Have The Conservative Party Committed Suicide?

“You’re going to reap just what you sow,” sang Lou Reed in his hit song ‘Perfect Day’ and it looks as though in a few months, when UK voters go to the polls to elect a new government, the Conservative Party, having sown the seeds of discontent among its core voters with 14 years of left leaning governance and globalist policies are going to do just that.

Conservative Members of Parliament who have supported Open Borders, <a href="http://Net Zero, Islamic extremism and far – left anti semitism, drag queen story time in schools, chicks-with-dicks in women only safe spaces and all moves to drive us back into the European Union will reap the harvest of their own arrogance and contempt for public opinion as on election night seat after seat falls to Labour, the Lib Dems and maybe even The Greens and Reform.

The understanding after we left the EU and after a painful four years (though it felt like 40,) wandering in the wilderness with Teresa May was that Boris would lead us to the promised land we could once again control our borders and set sensible, firm limits on immigration, get control of public spending which had been running wild from the moment Mrs. Thatcher left office, ditch net zero in favour of sensible energy policies based on a nuclear long term future and stop the far left ideology of the woke agenda in its tracks. And what happened? Open-door immigration on a scale Blair & Co would envy, energy policies that have left the nation teetering on the edge of blackouts, foreign policy that has helped bring the world to the brink of self destruction and economic mismanagement means we will leave our descendants a legacy of debt and decline. (And don’t get me started on Electric vehicles and Heat Pumps.)

Some might be able to forgive any government for its failure to come up with a quick solution when faced with vulnerable human beings drowning in the English Channel as small rubber rafts operated by human trafficking racketeeers are swamped by the wash of giant tankers or container ships, but we can’t forgive the total failure to control the <a href="http://flood of people, including rapists, murderers, gangsters, terrorists and religious fanatics coming into this already crowded country both legally and illegally. The implications of this human torrent have been putting unbearable pressure on the welfare system, the health system and throughout the public sector at all levels for three decades now, so it is not all the fault of the Conservative who have only been in control since 2010, and people who think voting Labour, saying “socialism” and clicking their heels three times will deliver us into a post – industrial utopia are suffering from terminal naivete.

Robert Jenrick sensibly pointed out in a Telegraph article recently that the growth benefits of immigration are questionable when weighed against the scale of its long-term drawbacks. But Robert Jenrick is no longer a Minister, and neither is Suella Braverman, who also suffered for speaking plain common sense to a power which has abandoned realism in favour of magical thinking. The Conservatives have run out of time and now face electoral oblivion.

But political meltdown for the conservatives should not be cause for celebration. What succeeds them is likely to be far worse. Pitchforks and cudgels anyone?

Simpering, limp wristed Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar whose government has faced protests because it is claimed they govern in the interests of the Dublin Gay Mafia liberal elite and ignore the collective opinion of the Irish people, suffered two major blows to his ambition to turn deeply conservative Ireland into the wokest country in Europe last weekend. 

Varadkar admitted on Saturday that voters had delivered “two wallops” to the government, which, led by Leo himself, had pushed for a “Yes” vote on a pair of March 8 referendums.

Almost 68% of Irish voters rejected the so-called “Family Amendment,” referendum which would have removed a clause about the importance of marriage and family to society from Ireland’s 1937 constitution and legally redefined “family” as either “founded on marriage or on other durable relationships,” thus erasing words like woman and mother from the constitution.

The woke wakerati all over the developed world are of course obsessed with replacing gender specific nouns and pronouns with neutral terms. While screeching about the ‘right’ of people to be legally recognised as whatever they ‘identify’ as, they are determined to rob the majority of us if indentities we inherited at birth and are perfectly happy with.

The other topic on the voting paper, the so called “Care Amendment,” which would have removed a clause noting that the “state recognizes that by her life within the home, woman gives to the state a support without which the common good cannot be achieved,” was rejected by an even bigger majority, with 74% of voters saying “No”.

Ireland’s main political parties and other influential groups along with most of the media strongly backed the well-funded referendum initiative, while conservative groups and the country’s Catholic bishops urged a “No” vote on both measures.

