, all legal limits on social contact are set to be removed, while nightclubs can reopen and restrictions on weddings would be lifted.

Discussing his warning over the unlocking, Prof Finn said: “There are a lot of people who are very fed up about the idea of us even worrying about this.”

He told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “Since I’ve been saying in the last 24 hours that we should be cautious I’ve been getting lots of messages from people telling me to shut up basically.”

Prof Finn warned that having to reimpose lockdown restrictions would be both worse economically and for public health.

“There’s vulnerability across the country. The idea that somehow the job is done, is wrong,” he said.

“We’ve still got a lot of people out there who’ve neither had this virus… nor yet been immunised, and that’s why we’re in a vulnerable position right now.”

Asked in a separate interview on Tuesday with LBC radio about whether the final easing should take place on 21 June, Prof Finn said: “I fear it may be a bad decision to go with it.”

His comments echoed those of fellow government adviser Professor Ravi Gupta, a member of the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (Nervtag), who said the 21 June unlocking should be postponed.

On Monday, Prof Gupta, from the University of Cambridge, warned that the UK is in the early stages of a third wave of coronavirus, after more than 3,000 new cases were reported for the sixth day in a row.

“What we are seeing here is the signs of an early wave,” Prof Gupta told the Today programme.

On Tuesday, he repeated his calls to delay the 21 June lifting of restrictions by “a few weeks”.

He told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “Even a month delay could have a big impact on the eventual outcome of this.

“As long as it’s clear to people this is not an unlimited extension of the lockdown but actually just a reassessment, that would be realistic.”

He stressed that the race between the virus and the vaccines is still a close one, saying: “We must remember this is a virus that does adapt, and faced with vaccines it will eventually start to make mutations to avoid them even further, and then we could be in an even more precarious situation after that.”

A final decision on whether the lockdown in England will be eased will be made on 14 June.

Environment secretary George Eustice said on Monday the government is not ruling out delaying the scheduled 21 June lockdown easing.

He said: “We can’t rule anything out. We know this has been a difficult pandemic, a dynamic situation. We have to make that judgment a couple of weeks before.

“It will only be by then that we will see the impact of the latest easement we made on 17 May.”

On Monday, Twickenham Stadium in south west London was transformed into a walk-in vaccination centre as up to 15,000 people were invited to get their first jabs.

The mass vaccination was organised in an effort to counter the spread of the Indian variant in Hounslow, west London.

People aged 18 and over were invited to come forward for their jabs due to a surplus of vaccines, even though nationwide the level is 30 and over.

Also on Monday, the rise in COVID-19 cases in Bolton – one of the areas which has seen a sharp rise in numbers of the Indian variant – showed signs of slowing.

The seven-day rate in Bolton currently stands at 386.7 cases per 100,000, down from 452.8 on May 21, suggesting the recent surge in cases in the town may have peaked.

Health teams in the local authority area have been running surge testing for the virus, along with “surge vaccinations” to boost take-up among everyone who is eligible for the vaccine.

In what has become a weekly event, tens of thousands marched marched in protest through the streets of London, a collaboration of diverse groups under the shared banner of “Unite for Freedom”. The rally brought together groups of people who are variously unhappy with the prolonged lockdowns imposed by the government, mistrustful of Covid-19 vaccines and hold anti-government opinions in general.

Independent politician David Kurten, formerly a UKIP MEP estimated that the gathering was larger than the one held last weekend. “We are all out, normal people, not wearing any masks, not taking any vaccines, demanding that the government give us back the civil liberties that they never had the right to take away,” he said, summarizing the protesters’ cause.

Anti-lockdown protests similar to the one in London have been happening on a regular basis in many Western countries and are sometimes met with police action. Police in full riot gear met protestors in Berlin while protests in Amsterdam and Milan were relatively peaceful.

Thousands Upon Thousands Rally Against Lockdown, Vaccine Passports in London

The once reliable news service run by Britain’s national broadcaster, The BBC along with other organisations involved in bthe UK’s broadcast and print media completely blanked last weekend’s biggest news story, instead choosing to focus on whether Boris Johnson acted improperly in financing the refurbishment of his official residence. Yes really. I mean FFS who gives a flying fuck, he’s a politicians, we know they’re all crooks and liars so it’s really not news. On the other hand, after a year and a bit of daily propaganda from legacy media telling us the nation was solidly behind the governments vaccine policy, lockdown and social distancing regulations and other unlawful and completely ineffective measures against the hoax pandemic, the fact that thousands upon thousands of people gather in central London to protest over the lockdows of the past twelve months and the fascistic plan to coerce us into accepting useless and potentially dangerous vaccines by introducing vaccine passports that we would have to present to travel, domestically or internationally, use shops and public services, enter sports stadiums, theatres, restaurants, pubs and even shops..

Saturday’s protest was the biggest demonstration in the UK to date against the government’s excessive reaction to the modest risk posed by the so called Chinese coronavirus to the overwhelming majority of the population. While the MSM put a low estimate on the numbers — 10,000, according to World Economic Foru,m propaganda department Reuters, but independent observers claims that the turnout was considerably higher, possibly as many as 100,000 were backed up by private video and photos posted online. One aerial shot of the huge crowd in Hyde Park showed a crows that must have easily exceeded 10,000, and there were similar numbers in Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly.

As with previous anti-lockdown marches and protests, Mainstream Media has done its very best to give the impression that opposition to COVID fascism is confined to a few “crazy conspiracy theorists” and anti – vaccine eccentrics. When the Extinction Rebellion crusties smash a few windows in some corporate office block or BLM thugs throw a statue of somebody few people had heard of into bristol docks, the incident gets massive coverage (and millions of poundsworth of free publicity,) for days in every news organisation from the BBC to the Sun.

But when 50,000 or more law abiding citizens protest against unlawful actions that violate citizens human and civil rights, bringing central London to a standstill as they march the length of Oxford Street, the event either goes unreported (as previous anti – lockdown events have,) or is dismissed as a bunch of weirdo conspiracy theorists flouting the government’s supposedly sensible and proportionate mask-and-social-distancing regulations.

In this case, as in other recent protests which were broken up by heavy handede police tactics from the same force as meekly ‘tool the knee’ in front of Black Looters and Muggers, the vast majority of people at the event weren’t activists but ordinary folk of all ages, races, and classes who’d had enough after a year of government lockdowns, violations of our liberty and the trashing of the economy and who felt especially concerned by proposals to bring in vaccine passports. They considered the plan for digital vaccine passports to be illiberal, discriminatory and the precursor to a much more sinister, Chinese-style, social credit system of permissions and restrictions.

According to the UK Government, as of 27 March 2021, 126,515 people have died as a result of contracting Covid-19, and an additional 21,610 people have died with COVID-19 on their death certificates.

The government alleges, therefore, that a total of 148,125 people in the UK have died as a result of COVID-19. As we shall see, this claim is not credible.

Claims about mortality have been used by both the government and the mainstream media to justify the policy response.

The pace of change driven by that policy response has been astonishing. With Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s recent announcement of the creation of the UK Health Security Agency and its commitment to take “action to mitigate infectious diseases and other hazards to health before they materialise,” it is clear the government’s new (ab)normal is here to stay.