“This decision by the Irish electorate sends a powerful message about the importance of preserving foundational values in the face of sweeping societal changes,” A spokesman for Family Solidarity, an Irish conservative group that advocates for traditional values which opposed both the constitutional amendments, said in a statement Saturday. 

“This victory is not just a rejection of a specific referendum proposal; it is a declaration by the people of Ireland that the core unit of society — the family based on marriage — must remain protected and cherished. It underscores a collective desire to maintain the integrity of societal values that have long been the bedrock of our nation.”

Critics of the amendments argued that the bill — the vote for which took place on International Women’s Day — removed terms like “women” and “mother” from the constitution while introducing the vague term “durable relationship,” the meaning of which was hotly debated.

The “Care Amendment” in particular would  also have removed an article of the Irish Constitution that said “the state shall, therefore, endeavor to ensure that mothers shall not be obliged by economic necessity to engage in labor to the neglect of their duties in the home.”

The above clause has recently been a major irritant to men like Varadkar and his ‘husband’ 

These offending clauses were to  have been replaced by an article noting that the state will “strive to support” the care that “members of a family” give to one another “without which the common good cannot be achieved.” Clearly that was intended to pave the way for same sex parents and transgender parents to have equal status with natural parents.

“The people of Ireland have spoken and given this government and the parties in opposition a walloping,” Sharon Keogan, an Independent Irish senator, posted on X (formerly Twitter.)

“Women do not want to be reduced to non-gender language,” she said. “I, for one, did not view the erasure of the words ‘woman’ or ‘mother’ as something worthy of being progressed. Thankfully this country agreed.”

Trans-women’s Milk As Good As Breast Milk, says NHS Trust

The lunatics who run The University of Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust (USHT) have stated in a letter to campaigners, that breast milk produced by trans women (i.e. ladyboy, cathoey, chick-with-dick, jock-in-a-frock,) who were assigned male at birth is as good for babies as that produced by a mother who has given birth.

The letter stated that the milk produced by trans women after taking a combination of drugs is “comparable to that produced following the birth of a baby”. The practice of artificially inducing lacation in biological males was the subject of a complaint last year by the Children of Transitioners, an organisation was founded by a woman whose father transitioned in an effort to provide support for children in a similar situation.

In an August 2023 response, The University of Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust defended its claims, referring to five scientific papers dating back to 1977 and pointing to World Health Organisation (WHO – the genocidist United Nations offshoot that recently gave you the mRNA killer jabs,) guidance and “overwhelming evidence” that “human milk” is better for a baby than formula milk.

It also references a 2022 study that found “milk testosterone concentrations” were under 1 per cent with “no observable side effects” in the babies. The study, on a very small sample of babies, lasted for five months and no long-term data was obtained. So they are happy to make such sweeping statements without any clue as to what might happen five, ten or twenty years in the future? How fucking insane is that?

Our qualified adviser on medical matters tells us for a biological male to breastfeed, they must develop milk-producing glands by taking the hormone progestin. A drug is required to lactate, such as domperidone, which is often prescribed to women struggling to breastfeed, and helps to stimulate the production of prolactin – a separate hormone that tells the body to produce milk.

Sussex University trust created what it called Britain’s “first clinical and language guidelines supporting trans and non-binary birthing people” in 2021.

Within its guidance were assertions about the ability of trans women to produce milk for a baby. We find it bizarre that the NHS strongly advises women (real women that is,) not to nurse a baby if they have had a glass of wine because of possible ill effects but now says it is completely safe to do so if your body is pumped full of drugs that nobody knows how they may affect an infant.

I also recall a Health Visitor warning my caffiene – loving daughter in law against drinking too much COFFEE while breastfeeding as it could effect her child. Where are Social Services in safeguarding the babies doped up, deranged snip-and-tuck jobs plan to breatfeed? Or do they actually support it because Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity? What absolutely sickening child abuse USHT is promoting.

Lottie Moore, of the Policy Exchange, which uncovered the letter, said the trust “is unbalanced and naïve in its assertion that the secretions produced by a male on hormones can nourish an infant in the way a mother’s breast milk can”.

USHT has removed the webpage where the guidance was published, but now links to an external website, La Leche League, which states it “supports everyone who wants to breastfeed or chestfeed in reaching their goals”.

tters, said: “For a chief executive and medical director of an NHS trust to prioritise trans identities over what is best for mothers and their babies is deeply disturbing.”

Milli Hill, a campaigner for women’s rights in childbirth, said: “Male people, however they identify or describe themselves, cannot breastfeed.”

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust said: “We stand by the facts of the letter and the cited evidence supporting them.”

The other question that needs to be raised related to the cost of these totally unnecessary treatments. With the NHS constantly complaining that they are strapped for cash how is it possible for them to pander to the whims of mentally ill people who delude themselves that they are something other than their biological sex how many people are being denied treatment for cancer, heart disease, respiratory problems, loss of eyesight and other such genuine health problems?

A Roman Emperor Declared Trans By UK Museum

The Daily Telegraph reports that Imperator Heliogabalus (aka Elagabalas,) of Rome will be referred to as she because claims in contemporary texts reveal that the emperor demanded he be called ‘lady’

Roman emperor Heliogabalas (reigned 228 – 222 AD has been declared transgender by the North Hertfordshore museum (of idiotic virtue signalling?) Museum policy states that pronouns used in displays will be those “the individual in question might have used themselves” or whatever pronoun “in retrospect, is deemed appropriate”.

Heliogabalus, aka Elagabalas, real name Marcus Aurelius Antonninus was 14 when anointed Emperor and 18 when he was assassinated. During his short, chaotic and scandalous reign he is alleged to have, on one occasion, murdered his dinner guests by having tons of rose petals poured on them through an opening in the roof.

Other reports of his behaviour also suggest he was completely barking mad so its hardly surprising that at times he might also have believed he was a woman. Had he lived now he might have decided to be Napoleon, Elvis, Evel Knievel or Iggy The Bare Bum Fire Bobby depending on his mood. But apart from being a nutcase he did nothing of note. So maybe we should defund the museum that labels him ‘trans,’ as a reward for their virtue signalling and recognise Elagabalus was just a disturbed teenager in need of being given psychiatric help rather than absolute power

A Museum spokesperson who said zey’re pronouns are braindead and clown announced that in future, in order to be sensitive to the trans community the purported pronoun preferences of the third century AD ruler Elagabalus, the emperor will be treated as a transgender woman and referred to as she or her.

The museum explained Heliogabalus has been given female pronouns on the basis of classical texts that claim the emperor asked to be called “lady”, but properly qualified historians believe these accounts may simply have been a Roman attempt at character assassination as a precursor to the physical assassination that ended his era of misrule and debauchery. (If you’re not well up on Roman history the reign of King Joffrey in Game of Thrones is a good analogy.)

Posh Peoples Banker Humbled By Public Backlash To Authoritarian Debanking Policy

Much discussion in UK media and as far away as The USA and Australia this week has focued on the decision by Coutts (the posh people’s bank,) to ‘de-bank’ former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, the political outsider who successfully steered the campaign to take Britain out of the EU to victory in a national referendum. According to Coutts initial responses to media attention the decision was taken  because of reputational concerns. 

Bizarrely, when Farage, now host of a popular radio talk show, took his story to the media Coutts told the BBC that the Farage account closure was due to financial requirements. This was probably was one of the worst corporate cock ups in recent history because it was so easily falsifiable, especially for a skilled operator like Farage whose track record shows he knows how to use the media. After after days of media fury about a corporate war on free speech, stirred up mostly by the former Ukip leader himself, and a genuine public outcry because in this era of automation, digitization and depersonalisation, banking is an essential service and if it can happen to Nigel Farage because his bank don’t like some of his opinions, it can happen to any of us.

Coutts have now caved in following criticism from everybody from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to Stan the bloke in the pub who has an opinion about everything, the bank and its parent company Nat West group have issued a grovelling apology to Farage for comments made about him during a meeting of the bank’s wealth reputational risk committee.

Alison Ross, the chief executive of NatWest  this afternoon released a lengthy apology for the ‘deeply inappropriate comments made in the now published papers. They ‘do not reflect the views of the bank’, she said, adding ‘I believe very strongly that freedom of expression and access to banking are fundamental to our society and it is absolutely not our policy to exit a customer on the basis of legally held political and personal views.’ The bank has now offered ‘alternative banking arrangements’ at NatWest.

It was deeply disturbing that Nigel Farage was debanked by Coutts for his political and social attitudes but becomes truly sinister when we consider that apparently no other bank was prepared to offer him an account and they all marched in lockstep (goose step?) with Coutts.

If he could have easily moved to another bank it would have been shameful that Coutts, the bank that discriminates on the basis of wealth. also discriminates on the basis of politics, while being quite happy to offer services to some of the world’s most brutal authoritarian tyrants, a number of very unsavoury east European oligarchs and authocratic leaders of Arab oil states in which the concept of human rights simply does not exist, but the fact that other banks took a similar stance becomes a matter of totalitarian oppression.

Because of the nature of their business banks should not be able to select their customers on the basis of political positions just as they cannot discriminate on grounds of race, religion, skin colour or sexual orientation. Coutts was wrong to kick NF out for the reasons set out in the report and the other banks should not have been able to so glibly refuse his custom without a sound reason for doing so

As mentioned above banking is an essential service in the modern and increasingly cashless world. To deny anyone access to banking facilities is tantamount to erasing their social existence, hamstringing their ability to earn a living or but essential goods and services and ultimately eliminating them from society. Withdrawing banking facilities in a way which would inhibit that person’s ability to make alternative arrangements without acceptable reasons is an intolerable injustice. 

 This practice is akin to isolating someone, no matter how ill, from access to health services because his/her legitimately stated/held views do not confirm to the ‘diversity, inclusion and equality’ [DIE] narrative promoted by political, media and business establishment organisations. Such cancellation represents a gross violation of that person’s inalienable rights to free speech and personal liberty the fundamental destruction of a basic human right to access an essential service without which normal existence is rendered impossible.

The most alarming thing of all is that leaders of powerful corporate organisations, not to mention public services managers, can so easily terminate individuals’ bank accounts (or access to services) with little or no accountability. 

We associate such tyranny with regimes Nazi Germany, communist Russia, modern China, North Korea or certain Middle Eastern theocracies. The large dossier compiled by Coutts on Nigel Farage without his knowledge is a most sinister development of a kind that we thought was confined to brutal totalitarian police states, not the so-called liberal democracies.

How Can Children Learn When They Are Taught By Idiots?

A story in todays news reported that a school teacher told a pupil she was “despicable” after she refused to accept that her classmate identifies as a cat.

The 13-year-old girl and her friend were reprimanded by their teacher at Rye College, in East Sussex, on Friday at the end of a Year 8 class on “life education” in which they were told they can “be who you want to be and how you identify is up to you”.

The row, which has infuriated parents, was allegedly sparked by one of them asking a fellow pupil: “How can you identify as a cat when you’re a girl?”

Their teacher told them they were being reported to a senior leader and were no longer welcome at the school, part of the Aquinas Trust, a Church of England network of 11 schools, if they continued to express the view that only boys and girls exist.

Hmmm, interesting phrase that, ‘senior leader,’ what does it mean in our modern education system? Well it translates into German as ‘hochrangiger Führer’. So in our school system we have Führers?
And what would this Führer be telling the pupils who refuse to accept their classmate as a cat? “We haff vays off making you akkept trans-speciesism?

The Tyranny Of Progressivism And The Cult Of Woke

Since it was first published in 1859, John Stuart Mill’s essay ‘On Liberty’ has become a standard reference for campaigners against censorship, authoritarianism, suppression of dissent and the right to freely express opinions and question dogma (free speech,) and other political or religious constraints on freedom whether political, social, religious, academic or interpersonal. A century and a half after his death, Mill’s argument on behalf of an “atmosphere of freedom”, limited only when words or actions result in harm, has become the central pillar of the liberal thinking.

Yet while Mill’s essay was intended to be a defence of the necessary conditions for a liberal society, today it is more likely to be self-described conservatives who are most likely to invoke its arguments.

Ironically while conservatives, traditional supporters of the rule of law, loyalty to the three Fs (family, faith and flag,) and asdherence to the narratives of state and church, today it seems the conservatives have moved to the left to occupy the void created by liberal and socialist groups embracing the principle of the pensée unique, the French concept of a single thought or idea to which all must pay lip service even if they do not necessarily agree.

If it was the free-thinkers in the Victorian era whom Mill was defending against oppression by religious traditionalists (the Thought Police of the era,) today the situation is the opposite. Conservatives and “classical liberals” of various stripes today regularly invoke Mill as a refutation against the oppressiveness of liberals and progressives.

[We should] go back to John Stuart Mill,” an american religious conservative suggested last year. “Having legal protection for free, robust discourse in place is one thing, and it’s a very important thing, and it’s, as I say, a necessary thing, but it’s not sufficient. In addition to those legal norms protecting free speech, we need to build a culture of free speech.”

The progressives disagree of course: nobody should be allowed to challenge the doctrine of change, we must all accept the rewriting of history in a way that makes Africa the cradle of civilisation, the nursery of literature and the arts and the hub of scientific and technical progress rather than, respectively Mesopotamia, the eastern Mediterranean region and northern Europe. We must accept that such huge cultural figures as Michaelangelo, Shakespeare and Beethoven were black and other such nonsense or be ‘cancelled’ for being racist. We must accept the Islamification of secular Christian societies and support ‘open doors’ immigration policies, because stale, conservative, systemically racist old, whilte European societies need to be culturally revitalised by huge influxes of ignorant, illiterate, ineducable, unemployable mightants from third world shitholes.

We must understand the need for change and willingly accept the change imposed on us by cabals of university brainwashed Cultural Marxist, quasi – intellectual academics, we must celebrate rather than merely tolerate homosexuality. We must ‘follow the science’ on climate change, dysfunctional vaccines, adulteration of our food with toxic shite but not on the impossibility of a human changing sex.

Change is not progress, that is change for the better. /but that begs the question, “What do we mean by “better”?

Is “better” merely the opinion of the rich and powerful or the highly educated? If so, then why should we privilege the contrary opinions of a rival group over our own? Instead, we should engage in a contest of power against them. After all, if there is no transcendental standard of the good, why not choose a standard most congenial to our own natures and devise an ideology that glorifies it?

But what if there is an objective, transcendent good that may conflict with our own inclinations? If we choose to put the “I should” ahead of the “I want” (pace C.S.Lewis), then the wisdom of lived experience may be a surer guide than a library’s worth of books that try their best to evade the hard fact that, if we are to live as human beings rather than clever animals, we have to be willing to suffer ourselves into existence.

Just because the person-on-the-street can’t articulate why a particular custom is valuable, doesn’t mean that it isn’t. However, the first stage of decline is when a society does the right things, but does so blindly, no longer having a deep understanding of the universal principles that underlie a specific custom. As time passes and circumstances change, society can no longer apply those principles intelligently. Customs become inapt or they’re modified in a way that violates their spirit. At that point, the revolutionaries can plausibly claim that custom is mere unthinking conformity that unreasonably constrains behavior. Babies get thrown out with the bathwater; e.g. the norms that build strong families are tossed into the same bin as the abuses that sustain empires.

Progress is not the arrow of time, though it may seem that way because knowledge tends to increase and be retained over time, even allowing for “dark” ages (that turn out no to be so dark.) But knowledge isn’t wisdom. Think of the scene in “2001: A Space Odyssey” where the tossed club becomes an orbiting nuclear bomb.

The opposite to modern progressives is not traditionalism. Politics is not a dichotomy of either-or or ‘which side are you on’. Multiple forms of progress are possible, and we do need to reject a claimed progressive movement that has absolutist and anti-freedom roots as anti-progress.

The illiberalism of modern progressives doesn’t mean that other forms of progress are tainted by the same intolerences. It is possible to believe in progress – reduction in poverty, improved living standards, mutuality and tolerance, avoidance of war – without getting trapped by the segregationalist isms of the SJWs. It is possible to see that long-standing heuristics and principles can still have value and should be tested and retained, while still rejecting ritualism – a ritualism that is being increased by demanding deference to compelled speech and conformity of thought.

That is not to say that there is no traditionalist-versus-progressive argument going on. That is happening too. But Spain’s history of progressives versus traditionalists shows us what happens when the middle ground is denied, and it is precisely a middle of tolerance, fraternity, equality, fairness and freedom that we should seek to defend.

Eighteenth Century Philosopher David Hume Cancelled by Edinburgh Uni. Woke Wankers

In 2020, while we were distracted by lockdown, all dead white males came into the crossfires of a cultural revolutionary wave. Merchants, authors, scientists, politicians philosophers and others were all found guilty of the crimes of being dead, white and male. Statues were torn down, plaques removed and more. All because people from the past were found guilty of not thinking exactly as we do in the 2020s.

Searching for victims, it was inevidable the bloody – toothed mob would soon go after Scottish philosopher David Hume, whose Treatise on Human Nature (written while he was in his 20s,) still gives us valuable insights today. No matter, the mob deemed him a racist and insisted his name be removed from the University of Edinburgh building. So it came to pass that the university authorities changed the building name to “40 George Square”. A name which is still far more poetic than the building in question.

When I read that the attempt by the woke wankers at Edinburgh University had resulted in the University losing £££millions in bursaries, donations and legcies, I was delighted because as well as being one of the leading thinkers in the era of Enlightenment, Hume, unlike modern academics a real human being, could also claim another notable achievement, as is recorded inMonty Python’s Philosopher Song:

Scotland’s Woke Government First To Create An Orwelian Though Police Force

The Scottish Nation Party (or Scottish Nazi Party as I prefer to think of them,) which has enthusiastically embraced all the idiocies of the ‘woke’ left but has held on to power in Chilly Jocko Land through several elections may, by its electoral success, give the impression that trans-rights, open borders and abolition of personal liberty, free speech and the right to self determination are popular with the people of England’s northern neihbour. This impression is false, the SNP’s record is abysmal but Scoltald’s nationalist leaders have consistently deflected attention from Scotland’s economic and social woes by stirring up resentment against all things English. Thus the Scots now find themselves with the nastiest, most authoritarian and mos illiberal regime in the developed world implementing policies lifted straight from the obnoxious Big Brother regime in George Orwell’s dystopian novel ‘1984’. The policy in question is the Implementation of a Thought Police force, which like Orwell’s fictitious version is using surveillance technology and strongarm tactics to ensure citizens are not guilty of thinking thoughts the authoritarian regime has not approved.

Yesterday’s news broke a story about a woman named Nicola Murray, who runs a charity that supports women who have suffered domestic violence. Ms Murray was rather surprised when police officers arrived mob – handed at her home to inform her that something she tweetd had been “brought to their attention”. They then showed her a screen shot of the offending tweet.

In it Murray announced that the charity, Brodie’s Trust, would no longer refer clients to the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, because of “deeply concerning” comments made by the transgender female (i.e. chick with a dick) chief executive of the Rape Crisis Centre. This chief executive had said that victims of sexual violence should expect to be “challenged on their prejudices” if they expressed “bigoted” (i.e. transphobic) views. Ms Murray’s tweet said that, in light of this, Brodie’s Trust “cannot in all conscience send vulnerable women to the [ERCC] in its current state… We are a women-only service run by women for women and will not be intimidated into changing our stance on this matter.”

According to Ms Murray, the Thought Police bully boys acknowledged that she had not committed any crime but warned her, “We need to speak to you to ascertain what your thinking was” behind the perfectly reasonable statement she’d tweeted. Ms Murray said she was shocked by the experience. “I don’t believe anyone who has read that statement could view it as hateful,” she said.

She is right of course, if anyone is guilty of being insensitive here it is the thick plods who haven’t the nous to resist this woke wankery and the politicians who would send vulnerable and emotionally damaged women who have suffered sexual violence at the hands of humans with penises, to a centre supposedly set up for the protection of such women that is run by some freak who pretends he’s a woman, possibly in order to get close to those women who least want a man anywhere near them

Many people in Scotland will understandably be troubled by this story, and fear that their freedom of speech and though is under threat, and we can only hope they will understand the biggest threat to these and other freedoms comes not from dear old England but from the extremists they keep electing on the basis of spurious and impossible promises to achieve independence from England. Do they really want to sacrifice all their personal freedoms for the sake of being able to stand on The Roman Wall and expose their ginger – haired arses at the people to the south.
